Ingredients:
Chatterbox: Inkwell
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 can of biscuit dough
1 pack of pepperoni
1 chunk of mozzerella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. minced garlic
1.5 tbsp. Italian seasoning
3 family members
3 cups of fun
Directions:
1. Open the can of biscuit dough.
- Riley began to unwrap the paper of the biscuit dough can. Conner, knowing what was coming, braced himself and hid behind me, unknowing what was going to happen. Suddenly the can popped open. I screamed, and my cousins laughed mercilessly at my fear.
2. Cut each piece of dough in half.
- "What knife should I use?" Conner asked, looking at me and Riley. We both turned to see Conner holding two knives, one larger and one smaller with the blades pointed at them. "DON'T HOLD THEM LIKE THAT!!!" I cried, and Riley grabbed the smaller one. "I'm gonna cut them up, right? I can kill something really good." Conner sighed. "Fine," I agreed somewhat reluctantly.
3. Roll each piece into a ball, then flatten it out.
- "Do I throw it in the air like an actual pizza!?" Riley asked excitedly. Conner and I looked at each other, and then I said, "I mean, it doesn't say you should, but you can if you want..." Riley replied with an "OMG YES!!!!" then tossed the ball into the air. It stuck on the ceilng. Looking up at it, we all started laughing.
4. Put a tablespoon of marinara sauce on each piece.
- Riley pulled the largest spoon out of a drawer. She grinned evilly. "Oh heck no, you're NOT using that spoon," I said, snatching it of her hands. "We're supposed to use a normal-sized spoon. That's a freaking mixing spoon." I scolded, nudging her with the spoon. "Can I use a soup spoon, then?" Riley asked, holding up a glass Chinese soup spoon that we used in special occasions. Conner was the one to stop her this time, saying, "You're going to break something! Please get a normal spoon!"
5. Add a piece of pepperoni on top of each one.
- I glared at Conner sarcastically as he placed four pieces of pepperoni on his flat dough. "But Luuuucy!" he cried. I laughed, as did Riley. My sixteen-year-old cousin continuing to pile on pepperoni.
6. Cut up the mozzarella cheese into cubes.
- "Am I cutting it good?" Conner asked, pointing at his cubes. "No!" Riley said. "They're too big!" She grabbed the knife and stabbed it into the block. "Riley, what the heck." I crossed my arms and looked at her as she grinned at me. Conner laughed, and that broke the spell. I pulled the knife out of the cheese, and gave it back to Conner, allowing him to continue cutting the cheese.
7. Put one piece of mozzarella on top of each pepperoni.
- Riley popped another piece of mozzarella into her mouth. "Riley, stop! If you keep eating them, we won't have enough!" Conner scolded Riley. "bot Coooonner!!" She said. "I could cut more. You keep eating, Riley." I started cutting more cheese as my cousins continued putting the rolls together.
8. Lift the top and bottom of the dough and pinch them together. Then do the same with the left and right, and both diagonals.
- "They're like dumplings!" Riley said, quickly folding one of the dough disks correctly. Conner stayed silent for a second, in shock. "Wow, no one didn't have to tell you!" I said. Conner started to fold another one the same way. A hole immediately opened in the center, marinara sauce squirting out. "Mine's broken," he said. "Thanks, captain obvious," Riley giggled.
9. Place all the rolls on the pan with the seams down.
- "Even though they look like dumplings, they're not," I said, flipping over all the rolls Riley has already placed on the parchment paper-covered pan. "If you put them that way, they'll explode," I explained. I backed up a few paces as I watched Riley get a look of excitement on her face. "Can I make one explode, then?" She asked. With a sigh, I nodded.
I will finish this later!!!
