Chatterbox: Inkwell

Lee, a wonderful, and passionate female leader, but yet she is categorize as disabled because of her looks. In this world many people judge you by your looks, instead of who you are.  One of her eyes is missing because when she was a baby it had a infection that made her eye fall out. They. If you were a stranger you would see a lemur, with a eye, and a eyes socket. Scared you would most likely ruin away, but shes not dangerous. 

I do understand why you would run away, though. Her nose is oddly shaped. It looks like she only a half a nose and one of her ears if squashed againts her head. It looks like someone took a hammer, and banged her ear with it. 

When she was born. She got, sick very sick. The lemurs didn’t no how to help her, and they thought she was going to die. She wouldn’t let the other lemurs touch her, except her mother. Her mother didn’t know how to help her either, and very night she would cry.  Lee would scream. 

But someone how she survived.  They renamed her Carpe Diem, which meant seize the day. They named her that because that day she had siezed the day, made it bend to her will so she could survive.

After she wasn’t sick, anymore. The other lemurs teased her, but she did not understand. Her mother always defend her, yellling at them. One time her Mother hit one of the lemurs on the head. Luckily she did not receive any punishment.
