Writing Prompts
I'm writing a story (actually, quite a few stories), and these always help. I like to go for walks and listen to music (or whatever helps me think at that moment), and jot down whatever I happen to think of, no matter how wild.

-Suddenly, you hear something...a screech from just above your roof.
-The wind howls, and the porch creaks. Rain spatters down, but it isn't normal rain...
-Then a light-from the attic- and the fire goes out.

I love writing prompts!!! Whenever I'm stuck without inspiration for my already existing stories, I turn to my prompts. Here's one of my most recent favorites:
~ You are cleaning out your attic when you come upon an old trunk. You open it, and discover that it is filled with glass balls with people's names written on them. One accidentally slips out of your hand, shattering on the floor. A human appears.

Oooh cool!!! Here's one:
~ You are just about to dart behind a tree to hide from the human, when it calls, "Wait! Please!" In your own language.
Azkiel says xrxy. Why must 3/4 of the things you say be gibberish with too many x's in it??!! Your favorite letter must be X, I suppose.

Azkiel says xgga. MORE X's?! Really? *sighhhh*

Yes! I love writing prompts!
- Suddenly, you're shoved against the wall, and you fall through, engulfed in something squishy and blue.
- Someone screams. The log you're standing on cracks, and you fall into the raging waterfall below.
