Theater RPG 3!!!!
Peter Caminski is hosting a very special talent show. Full of determination, Peter advertises his talent show all over town. He's trying to handpick a very special group of people for a special reason, and the theater gives him just the place to get started. However, as soon as he olds auditions, a LOT of complications pop up.
Here are just a few:
~He shares his biggest secret, his story, making his best friends, Violet and Toad, feel a little mad that he never trusted them with it before.
~He finds his long lost sister, Anelia, but can't figure out a good way to introduce her to his parents.
~He is reunited with his closest childhood friend, Rowen, after they severed ties because of several arguments, only to find she doesn't recognize him.
~Oh, and he only has a few more days to organize a talent show and fix up a gradually deteriorating theater.
So, the question is, are you going to help him out? You'll probably get into quite a mess, and if you go to Mabelton Public High School, you'll probably get teased for hanging out with Peter Caminski, and of course, I can't promise that getting a bunch of theater-inspired teens and tweens together isn't going to include a lot of fighting and friendship troubles. But Peter needs you—now more than ever.
~
If you haven't joined the first, or even second, of the Theater RPG series, than I advise that you read this http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/283117?page=6 before joining. We may have room for a few last minute acts, and ANY other talents would be appreciated (lights and sound, curtains, costumes, set, a little backstage fixer-upping).
Also, I think Zen left, so Violet may not be here anymore, but let's keep her as part of the team, okay?

Name: Peter Caminski
Age: 14 1/2
Appearance: Typically disheveled light brown hair, dark green eyes, pale skin, a couple freckles here and there. About average hight.
Personality: Excited, enthusiastic, absolutely determined, socially awkward, typically keeps to himself, always overflowing with ideas. He makes a great leader when he can pull himself together.
Something they are (were) hiding: Peter was adopted.
Talents: I know this doesn't make much sense, but Peter's talent is...being Peter. He's an actor and leader who's full of ideas. He knows he can pull this thing together.
Other: He is Anelia's brother, and best friends with Toad and Violet. The four of them have a lot of fun together, and, lead by Violet, have pulled some pretty epic pranks.

hey, not to be rude or anything, but I feel like the RP is sort of focused around four people and the other people don't know what to do with their charries. Can we be a little more inclusive please? Nice writing, guys.

Aww, snap! Missed the deadline. Oh well. I'll be reading! Since this is the third rendition of this particular story, I'm assuming it's gotta be good. Keep writing!

..., I was kind of hoping that other people could jump in and put their charries in too. Like, could they meet up at the theater as well? Even though it's a continuation, we've had two people introduce their charries. If you want your charrie included, all you have to do is post.
Starseeker, you can still join any time!

@..., if you want to be included in the story, like Rosebud said, all you have to do is post. (Which I have not been doing, I'm so sorry I completely forgot.) Will post later. :)

@xp, of course our charries can be friends.
Jasmine:
Money jingles in my pocket as I walk through the crisp morning air. The world is still and silent, as if still asleep, and I don't want to wake it. As the ice cream shop comes into veiw, I check my watch. I know I'm weird, but whenever I have money I stop by the ice cream shop before school. I walk through the car park, and cross to the sidewalk. As I open the front door, the bell jingles. I walk through the isle of seats slowly and pull out my wallet. As I wait in line, I see four kids sitting together in the corner, talking quietly. Curiously, I look closer. My goodness, I must be mad! I walk towards the group robotically. My eyes aren't deceiving me. "You're Amelia Smith!" I burst out. I'm lost for words. A girl that's been missing for days turns up in an ice cream parlour? The group all turns to look at me. The one closest to me, a short red-haired one, gets to his feet and grabs my arm. "What are you doing?" I screech. "They lead me out of the parlour and into the car park. "We can't talk here." Says a boy in front of me. "And please stop yelling, your attracting attention." The boy turns around. It's Peter Camanski! The boy who's running the talent show! What the heck is going on here?

Anelia~
"My name isn't Amelia, first of all, and also-"
Peter claps a hand over my mouth. "Quiet! We don't want to attract attention," he says, both to me and to the other girl.
Violet has decided to take a different route, straight to the point. "Who are you?"
"Why should I tell you? You three show up at an ice cream parlor with a girl who's been missing for two weeks? I'm going to report you, Peter Caminski!" was her panicked reply.
"Look, she's not missing. She's my sister," Peter says protectively, putting his arm around my shoulders.
The girl does a perfect impression of a fish out of water. "Your...sister..?" she sputters, trying to make sense of what just happened.
"Come with us. We'll explain," Toad says.

Luke~
"Nonono! Mom! I'll be fine, really!"
My cries of anguish and humiliation did no good against the short-and-squat woman in front of me, clutching her car keys like a weapon. My mom tossed her hair to one side, red curles bobbing, and placed a fist on her hip. "I know I said I wanted you to be more socially active, Luke, but the key word there was social. I don't like this idea of you lugging around set pieces and - "
"Mom. I won't be 'lugging' anything. I'll be sitting in a booth above the audience and running a spotlight. No activity involved."
"No activity involved in 'Set Day,' either, I'm sure. Anyway, the theater is a ways away. I should drive you."
"It's a couple blocks."
"And I don't want you walking any more than that. Get in the car, Luke. Honestly! Did you know some kids beg to be driven this distance?'
Yeah, well, I wasn't "some kids" - but I didn't say this aloud. I had lost the argument, and there was no reason for it to stem into hurt feelings. Anyway, even if Mom sat in the back of the theater like she was threatening to, it wouldn't be that bad. All I'd be doing is painting. And no one else would care. Right?
The car skidded to a stop in front of the decrepid old thing. The sign on the front was peeling, the wood splintered. "I don't like the look of this place, Luke," Mom remarked, leaning over me. "Are you sure we're in the right spot?"
"Yeah, this is it. And it's why we need a Set Day." I grinned. "It's going to be a really long day, Mom. Are you sure you don't want to just drive home? You don't even have a book or something."
She sighed. "That's true. No heavy lifting, okay? Take care of yourself. And if you feel sick at some point, come right home. Okay?"
"Okay," I promised, and I got out of the car and headed inside.

Brianna's going to be late, of course, so I'll write her POV later.
Oh, and I have a request, and please forgive me if it's harshly worded. You see, I sort of drifted away from the second Theater RPG, and the main reason for this was god-modding. People were controlling what my characters did and said. Not only is that rude in itself, but they were also using my characters incorrectly. I don't mind if you describe their clothing or something, but saying, "Luke stood up and shook my hand. 'Hey, how are you doing?' he asked" is just not something I want to have happen to my charries. I noticed the beginnings - actually, some extremes as well - of god-modding already, and I wanted to throw that out there so no one has an experience like I did in the previous RP.

Hey y'all! My internet shuts off in like 10 minutes so it's not worth starting a post. Normally, I would be on here constantly, just like Peter would be, posting from his POV, a weather report for Mableton, or whatever else, but I actually haven't been getting home from theater practice until pretty late, so that's limited my CB time. So just a heads up! Help me keep it alive! Liiiiiive! Liiiiive! I command you to LIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!
Rosy Petal says Barb. Yes, Rosy, if it was earlier in the evening, I would be watching Barbara Gordon and the rest of the YJ team doing AWESOME STUFF!

Wait, who's the short redhaired boy? Peter is tall and has brown hair and Toad has literally bright orangeish hair and can't walk.
Peter~
Dad sets Violet, Toad, and me up with our usual orders, which he calls "specials" (2 scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough dipped in chocolate, sprinkled with nuts and drizzled with caramel for me. Dad calls it the "sugar-high special" and only makes the crazy concoction for me). When he gets to Anelia, however, he stops. "I'm afraid I don't know your special, young lady," he says.
"This is Anelia, Violet's friend," I explain "My friend too!" I add when she gives me a slightly hurt look. I'm still a little nervous about introducing her to my parents. We then sit at a table discussing plans for Set Day and tracing some ideas out on a paper napkin. Long after we have licked the drips of ice cream off our fingers, we stand up and prepare to go. I look back over my shoulder to wave goodbye to my Dad, but he is in the back somewhere and has been replaced by Cathy, the main cashier.
Suddenly, the bell on the door rings and one of the talent show's newest recruits, Jasmine, walks in. She stops and stares for a few seconds before bursting out,
"You're Amelia Smith!" Several people turn to look over, including Cathy. Uh-oh, whatever I say here can be overheard.
"First of all, my name isn't Amelia," Anelia begins, but I cut her off quickly.
Thinking fast, I give a quick, panicked nod to Toad and Violet before practically pushing Jasmine out the door.
"Look, she's not missing, she's my sister."

Sorry! We'll catch up with Luke at the theater next post! Gracious, time flies when you're writing. It was like 9:08 a few moments ago!
