Yes!!! BRING ON THE SUMMER!!!! (sorry about the caps lock, Admins) But my writing teacher said we all have to read a book by a British author over the summer, and come fall we're supposed to give an oral report on it. *pouts dramatically* But really, I hate oral reports. But I just emailed in my final assignment, and I'll get my grades soon. I hope I get over 100% in writing - I did before I sent in my assignment (you've got to love extra credit) - and it would be cool to end my first year in the high school writing class with the highest grade in the class. *giggles maniacally* I'll be babysitting every other day most of the summer, but I won a week of engineering camp at UNR at Mathcounts, so I get a week off. (and one of my friends who's in college there is taking summer school and might come and see me on her lunch hour. :D That's cool for some reason.) But enough pouting and gloating. I digress. Back to my original topic: BRING ON THE SUMMER!!!!!!

My schoolyear ended June third.

Ugh. *head exlodes* We still have an ENTIRE WEEK left until school's over. Fifth grade has been the worst school year ever...
(June 13, 2009 - 10:13 am)
I'm sorry.... When I was in fifth grade, I was in a really small private school, and fourth, fifth, and sixth grades were all in one room with one teacher. :P:P:P:P Seriously uncool, that, because the teacher had to give us a ton of unnecessary work to keep us busy. But the next year we started homeschooling, so all was well. :D Sorry about your bad year.

Yeah, 5th grade lasted really long for me too. 7th went really fast this year, though. Summer is long overdue, but it seems just yesterday that I was a wide eyed 6th grader visiting the junior high for lunch and oohing and aahing as all the older kids went by :D:D:D

We don't even get to change schools in sixth grade, because I go to a private pre-k through eighth school... which has been okay except for in fifth grade. But if I elaborate on that the Administrators would probably zap this (with good reason, actually), and trust me when I say that you do NOT want to hear any of this... :(-
(June 14, 2009 - 10:52 am)
:( I'm sorry you've had a bad fifth grade. Maybe sixth will be better?
(June 14, 2009 - 5:24 pm)
Thank you, Lena... and you think what you call me is bad, you should hear my teacher talking to me. :/
I need to stop whining. We should be talking about summer- four days, two hours, forty-one minutes and eight seconds until school's out! Whoo!
(June 15, 2009 - 4:09 pm)
I don't know if I want to hear your teacher, or even SEE her, the way you talk about her... ;)
Okay. Positivity! A bit more time has passed since you posted that.
(June 15, 2009 - 5:29 pm)
9 1/2 days. *sniffs*
(June 15, 2009 - 8:26 pm)
Actually, Lena, you probably don't. :/
It is now three days, four hours, forty-six minutes, and thirty-six seconds! Yay!
(June 16, 2009 - 3:03 pm)
Three days, eleven minutes, and thirty-nine seconds! *is obsessed*
(June 16, 2009 - 6:38 pm)
Trixy? What does your teacher say to you? *is concerned*
Anyways, I have a teacher (LA), and whenever she has a sniffle she says, "someone in this school gave me a cold and I am not very happy about it, so you guys can do these papers while i rest."
no joke. someone in this school? our fault???
i hate school.
(June 16, 2009 - 6:48 pm)
Oh, okay. *sigh of relief* I saw your "*Mary, not Trixy" post and got creeped out, but now I see you meant this, yes? Phew.
Anyhow, she has called me negative, argumenative, annoying, too mature, too grown-up, verbose, too persistent, too inquisitive, hated, attention-seeking, a disruptive influence, and claimed that I argue too much. Among other things. Oh, and once I used the word "agathokakological," which made her tell me to start speaking English and not use words that no one understands.
So... *sigh* You can see why I'm counting, yes? ((two days, two hours, fifty minutes, and twelve seconds... yay!))
(June 17, 2009 - 4:00 pm)
Aren't teachers supposed to ENCOURAGE the use of words like agathokakological? Also now I'm intrigued... what DOES it mean?
