-Write only one side of a very consequential phone conversation.

-You are Spider-Man. Reply to all your sometimes-irritating, sometimes-heartfelt, always-copious fan mail with a single letter, to be placed in the New York Times tomorrow.

-Write a dramatic blurb like the ones on YA novel dust jackets, except it's about a textbook.

-Find an inspirational quote. Write something in which one character attempts to discourage another using that quote.

-Imagine a scene from the worst sitcom on earth. Correct it.
