Welcome to the medieval and slightly terrifying world of The Four Majors, danger, and magic!
Ahem.
This is the story of the Four Majors. We will come to your world later.
The Four Majors is a group of people--almost like the gods, some say--with powers, divided into four groups. Hence, the four majors.
The least effective group is Healers, in rank four. They can heal injuries using magic, but it makes them weak and dizzy afterwards.
The next effective group is the Elements, in rank three. There are the blood elements, water elements (sometimes ice), fire elements, and, rarest of all, Time Elements. We won't talk about them, as they aren't very important to our story. Compared to the first group, however, there's a huge difference. The Elements have their powers for a limited amount of time each day, and it can be dangerous and unpredictable. The Elements can control an element, much as their name suggests.
After the Benders, there's the Shapeshifters in rank three. They can transform into really whatever, but they can only hold their form for two hours (and another two to recharge), and certain transformations can be emotionally and physically stressing.
Last but not least are the ones that they call the most powerful...the Dragons. No one has ever known or met the dragons. You may ask "Can't shapeshifters turn into a Dragon?" The answer is no. No shapeshifter has ever completed that task. A member of the Dragons must be born of Royal Blood or on the first month of a season. Nobody knows why or how. They don't have many weaknesses...at all.
I only want one Dragon.
Each member of the Four Majors has a familiar, an animal that is often magical (Aria, the star of the series I based this off of, has a Blood dragon. Dragons and the species dragons are different in a way...but we'll get to that later.) and helps them with things and performs magic alongside them.
A few information about powers:
Blood only comes out when you're angry or upset.
Ice/Water only comes out when you feel sadness.
Fire comes out whenever.
Dragons can lose control often and destroy more than they want to...it can be very...very dangerous.

You live in this medivial landscape filled with villages (each led by someone called a Lord--which is not gender specific, a Lord can be a boy or a girl), but the main one important to our story will be Sekkena, a village like any other where everyone spends their days the same....trading, farming, eating, being a guard and protecting the village....just living, most of the time.
Our main characters are each going to be part of the four majors. There can be side characters from the four majors, but only four are going to be important to our story.

I call shifter! This is an awesome idea!
Name: Siberia Lopaz (can come by as meaning White Wolf or Arctic Wolf)
Major: Shapeshifters
Personality: Fierce, Loyal, kind, and protective. Fluent in sarcasticness. Salty, but will do anything go protect those she cares about. If you betray her, you're basically asking for a death wish.
Appearance: long darkwood brown coloured hair with rose highlights. Glowing ice blue eyes and pail, slightly tanned skin. Looks frail and breakable, but actually very strong. Will never wear a dress, but always wears a pair of small topaz earings and a short silver necklace with a small lunging wolf on it.
Familiar: A jaguar with dark amber eyes who goes by Wildfire.
Backstory: grew up in a small village with crazy protective parents that would cage up her familiar at night because they thought she was unsafe for their child. Little sister died from the cold when she was six.
Other: her favourite form to take is a wolf with white and brown and red fur, to prove to her parents she can protect herself and they didn't name her Siberia Lopaz for nothing.

Name: Lady Quinne Evergold
Major: Dragon
Personality: Ambitious, cunning, very smart. She is quiet and can steal anything, and wins fights and arguments easily by twisting around people's minds with what she says that psychologically confuses them.
Appearance: She is slender and on the tallish side (but only a tiny bit). She has black hair in a bob that goes from short to long. She has very pale skin and big but piercing blue grey eyes with gold flecks that tend to glare. She has a small mouth and can make a sly smile and a small nose. She has a small spray of freckles. Very small spray.
Familiar: A blue dragon with gold and bronze scales. Deep, dark eyes that glare similar to human appearance. Large and malicious looking, with very sharp claws.
Backstory: She's a lady of the court, so her family is wealthy and in power. I don't know what else to add, tell me if I need to add more. XD

My charrie is a Healer with mysterious connections (like, maybe family-wise?) to Fire Elements, though she doesn't have the power. Her name is Kyoriala, Kaya for short.

Soo, all four of the main spots are open but there can be more characters? I noticed that you said if any for the major. Does that mean that some of them can have no power? How does that work with the story?
