Modern Witches RP (with a slightly different plot from my post on CaC)
Alright. So if you read my earlier post about this, I said there was going to be a single antagonist named Smog, whose sworn enemy was witches. I've changed the plot. Instead, the witches will be having a sort of turf war.
There have been two rival witch clans in Chicago for as long as anyone can remember, Kast and Uvete. The Kast are the ones that built the city- their power is linked to it, and they keep it alive. Their powers are more urban or science-y, I guess- they're the ones in charge of things like electricity, the water from Lake Michigan (which is really important for transportation), weather, etc.
The Uvete, on the other hand, are the flowers that pop up in the sidewalk, the music, the art, the culture. They bring the fun into Chicago, while the Kast have their hands full trying to keep it going.
And both clans think they don't need the other side.
So, the plot of this RP is that the clans are fighting over the area around the mouth of the Chicago river. The Kast want to make it into a major port and need it for transportation/shipping, etc. The Uvete want to make it into a sort-of art district, it's right by Navy Pier and they think that its location would be perfect for a center of culture. Also, Chicage kind of started out there, the first settler built his farm in that area and older lands give the witches more power. Our charries have to find away to get along and stop their clans from killing each other. (at the start of the RP, there's no real violence yet, just tensions) Here is the character sheet.

Name: Jonas Dent
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Clan: The Uvete
Power or Speciality: Music, and making people happy. He heals people by making music without instruments. He can make people feel and see music.
Strengths: Making music, making people happy, staying happy, his kindness. Hardworking.
Flaws: He's rather gullible. He's also INCREDIBLY dense, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. Can be stupid, way too trustworthy of others. Naive, clumsy, not very good at math and science or anything like that. If it doesn't have to do with music, he probably isn't interested in it or isn't good at it.
Appearance: Dark skin, Bright brown eyes, Ruffled dark brown hair. Average height, wears neon sweatshirts and black sweatpants usually.
Personality: Cheerful, always trying to be a better person. Hardworking, kind, but gullible and naive. Idealistic to a fault, and really stupid when it comes to everything else but music. Dense.

Clan: An Ally of the Uvete
Power or specialty: None (non-magic)
Weakness: Doesn't have a power
Strengths (including non-magic talents, if any): Environmentalist, a problem solver, green thumb, good with animals and small children. Marshall is determined and a true fighter.
Flaws: Offended easily, allergic to a TON of foods, self-righteous, proud, sort of conceited.
Appearance: Short, curly dark brown hair; yellowish-brown eyes; brown skin; light freckles. Wears thick glasses, joggers, an olive green bomber jacket, and work boots.
Other: Marshall is friends with a lot of stray cats by his apartment, loves Halloween, fruit-flavored candy (especially skittles) and cheesy horror movies. He is an only child and also likes to have debates with people.

Power or specialty: Art. Urban art is more specific. She loves urban, abstract art and specializes in recognizing and creating it. This fuels a magic for painting and paint-splattering.
Weaknesses: She's scared of squids. They shoot black ink so, yeah. She CANNOT use any other magic beside her own, unless, it's related to art.
Strengths (including non-magic talents, if any): Her powers, obviously. Very good drawer. Can be pretty vicious if her art is ruined. Good at sculpting weapons out of clay.
Flaws: She can sometimes be VERY arrogant and she has a high opinion of herself.
Appearance: Blonde hair, dyed with streaks of bubblegum pink. Shocking green eyes with a tint of purple. Light skin. Usually can be found wearing paint-splattered jeans and a t-shirt with emojis. Her hair is always loose. New, shining sneakers are always on her feet. They're the only part of her that doesn't show art. Has a paintbrush stuck behind her ear at all times.
Other: Love, love, loves nightingales. Because they sing so wonderfully, while her voice sounds like a dying goat. Uses a paintbrush to channel her power. Has a magical palette that serves as a shield sometimes because she enchanted it.
Er, aren't we going to do "Personality?"

Strengths and flaws is personality. You can change them to say personality, but I wrote the sheet this way to avoid Mary Sue characters.

Personality: Pretty cold, until you get to know her. Then she's as open as a book. Very kind. A bit strongheaded.

A Mary Sue is a character who is perfect in every way and has no flaws. She/he can always get his/her companions out of trouble in the nick of time, but is too modest to say so! A lot of times has conflicting adjectives in the personality, like shy yet outgoing. In other words, an utterly obnoxious character, usually OP. Often has a tragic backstory.

Power or specialty: Attack magic (any weapons summonned are lavendar-colored)
Strengths (including non-magic talents, if any): computers, weapons, and being quiet
Flaws: can be closed-minded, moody, and a bit of a pessimist
Appearance: blonde hair that hangs over his eyes, blue eyes, small nose, braces, has a heart-shaped birthmark on his thumb, about 5'1", has a red streak going through his hair
Other: If you saw my TOO MANY PEOPLE thread, you know he is an already existing OC that I HAVE MODIFIED! Usually he's just a computer geek that's really smart.

Lucy, can I ask you to give Jack a real last name? Maybe Jack of Hearts could be his nickname/streetname. I'm just saying this because this RP takes place in modern times and in a real place.
