Princess Academy

Princess Academy RP

~~~
So, this is a bringback of elementgirl18917's (Is the number correct?) RP which was a bringback of Someone-I-Don't-Know's RP. There's a slight change though . . . *smiles mysteriously*
~~~

You are a normal girl, living on top of Mount Eskel. You have a pretty good life. Your father is the village [blacksmith, woodcarver, prime miner, etc., insert one] and you have a caring, wise mother. Sure, sometimes you go hungry occasionally, but your mother's always able to scrounge out some stale bread. Your province's main produce is linderstone. Everyone on Eskel learns how to speak through linderstone.

One day, a reveloutionary change happens in your life. The prince, Felipe Regnum, has decided to get married. You have been chosen as one of the girls who will try for his hand. Who will get it?

~~~
Simple. Except . . . when the prince and [insert village girl name here] are finally engaged, we will follow the "Palace of Stone" plot. Basically, in Asland, the poor are rebelling, and one of the village girls are jealous of the one that got picked so they plot against her. Also, one of the girls is Mount Eskel's royal delegate. We'll vote on these.
Mine -
Name: Melissa Carver
Age 12 -15 (the prince is 16): 14
Father's job: Village Woodcarver
Position [ Delegate, Princess, Traitor ]: I'll opt for delegate
Personality: The warm type, kind until you make a rude comment about something she's close to. Then she'll explode into rage. She's not easily angered though, but not exactly passive either.
Strengths: Awesome woodcarver, learned how to quarry-speak with linderstone, friendly, stubborn
Weaknesses: Afraid of losing a few people, shudders at snakes, terrified of guns.
Which Type {Musical, Mathmatical, Regal, Shrewd, Political, Nurse-like, Social, Artist, Writer, or Scholar}: Artist, if I get the delegate position, political.
~~~

I repeat, 10 people can join. Have fun!

Okay. Then let's keep it to nurse-like and shrewd. Thank you, Killim - I was not focused on doing my charrie - I was mostly focusing on telling my brother to stop messing around with my earphones (^^).

P.S. Thank you, Admins! I needed that helpful little encouragement!

Someone already took nurse-like, I think, so you'll be shrewd. Your father'll be a miner.

Name: Annie Kohlebergmann

Age 12 -15 (the prince is 16): 15

Father's job: Actually, can this be 'mother's job'? Is that possible? Could my mother be a teacher? My father is... um... a farmer? If not, I guess a miner.

Position [ Delegate, Princess, Traitor ]:  Delegate/princess...

Personality: Annie is beautiful yet humble; she is also tough, and often helps her father in the fields. She is also educated, since her mother is a teacher, and she loves to spend her free time reading, writing, studying history, and doing math. She almost always sports a playful grin, but she is abe to be serious when it's important, and she knows that she represents her island and her family when she goes elsewhere. She is very scary when she is angry, however.

Appearance:  Raven black hair in large ringlets that fall about her face, but she ties them up while she's working; she has pale-ish skin with a million freckles across her nose and cheeks, and on her shoulders, from spending days in the sun. Her hands and feet are tough and calloused, and she often wears t-shirts and shorts. Howver, she does enjoy wearing dresses whenever the time comes around. She has beautiful, piercing green eyes and thick eyelashes, and her lips are naturally sort of red.

Strengths: Writing and reading (unlike some others on the island, she finds literature and words a wonder), running (she is extremely fast)... she is amazing at math and can do even the toughest of equations quickly in her head. She is also good at arguing/debating/bargaining.

Weaknesses: Her father; she loves him more than anyone, and would do anything to protect him. She gets extremely mad whenever somebody insults her father (he is very shy and sometimes starts to cry if something bad happens). She has been known to beat up even the toughest and biggest of boys who have made fun of him.

Which Type {Musical, Mathematical, Regal, Shrewd, Political, Nurse-like, Social, Artist, Writer, or Scholar}: Writer/Scholar/Mathematical.

Mount Eskel doesn't have a school. Barely anyone knows how to read or write.

You can only choose one position to be a canidate for.

Women usually don't have a job, they just mine.

Like I said, Eskel doesn't have an education. No one can read, write, or do math. (for the type spot, it's for the favorite subject at the academy)

You can only choose one type.

We're doing this is times where there's royalty. No modern stuff (except for rifles).

Your father'll be a miner, Eskel doesn't have farmers.

Debating isn't really a strength in Eskel.

Fine! I'll change it! If you need everything to be so specific, you should clarify that before hand. 'Surnames must make sense'? And if no one can read or write, then why are 'scholar,' 'writer,' and 'mathematical' options? I just think you could be a little nicer with your corrections, and not get mad when people are confused about rules you never explained. Thanks!

Name: Annie Kolberg

Age 12 -15 (the prince is 16): 15

Father's job: Miner.

Position [ Delegate, Princess, Traitor ]:  Delegate, but if not, princess.

Personality: Annie is beautiful yet humble; she is also tough, and often helps her father in the fields. She wishes she was educated, but no one on the mountain is, so she hopes to study hard at the academy. She almost always sports a playful grin, but she is abe to be serious when it's important, and she knows that she represents her mountain and her family when she goes elsewhere.

However, she does enjoy wearing dresses whenever the time comes around. She has beautiful, piercing green eyes and thick eyelashes, and her lips are naturally sort of red.

Strengths: Fighting, singing, and writing poetry (in her head). She hardly shares it with anyone, because she knows it will be frowned upon; however, she seems to have been born  with a knack for words (once again, IN HER HEAD! You don't need to yell at me about this one, Random Person!) She is also good at arguing/bargaining.

Which Type {Musical, Mathematical, Regal, Shrewd, Political, Nurse-like, Social, Artist, Writer, or Scholar}: Scholar. If that's taken, writer, and if that's taken, mathematical.

Here's a correction to the UPDATED charrie sheet I just posted.

Annie likes to help her father in the mines, not the fields since Eskel doesn't have farmers, so they apparently ship all their food from elsewhere, and don't grow it. I mean, I'm assuming they don't have gardens since everyone spends all day in the fields or with the goats. I guess you could eat goats. I was excited about this character, and now I'm not so much. I know that there is now no way I'll get elected for either of the things, but whatever. I'm glad I spoke my mind. You may have fixed it now with Lola, but do you realize that at first, you caused her to apologize, thinking she had done everything wrong?

Anyway, I guess I'm excited about this RP; it seems cool, please don't kick me out now! XD

I find it amusing that you think we're on an island. We're actually on a mountain.

Oh, no! I made a mistake and wrote 'island' instead of 'mountain!' Time to laugh at me!

@ Foxy

The "which type" thing is a first-come first-serve thing, you can only chose one that's not occupied.

Yes! 3 spots left now! Not including J. B. A.

(June 16, 2017 - 5:31 pm)

Let me just make things clear.

4 spots left.

You can only choose one of the positions and which types.

The father cannot be a farmer, trader, or teacher.

There are no teachers.

Nobody can read, write, do arithmetic, debate, or anything educational.

Most of the girls herd goats.

You can only choose two things for which type if it's an "if situation [Ex: Artist, if I'm the delegate, political.

Surnames must make sense.

WE ARE NOT DOING THIS IN MODERN TIMES.
