okay, so this idea sparked when I was filling out a charrie sheet for Season one Episode one, and now I think I'll bring it to life.

all the characters have ADHD, and are all somewhat in the same school, (some in the public and some in the preppy private). after a mysterious virus erupts through the nation, everyone exept the ADHD's are left in a strange sleep and are unable to be woken up.

the story takes place in the future where most of soceicty has already been wiped out. these are the only people left, and the ADHD's need to fix everything before it's too late.

Alright! first post of the story, people are still welcome to join, and if you've already made a character, you can make another one if you want,

Also @blue moon, I noticed you used both pronouns for Summers in your Charrie sheet, I don't want to get it wrong, so when you see this could you clarify?  as of right now, I'll just use both, but for the future, thanks.]

also, I gave some of the charries, some symptoms of anxiaty too, so Enjoy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
it really all started when an alarm sounded, signaling a lock down, and to go to the nearst class room.
Immeditly.
Jackson Lewis, and Sky Lopez had been walking down to third period when the annoucement was brodcasted, and to say it was almost impossible to get to a classroom, would be an understatement. the entire studen body went into panic mode, all of them running around, some screaming. which of course, is understandable.
after giving up on trying to get to their relitively close class, they decided to simply go into the class room to their right, only after Jackson almost started hyperventilating because of the crowed of people that just seemed to be closing in on her, slowly taking all her air, making her head spin. of course though, with the luck the two had have their entire life (being ADHD and being deemed crazy because of it) it was no surprise they had picked the room that had all of the popular guys. one of which, being Jackson's neighbor, Mason Booker, the king of his brainless minions.
"great," Sky muttered, the group not seeming to notice the two girls yet. the teacher, a middle age man with a balding scalp and a bushy brown mustache, sat behind his computer, but looked up as he heard the door. locking eyes with Jackson.
"girls, get over with the others, I'm not quiet sure what's going on, so I need you all to stay close, so I don't lose track of any of you," the man said, his voice laced with a british accent. hesitatly, the girls walked over to the boys.
Sky slunk down the wall, and sat on the tiled floor, while Jackson stayed standing, a far off look in her eyes, her foot tapping lightly against the marble. Sky reached out, took her hand and gently pulled her down, bringing her back into reality.
"sorry, I was-thinking," she muttered shaing her head, trying to get rid of the growing groggy feeling. both girls were aware of the sideways glances they were getting from the group of monkeys beside them.
"is there a problem?" Sky finally said, catching the eye of Max, Mason's second in command. her cheeks slightly tinting, as they do when she gets mad. Jackson's eyes widened slightly, as her foot jumped and down, figiting, it wasn't abnormal for Sky to get in arguments when they were around people that weren't--well, weren't like them.
"not with us, but with you..." Mason trailed off, his left eyebrow raising, lips slightly curving up at the ends. Jackson took Sky's wrist, before she could launch herself at the boy.
"it's not worth it," she muttered  to the struggling girl. "he's an idiot." bergrungingly, Sky stopped, only because of the shaky breathe the teacher took. the ten students looked up, forgetting about that fight that almost happened.
"Booker, Mulling, garbage bag the air vents, girls, line the door, make sure there's no cracks, and the rest of you, make sure to seal the windows," the man said, getting up and rushing to get supplies, handing Sky and Jackson ducktape.
"Mr. Johnson, what's going on?" Mason said, he felt his heart rate begin to quicken, and he silently cursed, he was prone to panic attacks when he got too stressed, which had been a lot lately. but not in public, normally at home up in his room, when no one could find out his secret. where no one could see him.
"woah, Mason you okay, dude?" one of the unnamed boys said, Mason nodded, trying to take in air. he turned to stare at the teacher, still waiting for an answer.
"A truck carrying a chemical to a testing lab, ran off course, and turned over, there's a leak, and the chemical is in the air, it's right outside the school, the effects of it are unknown, but it can be deadly, like radiation," the man explained, his face filled with worry.
"wait, what about the private school?" Sky said suddenly. "they must be in lockdown too? they're right next to us," at this point, it was more her talking aloud, but she brought up a good point. the preppy privite Highschool that sat beside theirs, the one that was their rival, would any of them care if something happened, should they? Neither Sky, or Jackson had met anyone from the school, but they had heard they were horribly stuck up.
"enough talking, secure the room-room," the man stopped as he looked up at the air vent, a light green gas was leaking from it, swirling around the room. Mr. Johnson, blinked, his eyes barly opening afterwards.
"guys, c'mon, we gotta cover the vent," Mason said, seeming to be the only one with energy beside Sky, and Jackson, who hadn't a clue as to what to do. the boys around Mason fell, topeling over each other like a failed dominos chain. it was Mr. Johnson who followed them, leaving the other three, alone, and terrified.
Sky and Jackson shared a look before turning to Mason. the riveraly between the popular and not, seeming to disapear. "check for a pulse," Jackson muttered, before dropping to her knees in front of the closest boy, and taking his wrist in her hand. after a while she sighed, "they aren't dead. it's like a coma," Jackson wanted to say more, but the words seemed to leave her. "why didn't it happen to us?" the other two didn't have an answer.
"should we see if anyone else is 'awake'?"  Mason said. his heart pounding in his chest, he a had a suspision as to why it didn't effect them, but it was stupid, why in the world would it be because of a shared mental issue they all had.
"you mean just leave them?" Sky said, staring at the people on the floor in front of them. Jackson shrugged, silently agreeing with the idea, "fine," Sky mumbled after a while.
~oOo~
"maybe we should check the other school?" Jackson suggested, the entire school was out. just like that, all the class rooms had people just haphazeredly there on the floor. Mason's eyes couldn't seem to focus on just one thing, and flitted around, the green gas still floating around.
"how do we know we aren't just going to fall like they did?" He said.
"well we haven't," a new voice said, the trio whirled around, and the sudden noise. standing in front of them were four new people, the few from the Privite school that hadn't been infected by the chemical. "I'm Lili," the girl with rust colored began "that's summers, Brae, and Kora, we're from Alonochava high," she said, smiling warmly. Jackson was buying none of it.
"why are they being so nice?" she whispered to Sky, the girl, Brae, stared at her with her head cocked.
"you know we can hear you, right?" her tone was a bit rude, but a something different was shown on her face, something no one was able to detect.
"I'm Mason, that's skyler, and Jackson," the boy said, running his hand through his hair, smiling at the new girls, Jackson rolled her eyes. typical for someone like him to be flirting, she thought.
"it's actually Sky," Sky intoned, glaring at Mason, who shrugged, a smirk playing on his face. "but that's not the point."
while the others began to talk, Brae wondered off, finding no importance in what was happining. she wandered over to a large window and peered outside, a soft squeak of surprise left her mouth, as she beheld the sight.
Everything outside was tinted green for as far as the eye could see, and something told Brae that it was farther than that. "Guys!" she called out, rushing back to the group. "it's not just the school that's been infected."
~~~~~~~~~~~`

okay, so that was a bit of a rough start, I know, I don't usually write in third person, so that'll take some getting used too, I don't really know how I feel about this, I could have been better, but I really wanted to get the beginning out there so you guys know I'm still doing this, but the other parts are going to be better, I promise.

They prefer to be referred to as he, but people who don't know them very well may call them she, as Summers is a biological girl.

okay, so this time for Summers, I've just decided, to use a Mix of pronouns.

anyway, if any of you have any ideas, feel free to share them with me!

ALSO: it's the year 2178, and the word was in tragity, so the idea of sections were born, it's the size of a town, but you are not allowed to leave your section. no one comes in or out of te sections. no one

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was clear, that the chemical wasn't just effecting the school, but what the seven didn't know, would be the green gas, had infected everywhere in their section.
one hunderd sixty years ago in 2018, no one would have guessed that this would happen. one could only hope that it hadn't hurt any other sections.
the seven was silent, worrying. it was Sky who broke the silence, "but why didn't all this happen to us."
"we were actually thinking about that too," Lili said, brushing her red hair behind her ears. "we came up with, pretty much a guess, and you sorta proved us right, Brae?"
"huh?" the girl said shaking her head, she had dazed off, wondering about how they would get food. "my idea lili?" she asked, her eyes widening slightly, "well, after noticing your obviouse symptoms, I think I may be right." she stopped, looking around.
"well what is it?" Jackson said, her eyesbrow raising.
"OH! oh, sorry, I think the ADHD postive aren't affected, because it gives the brain somesort of barrior from the chemical, why it does that, I have no clue," she explained, while chipping at pale blue nail polish.
"we checked our entire school, we're the only ADHD positive students, we're the only one's that aren't out cold on the floor," Summers spoke.
"that seems insane, but probably the only reasonable answer, which brings me to this," Sky began, her tone, hinting at angry, she turned to Mason. "do you have anything you'd like to tell us?"
Mason wouldn't meet the eye of the angry girl, and instead looked to the ground.
lukcy for him though, the intercom beeped alive, "Skyler Lopez, Mason Booker, Jackson Lewis, and Alonains, please report to the office," the voice cut off, and a man in a hazmat suit rounded the corner, "and get ready for elemination."
with out needing to speak, the seven came to an agreement and ran, the sound of plastic and rubber, sqeaking behind them, just out of reach of the last person.
they ran out the front door and stopped in their tracks, in awe of what the sight in front of them was. cars crashed, humans and animals alike, all fallen, all in the chemical coma. Mason's eyes widened, even the birds had been infected.
a pounding on the door, brought them out of their trance. "You don't understand what you're getting into, there's more people like me, and We'll be coming for you!" the man yelled eerily, and walked away.
"this, this is-" Jackson started.
"Horrifying?" Sky suggested.
"no, Awesome!" She finsished. "don't you understand what this means, we can do litteraly anything, and what's gonna happen?" she laughed.
"well, considering what just happened with that man inside your school, we could get killed, but I mean that's a worthy cause for what? stealing chips form the store?" Brae shot back. Summer's put his hand on the girls shoulder.
"relax Brae, it's okay," he said, a grave look on his face, turning to Jackson, "she's right though we have to be careful, we don't know what, or who, could be hunting us."
"I agree, we should go somewhere, and get away from all of this weirdness," Lili said, staring around. she clenched her fists, trying to resest the urge to jump and through throughout the streets, nothing would happen.
"yeah, but where, our houses are at least a mile away," Kora said gesturing to the private schoolers, gently placing a hand on Lili's shoulder, keeping her from running.
Jackson looked around waiting for Either Mason or Sky to step up, the other's seemed to be doing the same. "fine," she said finally, "I guess we can go back to my house, it's a few blocks down the street," she explained. Sky smiled thankfully, and they began their way, unknowing of the strange things just waiting to happen.\
