Camp Half-Blood Roleplay
So, I don’t think I usually make RPs...I mean, I join them and everything but never make them, so I believe this might be my first. If at any point you’ve read the Percy Jackson series and really liked them, please join! I promise this will be interesting, and I’ll try to post often. :))
Basically, this is at a different time than the era of Percy and Annabeth and everyone. What’s happening now is that one of the titans is going to destroy the camp due to continuous fights with the kids’ parents, so a select few of students are going to sneak out and try to defeat the Titan, against the rules of course.
The charries needed:
One from Zeus
One from Poseidon (sorry, but that’ll be me. I know, kinda basic, but I like the whole water thing)
Two from Athena
Two from Ares
One from Artemis
Two from Aphrodite
One from Hermes
One from Hades

Here’s mine:
Full name: Hali (like Hailey) Marina Brook
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Parent (includes powers): Poseidon, so water
Personality: Introverted, smart, likes to observe than talk. However, she’s not completely antisocial, and is open to having friends. Hali is curious and open to new experiences, but sometimes self conscious about what people think of her. She’s brave, takes risks, and although introverted, is not afraid to challenge authority.
Appearance: Wavy blonde hair (in beach waves) down her back, but it’s not super long. She’s tanned and slim, but still athletic since she loves swimming. She has big sea blue eyes with gold rims and has freckles sprayed across her face. She always wears an anklet or two. She’s about 5”5.
Background: She grew up on Hawaii, as her mother owned a surfboard company. Hali has grown up surfing and loves it, and she’s quite good. When she found out she had to go to Camp Half Blood, she’s never stayed away from the water, even after she found out who she truly was.
Shipping: Sure
Other: None for now
(January 5, 2018 - 11:07 am)
Absolutely! I think they would be great together, and that their personalities would fit quite nicely. :D
(January 15, 2018 - 4:28 pm)
Full name: Silas Geltz
Age (13-17): 15
Gender: Male
Parent (includes powers): Apollo. Like all kids in the Apollo house, he is skilled in archery, healing, and music (though the healing power is more of knowledge on how to heal it, and not magically doing so). Has perfect pitch, and is very good at making rhyming poetry curses.
Personality: Having been raised by a mother who plays music all the time on the radio at home, Silas loves all types of music. He may seem a bit strange, listening to rock at one point, but suddenly listening to Mozart. At heart, he is a bit quirky, but will do what he believes is for the greater good.
Appearance: Short light brown hair, green eyes, slightly tanned skin, IDK. :P
Background: Raised by a minor musician mother, Silas has always felt a little strange around people, prefering the company of his mother, their cats, and their birds.
Shipping: IDK
Other: Has a necklace with a small horn attached to it. When blown, it is suprisingly loud.

(January 15, 2018 - 5:13 pm)
Sure!
(January 15, 2018 - 7:23 pm)
Cool!
I’ll post tomorrow to kick it off, and I’ll reveal my identity.
Thanks so much for joining everyone! :D

Hey Annabeth! I don't know if you saw what I posted on my charrie sheet about shipping Mason with Alana, but I just looked at his charrie sheet and saw that you're shipping him with Kathlynn. Sorry! maybe we could ship Max and Alana? If you don't want to, it's totally fine. :)
(January 16, 2018 - 10:00 am)
So sorry Leafmist, Max and Braelynn are already shipped.
(January 16, 2018 - 3:32 pm)
Ahh, I'm so sorry! I didn't see that comment.
(January 16, 2018 - 4:37 pm)
@Everyone, I forgot to add that everyone has already been there at least one year before.
@Leafmist, can our charries be friends?
Oh, and I’m PinkPanther, as you can tell. Surprise surprise! XD

Hali~
Camp Half-Blood. Oh, I’ve missed the sight.
“Are you going to just stand there?” Silas scoffs.
“Shut up,” I mutter, heaving my bag and walking towards my cabin. I’ve always been by myself. It’s not like there’ll be cabin mates to greet me.
I walk through the breezeway-esque area to go to the side of the cabin that has my room. When I get inside, I carelessly take my floppy hat off and hang it on the bed post.
I then take the orange shirt out that I brought back from last year. I literally haven’t grown. It’s oversized anyway, which is comfortable so I can roll up the sleeves or tuck it in or whatever. Quickly changing into it, I decide to also change into mom shorts with a brown belt, and putting on my Birks to head out, I decide to check how Silas is doing.
Apollo cabin has gotten used to my face, and sometimes they joke I’m an honorary member just because I join their team every time when it comes to Capture the Flag. I’ve gotten good at archery thanks to Silas, and I’m honestly at their cabin often. But then I’m at everyone’s cabins often. That’s how you act when you don’t have a cabin mate.
However, there’s always one person at each cabin that doesn’t like you. And this person is glaring straight at me.
“Yeesh, what’s up with you and her?” Silas whispers, nudging at me. “Has she still not gotten over last year?”
Of course not. Solange and I were the last people at Solange’s team’s flag one game last year. She got Ares-violent with me, even if her fighting was good. She eventually cut me with her sword to the point that the bone was almost showing. I don’t even know where everyone else was, but I knew she was close to being called out for a penalty because of the fact that maiming is against the rules. I healed myself with water, she freaked out, and I got the flag. She’s never liked me because of my water powers, but our interaction destroyed any possibilities of a friendship or even an acquaintanceship.
“I’m not sure,” I respond.
“Right,” he says.
“Well, catch you later. I’m going to go see Alana and Aubri.”
“Alright, see you at dinner.”
I walk out of the Apollo cabin, my mood a bit down, when I see the Aphrodite cabin.
Already the smell of perfume and other fragrances hits me before I have a chance to run away.
Luckily, I don’t have to open the door to greet Aubri and Zora as they burst out, laughing.
“Hali, hey girl! It’s been ages!” Aubri says enthusiastically.
Zora nods and I smile at her, feeling a bit more cheery.
“Anyway, so that’s at least what he said to me last summer. I don’t know how it’ll be this time though,” Aubri continues, facing Zora.
I silently slip away and see Alana struggling with bags by the Hermes cabin. I jog up to her and tap her on the shoulder.
“Need help?”
“Oh! Hali,” she says with a smile and a hug. “That’d be great.”
Once we get everything situated, we start walking outside, just watching and catching up.
“So then my brother stole the tools from me, from right under my nose. I’m surprised he’s not a son of Hermes!” At this we both laugh. “And how have you been?”
“Good,” I reply. “Surf shop’s been doing real well. Surprisingly, there are a lot more tourists this year. Used to just be local action. The waves were really good, and I got more surfing supplies for Christmas...oh, and I won first at the National Championships for youth, and I ended up getting to see ISA Worlds. Nathalie Jontu won, so that was pretty cool.”
“Any communication with your dad?” she asks.
“He’s not really supposed to,” I reply. “But I did find a mysterious gift for my birthday. It was an anklet, as if I don’t have enough of those. I’m wearing it now, see? With my two other ones. But I think it might’ve been him. How bout you?”
“Once. And it wasn’t exactly the greatest news.”
I raise an eyebrow, but she waves it off. “I’ll talk to you about it later.”
Suddenly an Ares’ kids approaches us, and he has a scowl on his face. Silas thinks they’re misjudged. He has friends in that cabin after all.
“What.” I’m surprised at Alana’s briskness. But again, she’s always been this way.
“Hey, I don’t want trouble. I just want to see who’ll ally with us, the Ares’ kids, for Capture the Flag.”
“You can’t do that,” Alana snaps. “That’s against the rules. You stick with your team.”
“Oh, but we know. Let’s just make Chiron happy when he announces them or whatever, and then when we’re out there on the field, we’ll have the real two teams. We’ve seen you guys fight. What’d you say?”
“No,” Alana snorts. “How many people are you getting to sign up for this pitiful act?”
“Enough,” he replies, squaring up Alana.
Alana scowls back.
“Okay, guys,” I say, pulling Alana back a little. “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.”
I turn back to the guy. “First timers are here. Give them a taste of legal Capture the Flag first, will ya?”
He rolls his eyes but nods. “It’ll be taken under consideration.”
“Yeah, get out of here,” Alana mutters. Once he’s away, she continues. “Their brains are about the size of a runt-of-the-litter pebble.”
I smirk, when I see them causing YET another problem...wait...no, those are Athena kids. But they’re crowded around one dude, and they’re being obnoxious about it.
“C’mon, lets get away,” Alana says. But I ignore her and start heading for the problem. The somewhat minor danger.
As I get closer, I realise that they’re taunting the Hades kid....Colin was it? Either way, he’s outnumbered, and that seems hardly fair.
“Hey!” I exclaim, shoving through them and up towards Colin. I face the one at the front, and my face droops when I see Brae in the crowd. She’s nice. But maybe she doesn’t really want to be here. “What’s your problem with him?”
“Skulls over here was giving us the death glare. Just putting him in his place.”
“That’s unnecessary,” I reply. “Stop picking a fight. Move on.”
“Ooh, look at his girlfriend, being all defensive or whatnot. Step aside, Shark Week.”
“Could you SHUT up?!”
Oh no. Now Alana’s in the mix.
“For one second, just shut your mouth! You claim you’re smart all the time in disgustingly excessive amounts, so show it for once in your life.”
“What’re you going to do about it, thief? You can’t exactly pickety pockety your way out of this one, can you?”
Yeesh, these people must be suffering major summer fever. There is restlessness everywhere, and that makes me wonder how the mood in Mount Olympus is right about now.
“And you’re going to use your fists to get out of this one?” Alana responds with clenched teeth. “I’m warning you, Hammilson. Don’t mess with me this summer.”
Oh of course. Clara Hammilson. They were rivals last year.
Clara scoffs, but the fire in her eyes has decreased dramatically. “Whatever.”
They leave, and while Alana’s still fuming, I turn back to Colin.
“Hey, don’t worry about them-“
“Really?” he interrupts. He seems irritated. “That wasn’t needed. You just made things worse.”
“We stopped you from a broken nose,” Alana replies, with sarcasm dripping from her lips. “Be thankful, yeah?”
He scoffs and stalks off.
“Whats his problem?” I ask, still watching as he leaves.
“Don’t know don’t care,” she replies. “Let’s go.”

So, are you going to post the next one or are we going to switch who writes?
(January 17, 2018 - 10:34 am)
@Peachylette, maybe Aurora and Brealynn can be friends?
~Brae~
I have never enjoyed capture the flag.
All the running, jumping, strategizing, yelling, fighting; all the complete and utter chaos. Athena's children are best known for stategizing in games such as capture the flag, so I suppose we would be picked for an ideal team.
But this?
"No." I shake my head, returning to the pages of my book.
The Ares kid persists.
"Come on, It'll be fun! You won't even have to fight, just help plan out our strategy. Wouldn't it be awesome if we had the ultimate team?!?"
I smile sweetly. "It would also be cheating!"
The kid scowls, making one last attempt. "Don't be difficult. Can you please just join?"
I glare up at him. "You are an irredeemably malignant barbarian, and you are interrupting me from reading my book. Please leave."
The kid clenches his hands, then decides its not worth the trouble and leaves. I sigh, finally returning to my book. A laugh rings out from across the way, and I can't help smiling and peeking up from my book.
Max Steen.
Tall, handsome, incredibly sweet. He's smiling, talking to one of his friends. I notice he has dimples. His eyes sweep around the room, and I bury my head in my book before he can get to me. I sigh. Of course, he's an aphrodite kid. He could get any girl in camp he wants, why would he go for me? I have no chance with him.
I pick up my book and messenger bag, deciding it will be easier to read without distractions in my cabin.

Uh, sorry... but I'm dropping out. I would rather not say why, in case it offends someone. If you really want to know, I can tell you. It's... kind of a big issue I have, so... I don't want to bring it up and cause a problem.
(January 17, 2018 - 3:42 pm)
We get it.
(January 17, 2018 - 6:30 pm)
One more thing: @Annabeth, you wanted one of your charries to be a child of Zeus, so that's open now if you want it.
