Hi! This is my first time creating a thread on Inkwell. I understand that it's more for stories, poems, solo writes - you know. I'm trying a story. I'm not going to finish it, CBers! You guys continue! Or you can comment, let me know what's wrong or how to improve it. I don't care what you say, I just need to push myself - sort of.
Chapter I
Faliki looked into the murky waters of Kiake River. "No..." Faliki saw exactly what she did not want to see in the water: her mother.
Faliki had been told by the Goddess of the River that if she saw her mother in the Kiake River, that meant her cousin, Ake, was badly injured. Faliki felt crushed by the news. "It can't be!" she cried frantically. "Ake - he was my favorite cousin - "
She knew there was only one way to fix this horrible enigma: going to Ake, even though it had a rough journey to get there.

Okay! That's where I stopped. Please finish it! I really would like to see what you guys think. I don't really like it, though, so I'm hoping you guys will make it better.

Hi Foxy! I have a question. There's two ways of multiple people writing a story. One is an RP, in which everybody makes a character and writes from their character's point of view. The other is an RR, or round robin, in which people continue the story from the same point of view. Which is this?

I've been wondering who you are for ages, Mr. Top. Why in the world do you post random things?? It's not okay, you're just blugging up stuff. Say something true, Mr. Top, like, 'I don't want to do this'.
Sorry. It's just, I have no idea who you are and why you just say 'top!'.
Create a name or something! Join! Are you feeling left out? I can help, just I want to know why you say top all the time. On other people's threads. I have no idea why they don't reply...something needs to happen.

"Top" is just what people use when they are posting merely to move a comment from a back page to the front. Many people use it.

Don't worry, a lot of people think Top! is a person. It's mainly just a way for CBers to get a thread to the... top.

It was dark. It was a sudden realization, but Faliki had never been afraid of the dark. It was Ake who feared darkness, it was Ake who feared death, it was Ake who feared all things that dwelled in a realm that tangled with darkness.

Awesome! Keep going, guys, you're doing great! Soon I'll post the whole story but right now people just post their part of the story. That is really, really, good, September! I like the dark part. We should make the setting of the place dark.
