Chatterbox: Inkwell

Louell stared into

Louell stared into the black screen of her computer.  She sighed.  The wi-fi was so slow, it was almost ridiculous.

"Hey, Lou, I don't think we're ever going to get gaming today," Aaron called to her.  "There's too much lag!"

"Even if we DID get online, we would be so overcome with lag that we gould literally die immediately." Molly added.

"Well, I hope that doesn't happen," Louell sighed, leaning her chin on her hand.  She picked it back up again as her sccreen started to glow a bright indigo.  "Guys, I think my computer's working!" she cried.

"But isn't your computer supposed to glow white and say 'chrome' when you turn it on?" A guy Louell didn't know asked meanly.

"Wait, mine's doing it too," Molly said, pushing up her glasses.  "I wonder what it is."

Soon, everyone realized that all of their computers were glowing, too.

"What's happening?"

"My chrome book's broken!!"

"Is this part of the game we're playing?"

"No, dude, none of our computers were working a second ago!"

And then Hunter disappeared into his computer, followed by Alyson into hers, then Molly, then Aaron.  Louell was the last to be in out of the ten people in the club.  The last thing she saw was the deep indigo of the screen, and then there was nothing.

Molly opened her eyes to find that everything was sort of blurry.  "Where are my glasses?!" she said worriedly, squinting and looking at the ground.

"I don't know much about your glasses, but do you know where we are?" Max asked her.

"Why would I have any clue?" Molly said, looking around for him.

"I'm right here, can you not see me?!" Max cried, waving his arms above his head.  He stifled a laugh.

"I CAN'T SEE.  I'M NOT WEARING MY GLASSES," Molly said loudly and clearly, with a hint of anger.

"Are these yours?" another voice asked.  "'Cause they're definitely not mine."

"Alyson?" Max asked.

"Yes," She replied.  Molly, you said you needed your glasses?  Wait, but then I won't have any."

Just then, Max laughed.

"What?" Alyson asked.

"You guys are wearing each other's glasses!"

"When's the next chance I have to be a warrior in a game?  Because I really want to kill you right about now," Molly growled.

Alyson walked over to Molly and removed her glasses from Molly's face, then handed Molly her own.  She put them on.  "Does anyone know where we are?"

Aaron had spawned on top of a tree.  "What the -- What is with the physics here!?" he yelled.

"Hey, friendo.  Down here," He heard a voice.

Aaron looked down and saw a boy with red hair and green eyes staring back at him.  "I don't know you," Aaron said.

"Get down here and I'll tell you," the boy said, finger-gesturing him to come over.

"I'm a little scared of heights," Aaron said.  "And we don't know where we are."

"I know, and I'm going to leave you here if you don't come down," The boy muttered, crossing his arms and turning away from him.

Aaron jumped off the tree.  "Oww!" He cried as he hit the ground.  A menu bar appeared in front of him, nine empty grey boxes with an empty green bar, nine and a half hearts, and ten drumstick-shaped icons over them.  "What is this?"

"Minecraft.  I'm surprised you didn't know this already," The red-haired kid said, rolling his eyes.

"So we've known each other for like five minutes and you already think I'm an idiot?  I don't even know your NAME!"

"Can you two stop ARGUING for long enough for someone else to say something?!" cried a voice only Aaron found familiar.

"Louell?" Aaron asked.

"Right here," She said, waving from under the tree Aaron had been on.  "I don't know that guy though.  He seems like a huge jerk."

"How dare you," He said.  "And it's Ethan."

Hunter was on team Bloodlust.  An archer.  Of course, he only knew this because it was his favorite game.  He was aware of the game quickly.

He was wandering around, killing random AI, and not at all wondering what was going on.  If anything, he enjoyed being in his favorite game.  Then he saw a name he recognized.

"July*?" He asked.

"Uhh, yeah?" She replied.

"See my name?" He asked.  "I'm using my level four attack."

"Oh, I see you!  You're an archer?  I never knew!" July laughed.

"Same goes for you being a warrior," He replied.

"Who started a party without me?!" another voice rang out from what looked to be 20 feet away.  There was a mage attacking a level 20 Vanguard AI.

"Should we help him?" Hunter asked, glancing at July, who had her arms crossed.

"He IS Bloodlust, like us.  It's in the best interest as a team to help him out.  And again, I think that's Jonathan," July replied.

"THAT'S Jonathan?" Hunter said, smirking.  "You've got to be kidding.  He would never take on a level 20 AI."

"Well, Jonathan doesn't know the game," July says.  "He barely even knows the controls."

"Then let's do it," Hunter grinned, running into battle.

And behind them was one more person.  Shelby followed them as a Shaman, a healer.  "Wait for MEEE!!" She cried, trotting alongside them.

"Hey, Shelby," July said to her, continuing to run.

"Yeah?" Shelby answered.

"I guess you're with us, right?"

"Yep!" She grinned.  "If any of you need healing, I'm always here to help!"

Yep.  So that's how I hoped the Gaming IRL solo write would go.

To put it simply: It died in two weeks.  Not enough to get ten characters.

Starting with Molly, Max, and Alyson!

"Does anyone know where we are?" Alyson asked.

"Um, no.  Everything's black," Max replied snarkily.  "Why, should we?"

Just then, the black area around them turned into a room, not lit except for the glowing white lines on the ground, going on infinitely forward and backward.  Molly, Alyson, and Max each glowed a different color.

"Why am I dark blue?" Max yelled angrily.  "Are you two up to something?"

"It's because you're a wet blanket.  Duh," Molly said sarcastically.

"Heyy!!  Not true!" Max retorted.  He stomped on the center line, and a note played from it.

"Middle C?" Alyson asked thoughtfully.  She stepped on the line next to Max.  "And that's D.  Molly, play the one on my other side." She gestured to the line to her left.

"Um, Okay?" Molly said.  She sounded confused.  She walked over, making several other notes as she did so.  She stepped on it.  "E, I'm guessing?"

Alyson nodded "Yes."

I like it. Did I join this one? I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure I joined one Gaming Rp and one Gaming Solo Write both by you. Anyway, if I'm not featured I'd love to submit a character.
