Calling all artists!
Calling all artists! I just noticed that the create topic button says 'click here to talk with aspiring authors AND ARTISTS', which I've heard nary a peep from ever since I got here. So. I like to draw. Any other artists out there? (You can still count as an artist even if you don't draw, fyi.) Surely I'm not the only one?

I like to draw :) My favorite things to draw
seem to be fantasy creatures and stuff. I also
like to draw landscapes... What kind of things do
you like to draw?

I like drawing and painting.

I draw sometimes (but not too often). I'm doing a glass mosaic on a small table soon - I think that counts as art. I don't do things like that much though...

OOOOOOOH! Memememememememe! Sorry. I just, um, also like to draw. Did you see my fourth place entry in the fantasy creatures art contest?

Um, does dancing count??? Ballet, maybe???
(July 3, 2009 - 6:30 pm)
I would definitely count dancing. Not everyone does, though.

I like to paint and draw. Right now I'm carving a sign for my room that has my name on it- does that count?

Thank you for pointing this out. I put a drawing post up but it soon went away. I enjoy drawing fantasy creatures, horses, and other animals. During the summer i find myself painting in water colors much more. Expeshaly when i am at my cabin. Through out the entire year i am also an avid rock painter. i was thinking of perhaps selling some of my creations but so far they are just christmas presents to family members.

I draw. Recently I've been going through a cecaelia phase (well, and merfolk too), mostly due to my current obsession with the OBCR of The Little Mermaid (while I hate Disney as a rule, I make an exception for the Broadway versions of The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid. <3 forever.) Cecaelia are fun.
I also do dragons. Lots and lots of dragons. Horses too, sometimes, and people ranging from cartoony to anime-ish to semi-realistic depending on the mood I'm in/what sort of genre I'm drawing in (oddly, the more "realistic" the setting the more cartoony the people look...)
I do a lot of, well, I guess you could call it fanart for some of the shows I watch (KP and Invader ZIM mostly, Tin Man too if you count that as a show (iTunes does), not so much the live action shows...). I rock at drawing GIR, ZIM, and the Tallest if I do say so myself.
Not sure if it counts as "art", but I'm also rather excellent at creating pretty Sims in the Sims 2 (and, recently, the Sims 3 + a CAS slider hack). :)

Disney - Walt = BAD. Very BAD. With some exceptions. But as a rule I hate modern, swaggering, money grubbing Disney.

I'm an artist of sorts. I draw freelance, with pen and pencil on paper. I'm a sketch artist. I pen sketch of my friend recently won my local Young Adults art contest in our county. It was fun to also talk with other artists about their work at the art display. If I could try one kin of painting, it would be landscape, because of all the nature you would be able to view and not to mention the perspective training you would get to experience. Are there any landscape artists here?

I don't like Disney very much... I don't HATE it, though. Well, I do hate most (but not all) of the movies. And I hate their television. Not that I ever watch television at all.

Well, okay, the Disney Channel... Bleeeeeeeeeeeegh. XP
