Well, Neko, one of those was correct, but you're going to have to tell me which one it was. Since you're such a lucky guesser, it will be easy for you to specify. *Smirks, equally deviously*
(Someone has already snatched third place--they correctly guessed a state that I visited, but didn't purposely vacation in.)

PA?
...I'm hopeless.
There goes my great plan.

Haha, it was actually a great plan. I just remembered that people used to copy+paste CBer Censuses into SIs, and I was actually prepared for someone sending a list.

Ooh, nice! I bet the dryads in California and New Mexico are interesting. Have you gone to visit one of them? Or perhaps to the witches in the Louisiana bayous, the little deer and owls of Florida, or a beautiful place to blow up that you found in the vast open spaces of what I presume is Kansas. It's got to be some semi-mystical shenanigannary, though, no matter where it is. Are you in Ohio? I hear they have plenty of werewolves there, in the towns everyone thinks are empty.
Werewolves? Ohio is all about the Loveland Frogmen!

Ah... the Windwhisperer. A name within a name, feather-brushed across the ancient pages of time recorded; crumbled leaves of long-etched text lingering as scent and dust on the moon-chilled air. Very soon, it would seem, Realm will meet this face-to-face— a figure as elusive and all-effecting as the fey element portrayed.
TOP!!!!

I can conform the caliornia dryads are quite lovely, but since they are so shy, they dont come close unless you keep to yourself and sit in nature for around 2-3 hours, at least where I live anyways. The dragons often get irritated at toomuch quiet so, you need to make friendly talk with them. I would reccomend staying away from the chupecabras, though. Yikes! The sea serpants dont like interaction. Very ill-tempered and it is ill-advised to go and try to seek one out. Elise is the one which facinates me, but I would have to wait or abandon that dream. She... doesnt like a lot of people. The Billiwhack Monster has to scare me the most. I mean, C'm on! a goat headed man creature with claws and fur that carries a club and smashes cars of highschool students because shortly after WW2 It was created by a class of highschool students led by what I assume was their teacher, Mr. August Rubel. In the '50s a 9 year old boy was reported to be attacked by a weird animal near the Billiwhack Dairy. He had long scratches across his arms and back! EeK! And Creek Road! The haunted road! So many scares! First is the ghost of a bride, complete with a bloody wedding dress. She is tall and slim, with light brown hair and a veil covering her face. The story tells that she was murdered on the day of her wedding, perhaps by a greedy new husband who married her only for her dowry. She has supposedly been seen with thumb out stretched, trying to hitch hike. Second is a spectral horsewoman that re-enacts her death every year on its anniversary. The horse gets spooked by a snake, subsequently throwing her off to her demise. Next up is a headless motorcyclist that can be found rocketing down the lonely road. The story goes that he was forced off the road by a pick up truck and was decapitated by either a wire fence or the branch of a tree. There is also the spirit of an old Indian shaman sporting feathers in his hair. Finally, the area hides the skeleton of a European Vampire who lies staked inside a stone coffin guarded by a huge black phantom dog. One can find even more spooks just north of the park on Creek Road near the two lane concrete bridge spanning San Antonio Creek. First there are two young children dressed in 19th Century style clothes. They walk along the rails of the bridge and finally jump off to plummet to the creek bed below. If you race to the railing, their forms will not be found on the other side. Next up is a dis-embodied child-like hand that runs along the railings of the bridge. Then there is a ghostly school bus which as local legend would have it, went off the bridge in the 30s or 40s. Twelve children and the bus driver died in the accident. The legend goes on to state that if you visit the bridge on rainy nights, you can hear the screams of the victims. However, even with all these spirits and spooks, the most famous of the inhabitants is Char Man. Near the bridge, the ghost of Char Man, a hideous burnt beyond recognition spirit, emerges out of the forest and attacks motorists, especially those brave enough to get out of their cars and yell from the bridge. There are lizard people, but I dont find them too creepy, I have been playing dnd too much. Then theres dogwoman, body of a dog, face of a woman a bipedal dog body! Welp, I'm not going to sleep tonight! I sacrificed my sanity and sleep for my curiosity. California Foalklore, WHY!

Aaaaand I'm back! I don't think anyone correctly guessed the states I was vacationing in --they were Montana and North Dakota.
Viola? Was successful in guessing Minnesota, where I stopped on the way to both states.
We visited Glacier National Park, as well as Theodore Roosevelt National Park,--the latter looked like it could be home to dragons! I had a lot of fun, accidentally cut myself and bled for over twenty minutes, saw a herd of Pronghorn nobody else in my group saw, saw many herds of buffalo, walked through prairie dog towns (they are the meaning of adorable), and had a twenty-five hour drive home.
While all of that was fun, I'm thrilled to be back here. Expect new updates soon!
Welcome back! Sounds like an adventure.
