Chatterbox: Inkwell

The Fire of Mondre 
I've been thinking about this for some time, and I feel I should take on a solo write. 
The world has never been a been a perfect place - in fact, it was gruesome, heartbreaking, and cruel at times. Ever since the Elves encountered Asia in the 1800s, and Dwarves came out of hiding in 1650, the world faced change. Three races, Humans, Elves, and Dwarves, intermingled, new ethnicities were born, and discrimination raged. Slavery existed against mixed races for 200 years before the Americas and Great Britain put a stop to it at last. Now a new issue faces their races:
Who is to say they are free? And what made you a human?
With races mixed as they were, seldom was it a true full-human was found. Those who were found one of three fates: captured and sold into illegal experimentations unknown to the common population; defending the rights of the public; or part of the Elites, a group of pure-blooded Elves, Dwarves, and Humans, dedicated to ridding the world of mixed peoples.
The remainder of the world's population found themselves struggling against the current. If they lacked enough sufficient Human race blood, were they citizens? With every government ran by Elites, rules were becoming more and more strict. Some choose to fight back, but with no goal. That is unless you were fortunate enough to fight by other means.  
The lives of generations relied on the Elvish/Dwarf blood now deeply interwoven with that of Humans. If one strand was cut out, all the world would die.
Will you fight back and help define the term of "human" and "citizen"? Or will you join the Elites, power hungry and blinded by pursuits of "pure blood"?
Do remember, I might tweak a few things just to make it fit better. As for the character placing (main, secondary, etc.) will be read through, although I will make the announcements on who gets what on the 20th unless I reach the cap participants prior. These are the open positions:
Main Charries: 1-2 Elites, 2 Activists, and for the activists, 1 will be a girl, 1 will be a boy. I am especially on the lookout for one of them being a pure blood in Elf or Dwarf. You'll see why later, my friends.
Secondary Charries: 2-3 Elites, 2-3 Activists/Neutrals
Tertiary Charries: Up to 8? I will consider adding in more as the story progresses. Ohh, and to have one young Elite would be nice. You'll see why later!
Feel free to make up to 3 charries, but not all for the same position or gender! Charries close the 20th unless spots fill up before then.

Charrie Name: Zentra Stein

Appearance: Tanned skin tone; dark brown, oval eyes filled with knowledge and love; a beautifully formed smile, teeth like pearls, yet often hidden behind closed lips; long, pointed ears from her Elvish decent; long, wavy dark brown, almost black, hair, reaching past half way down her back, a small braided strand that slips from behind her ear when not pulled back to form a half-crown; tall and slender, with long, flexible fingers, and small hands and feet; usual dark clothing, especially her favorite being a dark blue tank top and black skirt, reaching just above her knees with black sneakers or flats; a golden locket hugging her neck, with memory of her mother inside; and a scar running across the small of her back from a beating years ago.
 
Personality: Caring and compassionate, strong in her beliefs of equality and freedom for all races. Zentra is somewhat timid, yet a natural born leader when she lets it show. When joined with her two closest friends (the other two main charries), the best in her traits are brought out. After massive abuse as a child from the Elites, the death of her mother, and the kidnapping of her younger sister, her whole life has been one black cloud, leaving her to fight through occasional moments of depression, fear, and sorrow.
 
Backstory: Raised in a poor yet loving Human/Elven household, Zentra and her younger sister, Metri, received endless fountains of love. Their father was a hardworking, sweet man who spent hours a day slaving over the heat of an oven, pounding metal as a blacksmith. Their mother stayed at home, raising her children with a homeschooled education, delicate in all her doings. When Zentra was five, she would play near the market with a friend (boy main charrie), when Elites came by. Her friend was examining a piece of fruit, considering to buy for his sick mother, and Zentra was by his side. The Elite saw this action from "filthy mixed folks" and beat the children with a whip. Her friend was left bleeding from the back, and they both grew up with hidden scars - both emotional and physical. At age seven, Zentra woke up in the middle of the night to sobbing. Father had just returned home - working night shift - and their lives changed forever. Mother was dead from a sickness she had been battling. Along with that, Metri was gone, a single note from the government stating she had been taken and shall not be returned. Her father left two years later when he felt Zentra was old enough to live with her grandmother, in order to search for his missing daughter. Her life from there was nothing but blackness, facing the brutish ways of her grandma, and the loneliness of death and disappearance.
 
Bad Habits: Depression, sorrow, and fear hold her back from doing what is sometimes right, or for the best.
 
Favorite Activities: Spending time with her two closest friends (main charries), reading, writing, music, and poetry. Also enjoying nature to escape from her grandmother for hours at a time, and remembering her family before all was torn apart by war and violence.
 
Pet Peeves: Noise. Whenever numerous noises or loud noises are present, she often cowers up, covering her ears, and on occasions, crying. Part of it was due to sensory issues, another part because it reminded her the night her mother died and sister was stolen, a night filled with the cries of her father.

Please note! I am looking for 1 boy main Activist and 1 girl main activist. Also, one of these please do be a pure blood Dwarf of Elf. Other than that, I don't really have any requirements. If there are more than one for a position that is taken, I will just have to choose. The final charries will be revealed the 20th unless spots fill sooner. Let's do this!

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Race: Pure Dwarf

Ethnicity: African American

Appearance: Dark skin, Ruffled Dark brown hair in a pixie cut dyed bright blue on the tips, very short. Large dark brown eyes. Full Lips. Gray hooded crop sweatshirt, neon baggy sweatpants. Sneakers.

Personality: Natalie is not afraid to say what she thinks. She has strong opinions and feels the need to defend them even if there is no point, so quite stubborn. She's impatient and needs to be doing something important all the time. She gets angered rather easily, and holds grudges. However, she is quite friendly and is kind to most people unless they don't agree with her ideals(Elites). She's a bit black and white with her thinking, and feels as if you're against her or with her. She's incredibly bold and protective of her friends, to perhaps a fault.

Backstory: Her little brother had been bullied by some elite children at their school. After Natalie went over to kick their butts she was expelled from the school. Now, she goes to a different school where Natalie tries her best to protect her brother.

Bad Habits: She blurts out constantly, and gets physical much too often in arguments. Way too bold, and does stuff without thinking. She hates sitting down for too long so she wiggles in her seat most of the time. 

Favorite Activities: Playing Sports, doing speeches, going outside, playing with her friends, being active.

Pet Peeves: Stupid people, people who are egotistical, people doing stuff she doesn't like, etc. Also nails on chalkboard and other such sounds. Oh, and people who brag about their kids and/or ignore their kids when they're screaming. Also, people cutting in line.

Desired Role (Main, Secondary, or Tertiary): Main would be nice.

I would love to do this, but I'm a bit confused, because you say ypu need another female activist, but you created one already. Does this mean I can't make a female activist?

Backstory: Raised in a mansion in the beautiful English countryside, twenty miles from London, she had everything she's had everything she could possibly ever want, and more all her life. She was groomed from a young age to be a politician, and now she is the youngest member of the British Parliment ever
Bad Habits: She tends to correct people very embarrassingly for even the smallest mistake.
Favorite Activities: Reading, delegating, talking

Alright, here's a secondary girl neutral!

Name: Jemma Beaumont

Age: 14 (but about to turn 15)

Gender: F

Race: Hooman! (human lol)

Ethnicity: Asian

Appearance: Pale skin, dainty, slim, average height, small eyes and mouth, glossy black hair with loose curls at the bottom, shoulder length, wears high wasted jeans or shorts with a croppish shirt that is pale pink of black and white striped, and sometimes wears a hoodie or sweatshirt. You will also often see her with earbuds in, or headphones.

Personality: Introverted, has only a few friends whom she would trust very strongly, doesn't like conflict. Isn't best at expressing emotion so she does so through music. She's not a mean kind of quiet, because she is shy at first, but she can be friendly. But she's hard to get to trust you. Very curious and loves to explore. She's also very smart.

Background: Is in a very wealthy family, where her father is the owner of a technology institution and her mother is a lawyer. Her family has never had any trouble, or have they.... She is also in advanced calculus and has slight ADHD and OCD.

Bad habits: Fidgeting a lot, daydreaming, correcting people and the teacher

Favourite activities: Listening to music, doing math and science, hanging out with her few friends

Pet peeves: People that are stupid, people that bore her, people that are ignorant and arrogant, bad music, and things that are not organised.

Desired role: I think I'm a SC now.

Charrie Name: Lasvius MacQuoid

Age: 57
 
Gender: Trans male (though doesn't tell anyone, and most think he was born male)
 
Race: Elvish
 
Ethnicity: Scottish (with their wonderful accents! <3 Still, I prefer Irish ones)
 
Appearance: Like every elf, his ears are long and pointed, and his left one is pierced along the edge (I'm not a specialist in ears) from when he was much younger. Lasvius aged quickly, his neat brown hair always combed back from his head already showing flecks of grey, his face wrinkled - though some say that's only from frowning. He is about average height with impeccible posture that often makes him seem larger than he is, and he dresses himself in finery fit for someone of his rank.
 
Personality: Raised in court (or the closest thing to court this world has), Lasvius has very firm beliefs in terms of right and wrong, high and low. He is a man who refuses to yield to anyone else's opinions. Though he is well-known amongst the artistocracy, it's not because of his patience, but rather his stubborness. However, this does not make him a cruel man. Stories of mixed creatures' abuse disgust him, and he has certainly been seen speaking out against that; though he also refuses to talk to anyone but the highest class, and when the Mixed try to come to him for help, he pushes them away with no regret. Only what benefits him is his moral. He will take care of himself, and others can take care of their own problems. 
 
Backstory: Lasvius grew up in court, with the beliefs of his parents hammered into him since day one. Etiquette, behavior, diplomacy - that was his life (when he was still a her). When he came out as transgender, it almost ruined his future, and he came very close to being disowned. Still, he fought twice as hard for himself, kept his gender his most dark secret, and soon rose up to the top again.
 
Bad Habits: He has a tendency to drum his fingers on the nearest surface, be that a cane, his leg, a chair's arm, et cetera. All other habits were drummed out of him long ago.
 
Favorite Activities: Lasvius spends most of his time composing meaningless legal documents, or reading over the ones that others have written, so writing or reading something other than that is always a treat, especially in a nice garden out in the fresh air. He enjoys the most high-class of dinner parties, as long as he's not hosting, and, if he was to be honest with himself, loves doing housework, though he never gets the chance.
Pet Peeves: Elbows on the table is the rule that, when broken, peeves him most; but any rule of etiquette that is ignored will annoy Lasvius. On top of that, he detests when someone clears their throat or coughs to get others' attention.
 
Desired Role: Whichever fits best with the plot!
 
Elite, Activist, or Neutral: Elite - though I hope this does not automatically make him a monster.

Gender (I am comfortable with having trans/fluid genders too): Looks sort of androgynous, but is female.
Race (Human, Elf, Dwarf, or mix): Can she be a drow? They are dark elves with dark grey skin, white hair, and green, red, silver, or purple eyes.
Ethnicity (even Elves and Dwarves have ethnicities based off of ancestry): Drow? Comes from modern-day India, but is a pureblood drow.
Appearance: Pixie cut white hair, lavender eyes. Dark grey skin. Very thin, cute. A face that is very hard to read. Wears casual clothing with galaxy prints and darker colors.
Personality: Very reserved, mysterious. Has an extensive vocabulary. Will only approach you if you are incredibly polite and kind. An observer, sort of off-putting. Has an eldritch vibe. 
Backstory: Comes from a long line of pureblood, morally dubious drow. Wants to break tradition and is trying to be good. She ran away from her family estate and has been doing pretty well doing odd jobs.
Bad Habits: Biting her hand (not her nails, her hand) with nervousness, staring, scowling at very slight inconveniences
Favorite Activities: Reading, watching others, swimming. 
Pet Peeves: Inconsiderate people, haughtiness, people obsessed with trends. Also hates the color pink with a burning passion.
Desired Role (Main, Secondary, or Tertiary): Can I be one of the main activists? Please friend? I have never been a main (good heavens I sound desperate).
