Welcome to the beginning. The beginning of the end. The aliens have landed. The mutants are coming. The robots are on the hunt. All because of one meteorite. On June 14 of 2026, the asteroid Colossus finally stuck Earth. The people knew this day would come. With the asteroid came the ship. And with the ship came The Corruption. The Corruption snuck it's way into the wires of the new lines of robot soldiers creating a new mission: wipe out humanity. The animals were not spared either, The Corruption taking them as well, giving them the new instict: the instinct to kill. And then came The Outsiders from their Dreadnoughts, bringing their Corruption to Earth with one goal: No survivors.
Years later, in the year of 2030, humankind has still been fending for itself, living in bunkers, scavanging for food and water as much as they scavenge for sanity. Using whatever they can to protect themselves from the end of the world as we know it.
You are one of those survivors.
And you will fight till the end.

OK, so I've been wanting to do something like this for a very long time. Basically, there was an asteroid that hit Earth, and a bunch of aliens called The Outsiders landed in it, bringing with them a force called The Corruption, which took over machines and animals, mutating and controlling them.The Outsiders never reveal themselves, exploring the Earth's surface in large iron mechs. You are going to play as some of the last of the human race, living in fear, adn hiding from the forces that threaten to destroy us.
A couple rules:
1. Characters CAN die, but only if the author wishes them to.
2. The only limit on characters is that they must be human with normal life spans, and that they cannot be OP.
3. Password: Armaggedon
4. Keep in mind, this does take place in the future, so there will be some technological advancments (eg: Cryogenic containers, artifiialintelligence, etc.), but not too much. So no laser guns or spaceships.

Full name: Rose Yukiko Takana
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Rose has warm chocolate brown almond shaped eyes that are slightly rounded. She has a smaller nose and mouth than most, but her ears are slightly bigger (not drastically though XD). She’s really fast when it comes to running and is trained in martial arts, so she’s slimmer but also is athletic. She’s average height of a seventeen year old, though she is going on eighteen. Rose has loosely curly pitch black hair hat falls a bit longer than shoulder length. She has fair skin with a tint of tan. Rose wears dark clothing, like a dark high collared shirt and a jacket similar to the Star Wars Resistance jacket with a grey blue patch from an karate dojo back home, a faded orange and yellow patch from the space research station, and other patches (sorry, couldn’t resist with the Star Wars thing). She wears dark pants fitted like leggings and dark laced up boots.
Personality: She’s actually quite silent, preferring to observe rather than to talk. She’s not a leader but also not a follower—she governs herself. She doesn’t mind having friends, but could live without them. She’s always up for a challenge, though, and loves to take the occasional risk. She puts herself out on the line for people she cares about and doesn’t usually plan; instead she lets things unfold. She’s always cool headed and collected, with an occasional witty remark. She’s actually super smart, but people don’t realise that until she speaks up. Rose doesn’t show much emotion, beacsuse she was hurt the last time she did, but she’s been known to crack every once in a while.
Background: Most of her family is dead, except for her MIA older sister. Before the Apocalypse happened, her family was upper class, living in a large house in the city. She hated it and wanted nothing to do with her family. People thought she had everything handed to her, so she made extra sure to get the best grades in high school and be the toughest in physical education (and don’t forget about musical instruments). Eventually those skills helped her out when she was on her own.
Home country: Japan, but they moved to London because of her father’s work.
Weapon of choice: When she goes old school, her favourite katana. When she just wants to get it over with, a bow and arrow that has modified arrows to explode, poison, instant kill, etc. (Plus she has a handgun on the side pocket of her pants).

Did I mention that The Corruption makes everything have the lust to kill all humanity? A captured mech would just murder you.
@Catsclaw, Details, PLEASE. Those were all one sentence descriptions and one that wasn't even that. Also, do you think a 14 year-old is going to know how to use a machine gun? I'm sorry if this was rude, but for this rp, I need these characters to be war-torn and broken. This is serious stuff, and the last thing I want here is OP charries.
Please don't take offence, I am not insulting you personally. It's just that I would really like this to go a certain direction, and tried to explain that in the rules, but I guess I didn't do it well enough.
Let me start over:
RULES:
1. No OP charries. These people are broken and dying, living on the verge of extinction. Think Last of Us Zombie Apocalypse or Fallout.
2. Details. I need 'em. As much as you can give me.
3. Keep it realistic. People will not be happy when their bunker door gets ripped open by mutant bears the size of elephants with green skin and teeth like a dinosaurs. Think what you would do in the situation. Not what would be heroic, what you would actually do. OK?

I have a question. Are there going to be zombies? Because, I won’t join if there are zombies. They're creepy. So yah... but I think this RP is more on the robots and alien kind of thing. What if the robots aren’t like the boxy robots, maybe more of droids? Ya know? Sorry if this sounds rude! Just questions.

Yeah, I didn't put zombies for a reason. I thought they'd be too creepy too. No zombies. Yeah, for the robots, imagine Halo Spartans, but robots. If you can't imagine that, just look up halo spartans an they basically look like that, but silver and with more guns.

Basicly I like doing animal like characters because well, when I do humans they seem... bland. So when I read this I was like "Mutants aye? I'll do a Raccoon!" but then I read Rule 2.... and so I'm stuck with humans and they are always the same! I can't think cool details without ruining it!
so ya... now you know why I went "Wah"
