Okay, do any of y'all remember that awesome RP I started this fall that I had trouble keeping up with b/c I had rehearsals (or maybe I didn't mention that)? I'm rebooting it. In a whole new way. Welcome to the Griffinfeather School for the Determined! The school for the super-skilled and super-ambitious...just in a whole different type of way. GSD teaches through a combination of hands-on classes, daring competitions, and all-out warfare. Oops, did I say warfare? I meant TRAINING.
This RP will be structured in a slightly different type of way than your average RP. First of all, instead of telling us all about your character before we even dig in, you simply become your character. This is a challenge, as their promisingly unique personalities and relationships will have to unfold throughout the story instead of being written up in a charrie sheet. To sign up, just put your character's name, age (any age at all is acceptable, though roles will be slightly different per age; more on that later), and your character's (not your own) answers to a quick survey. This survey is like taking the Hogwarts House test. It will determine who the head of your training will be. If I get at least three people signed up, I will start the RP on a different thread. I know this may seem complicated, but I wanted to go ahead and start the real RP from my character's POV and situation instead of me giving the instructions for the RP. So, here are a couple rules...
1. No superpowers, but no ordinary talents either. Your characters may have talents that BEND the rules of science but do not break them. Some examples are; being able to judge the distance of something just by looking at it, being able to know exactly which direction a far-off sound is coming from, having an internal compass (metephorically), etc., as far as small things go, and then perhaps some bigger things such as enhanced senses, perfect accuracy (CALLED), etc. You may think "that's no fun," but it's actually pretty uncanny. Your characters were born with these abilities, perfectly honed and ready for action. They didn't come from experience or practice. Now that's a little more superschool worthy.
3. If you are above 19 or so, you are a teacher or other part of the school staff, and that is fine, we do need staff, but you should pay attention to the "rules" made up as we go by other staff RPers. That being said, we shouldn't back each other into a corner with too many rules!!
4. Oh look at me. I'm a hypoctite. Too many rules ;) HAVE FUN! Defy the laws of science!

C. Other: She has the ability to see feel the vibrations in things, and create a mental picture of them based on the sound they make. For instance, if she tapped on a wall, she could tell you whether it belonged to a giant stadium or a small room, and then tell you what was inside. Rosebud, is that too OP/not realistic enough? If so, tell me, and I'll change it.

(we're supposed to take the survey in character, right? i do hope so, because that's how i took it tbh! )
1. physical acitivities ( v excercise oriented! ♥︎ )
2. not a generally competitive person, unless something particularly interests him such as a specific topic or game.
3. as little as possible
4. knowledge! when he was younger, he was very interested in intellectual pursuits. . . but as he tried to gain more knowledge, he realized that he wasn't naturally smart and that cognitively figuring things out was actually quite hard for him, so he turned away from that to physical things.
5. a mix of physical and other?? whatever his power is, he's figuring it out . . . and it's a very fluid thing that he must practice with to gain control of.
this was sort of challenging but i hope i did it correctly & without adding too much of the actual character in?? oh well.

Welcome, welcome, WELCOME! Everyone's playing Elemental Quest right now, until the machines malfunctioned and everyone almost died, but didn't...or DID THEY. I'm kidding, let's keep this from earning a PG-13 rating for violence. So, I officially elect you as Principle Sasha Night's assistant! Be prepared to put up with Winston and Adrian.
