Regarding Kyngdom. . .
I feel like I don't fit in at Kyngdom. I haven't really posted because I don't really know where the story has been without me (for the last year and a half). It's kind of weird how I missed all the interesting stuff and I don't really know what to write and/or RP about.

That's how I feel, too. Kyngdom started when I was taking a hiatus from the CB, so I got very confused when I came back.

Now's as good a time as any to jump back in! You played Arra, right? Thimble was wondering where you went! I don't RP as Thimble anymore, but hey, she's not dead, either...;D
Here's a quick summary, starting at the Power of Hoof. (I was gone for the Power of Fin, so unfortunately I can't summarize that.)
Zephyra and Little Crow went into the Decoy Forest in the wintry north of Kyngdom. Cornelia Hornshaw of BIG also entered the Forest, and both teams were headed for Regina, a reindeer who was the supposed guardian of the Power of Hoof. When they got there, Little Crow got his name (he's Flash now), and Catastrophe attacked Jokull (Regina's mansion) soon after. Cornelia and Zephyra teamed up. BIG and the Resistance are now allied to defeat Catastrophe. As of now, the Resistance is sneaking into Jokull to launch a small attack on Catastrophe's new base in Regina's mansion.
Regina, of course, isn't the real guardian of the Power of Hoof. Blazing Star is. I think Scylla might be coming back to play as Blazing Star, but I'm not sure, as her post on the Tale: Two Kyngdoms thread hasn't shown up yet.
Anywho, Grace X., AKA UNSUSPCTNGSTRYTLLR (I'm sorry if I misspelled your name D:) has recently started a school for mages in training, and I'm pretty sure it's open to new students. BIG has started sending out letters again. Shadow and Alexandria have died, as well as Heather Abru and Lilly.
Alexandria was killed by Heamistress Luna Rigga of SOCS, the Society of Concerned Scientists. Shadow was killed by the Black Skull, a very elite, hidden, mysterious, supersecret organization that Rigga was a part of.
I wasn't there when Heather died, so I don't know how it happened. I can't remember Lilly's sister's name or her last name, but she got killed by dynamite at a ball where Mina tried to kill Rigga.
(Rigga's dead now--Mina and Baron, a new character, killed her and exploded SOCS's base. I haven't checked that thread lately, but last I saw, Mina and Baron were trapped in the rubble.)
So the Black Skull is rising, the Resistance is attacking Jokull, and other daily happenings are happening right now. I hope this summary was helpful!!!

For the record, I didn't play as Arra . . . Whoever that is. I play as Lucy.
(May 25, 2017 - 10:29 pm)
Oh, sorry Lucy, my bad! I thought you might be Arra since she just came back as well. Sorry. :(
So, here's a bit more information about people/places that might be helpful:
SOCS stands for Society of Concerned Scientists. They were basically just like BIG, except they did experiments on humans as well as animals. They also had a boarding school where they trained girls to be ruthless killers. Alexandria was one girl who went to the boarding school. She was Shadow's sister as well, though she didn't know it. She was executed by the headmistress after she betrayed SOCS and joined the Resistance.
Shadow (AKA Shadow of everywhere) was a resistance agent who used to be the Angel of Death. Her real name is Maria Brown, but since she was abandoned at a young age she stole to survive, and since she was so good at stealing, people started calling her the shadow. The name stuck.
Shadow and Alexandria were eventually reunited, but it took Alexandria a while to come around and join with the Resistance. Then came her untimely death at age eleven, and Shadow was left alone.
She was captured by the Black Skull, which identified her as a threat. Nobody knows much about the Black Skull, only that they're really evil. They killed Shadow after doing some tests on her.

I hope these were a little more helpful than the summary.
@Hermione--I can help you with any questions you might have about Kyngdom! There's also a Q+A thread on Kyngdom where there are lots more people to answer questions.

That was good!
A couple of corrections:
Its not a boarding school, it's the Academy where the girls live for most of their lives.
Also, Shadow wasn't abandoned, her parents were killed and her siblings were taken so she escaped the town and started over.

Whoa. That is a good summary. By the way, Lilly was the one who died- Karune (her sister) is still alive, just passed out.

Thanks! And oops!--I meant Lilly. Sorry, I was really tired when I wrote that.

I'll post a full explanation if possible before vacation.

Kyngdom Synopsis
Here's what's going on in Kyngdom.
The original plot of Kyngdom was that you received a letter from an animal-hating company named the Brazen Inquiry Guild, also known as B.I.G. On the letter was a paw-print and a hurried scrawl in inexperienced handwriting--"DON'T TAKE THE JOB".
The Cypher Project was going on at the time--a project that had successfully created a machine to translate animal speech to humans. B.I.G was interested in getting scientists from the Cypher project to move to their labs--but B.I.G did cruel, evil experiments on animals. They didn't believe in animal sentience at all.
Then the animals came out of the shadows. They confessed that they were sentient, and then they informed the world about FAFA.
FAFA is short for Fur And Feathers Association. They're a group of animals (and human spies inside B.I.G) that fight for the animals, rescue imprisoned test subject animals from B.I.G, and go on a bunch of heroic missions as such.
The FAFA missions, a few happy years, are as follows--
1. Rescue Zephyra.
Zephyra was an aunt of someone called Little Crow, and involved in FAFA. She had stopped outside the Bog & Burrow inn (a type of place for animals to go eat, underneath a human diner called the Jolly Roger) for a quick breather, and was captured by two thugs for B.I.G carrying Cyphers, named Bob & Gog. She had screamed several things saying that she didn't know anything about 'wind' or was it 'wing'?
Well, she had been taken by B.I.G, and FAFA organized a mission to rescue her--and did successfully. When Zephyra got back, she explained about Guardians, and that animals that are alike to a Power (they have its trait, wings, claws, etc) guard the Power to make sure that nobody has it or would activate it. Then she revealed that she guarded the Power of Wing--and that B.I.G had it!
There was a scuffle, and one of the spies inside B.I.G (I'm SO sorry, I can't remember her name, and no, she isn't an Admin-made character like Zephyra and Little Crow) got the Power of Wing--but later, it was activated (it's unclear how).
The Power summoned a rampaging Gryphon (If you don't know what a Gryphon is, I'm sorry. Also, he just has anger issues. *pats Caelani on the back)! It tore apart at B.I.G's headquarters, and was caught after a long and difficult battle with FAFA (thanks mainly to Scarlet and Storm Windwhisperer, a chicken and an owl who were not Admin-made characters), and placed into a cage made of logs (thanks to some beavers).
2. Find the Power of Claw guardian
They discovered that there was a guardian of the Power of Claw, and a message in some strange, other-worldly magazine called Cricket told them to "Dig under the Stone Tree". And Storm Windwhisperer took the lead, along with a few other players, in planning the mission.
The mission found a huge cavern in the roots of the petrified tree. And a rabid badger.
One of the people on the mission, a girl named Wiseowl who was a morpher, who could shift shapes between girl and owl (Fun facts: a shapeshifter can do any form, a morpher can only do one, but also mutate themselves to have the characteristics of both), had been held captive by B.I.G. She recalled seeing a feral and rabid room full of animals that B.I.G was...turning rabid. (The project was later discontinued.) B.I.G had gotten to the guardian, and the limestone xylophone (which is the instrument of the Power of Claw) that was positioned in the middle of the cavern? A fake.
B.I.G had the power of Claw, and the guardian had died in the fighting.
3. Find the Power of Claw
It was that time again! Time to go back to B.I.G!
This time it was to find the Power of Claw instrument (also, fun fact, my character had been captured and taken to B.I.G at that time as well). And they found the base surprisingly easy to get into after last time.
Then they discovered the horrible truth. B.I.G had the instrument, and all of a sudden one of their young interns (a non-player character invented by UNSUSPECTINGSTORYTELLER, the writer of Wiseowl) named Marsha Yearwood darted forwards and played the xylophone.
Then chaos broke lose. Caelani and Claaws, the two Powers that had been still activated at that time (a gryphon and a dragon), arrived at B.I.G and had a reunion with Ecio, the clawed serpent. Aaaand B.I.G's precious lab got broken again.
In the midst of this, something happened that unless you've done a bunch of research on the Powers, you won't understand. There used to be a boy named Catastrophe who swore revenge on the Powers for an incident that happened with Caelani. He killed them all and invented Brazen Goo, the only poison that can truly poison the Powers. Claaws killed him--but as he was covered in Brazen Goo, she died also, leaving all the Powers as their instrument forms.
Then, Catastrophe made an appearance after having been dead for hundreds of years.
He showed up and the Song of War Bird began to sing, and they knew that war was near...then, after all that, FAFA, Capn'O (a branch of FAFA), and the Powers left their separate directions.
4. Labyrinth lands
FAFA had decided they wanted something to combat the Power of Claw if he got too dangerous. So they headed to the Labyrinth--where the Power of Claw used to be kept. The team followed a series of clues--but Little Crow, Icy, and Eliyana Fur went missing, to later be discovered to have been captured by a mysterious creature named Jaaws (they were rescued, don't worry.)
After beating the series of tests, they got interrupted by B.I.G and digging drills, a giant ground sloth awoke, and the maze flooded.
***
Next, Catastrophe makes an army, several armies are formed, and Kyngdom is in war, to wrap that all up nicely.
Wow, Icy, thank you so much for taking the time to write all this up. Several people have been asking about Kyngdom. This is very helpful, and we appreciate your effort!
