CB Disaster Thread!!!

CB Disaster Thread!!!

*Stretches RPing muscles* Ow. It's been a very long time since I've done any roleplaying. So this is a celebratory RP--thing. Celebrating the fact that I can finally do RPs, because I have more frequent--if slightly reduced--computer time.

~~

So, this is something that I've been pondering for quite a while. It's not exactly an RP--although, we will be doing RPing, but we'll also be talking and figuring out problems and things.

*Sighs in exasperation* Here, I'll just give you the explanation of what exactly this is.

~~

It's summer. Beautiful weather, fragrant flowers, no school. The CB is doing fine. It hasn't had a war in months and months, and everyone's getting along nicely...until one day, when a CB without a recognizable identity stumbles into the CB town hall.

He gasps and falls to the floor, utterly exhausted. The CBers jump up and crowd around him, a murmur of questions surrounding them.

The CBer raises his head slightly, his face streaked with dirt.

"The Admins have been kidnapped," he manages to breath, before he slumps to the floor and takes his last breath. It's then that they notice the arrow sticking out of his back, a large stain of dark red soaking into his shirt.

The CBers erupt into chaos, and start shouting at each other to be heard.

"The Admins--"

"He's dead--"

"What will happen without the Admins--"

"We're doomed--"

"What do we do--"

Then a short, brown-haired girl scrambles onto the table and raises her hand as far above her head as she can.

Everyone quiets down and looks at her.

"CBers!" She says, her voice quiet.. "What do we do? We survive, that's what we do. Haven't we survived before?"

She pauses, letting her words sink in. "Why don't we take it into our own hands and rescue the Admins? No one else is going to do it."

A hand pops up out of the crowd, followed by a question. "But where are the Admins?"

The girl smiles eerily. "Well, we're going to find out, aren't we?"

~~

This is part RP, part chat room. We need to find the Admins (BTW, sorry, Admins! I'm just, like, spontaneously kidnapping you.) and rescue them, before anything else tragic happens.

It's kind of like how Kyngdom works--people talk, agree on the best course of action, do some RPing, talk some more--like that.

There isn't a limit to the amount of people that can join, (we'll need all the help we've got!) but I'll start it around May 5th. (Not neccessarily on May 5th.) After that, you can join and we'll "meet" you in the story--and wandering CBer--and you can join our adventure.

So, now that I've explained it all, we can have the charrie sheets--

Charrie Sheet

CB Name:

Age: (if you don't want to say your real age, just pick a random age)

Appearance: (CB appearance or real life appearance)

Personality:

Weapon of choice: (doesn't have to be a weapon, like a sword or bow. It can be--oh, for heaven's sake--a frying pan or something.)

Other:

My Charrie Sheet

CB Name: Leafpool

Age: 11 and 5/8

Appearance: Waist-length light brown hair that is hardly ever waist length because it's always in waves from her braids. Brown eyes; a couple random freckles in random places on her face; pretty short for her age. (Ack, only 4' 3".) Usually wears something fashionable but comfortable. Has kind of tannish/mediumish skin, compared the rest of her family.

Personality: Tries to include everyone, loves social time, tries to control her (awful) temper but it sometimes comes out. Has the very rare disease "bookaddictionitis" which makes her take a 367-page book home from the library at 3:30 in the afternoon, watch a movie from 5:45 to 8:00, go to bed at 10:00, and yet still have it finished by 8:00 a.m. the next day. Will go into hysterical laughter at random things, also tends to jabber on and on until her parents tell her to stop. (A typical 11-year-old.) Also sometimes has random mood swings. (Also a typical 11-year-old.) Loves writing, too.

Weapon of choice: A bow that's slung over her back on a crossbody belt, with a quiver of arrows.

Other: Leads the adventure.

Ooooh, this is exciting! I've never been kidnapped before. I'm anxiously awaiting the outcome. . . .

Moi~

"Alright," I say, repeating myself. "Alright. Let's take this a little slower. Who's blood."

But Inky and Unsuspecting both look at me wide-eyed, and glancing back at Lucy, she looks towards the forest.

"Look," she points out. "There's a light."

I raise an eyebrow and slowly walk up to her, looking in the direction of her finger. I sense Inktail and Unsuspecting behind me.

"But we should try to inspect the blood trail," Inktail declares.

I look behind me but notice that Unsuspecting has already traced it back to the general forest that we are looking in.

I smirk and Inktail and shrug, and she just smiles and rolls her eyes. "Whelp, I guess there's no harm in chasing this blue light now. It's not like it'll lead us straight to a trap or anything."

Ah, sarcasm. She speaks my language.

"Look, we'll be fine," Lucy interjects. "Everyone have their weapons?"

Inktail nods and unsheaths her katana, Unsuspecting holds up her quill pen, Lucy her axe, and I pull out my lightsaber.

"Good," I say. "Let's go."

Trekking through the woods, we find that's it's one of those typical dark woods places. Unsuspecting says outloud that this could be in the depths of the deeper threads in BaB. We all agree, but it's more like an agreeing grunt because our level of focus is sky hi-

My attention is distracted by glowing mushrooms that seem to glow brighter the closer we get to the light source. But the light source is weird. It doesn't seem to be anything dangerous, but it's more like a floating small screen that shows... DARTH VADER AND VOLDEMORT BATTLING?

Someone laughs out loud and another claims Voldemort the winner before the fight is ever over. I think Darth Vader, but the battle continues on and on. Of course. Nondescript Hobbit made it, and the thread died off in their battle, sinking down in the BaB.

But there's something suspicious going on here....

As if on cue, an arrow whizzes past Inktail's silver hair, and we all duck down quickly.

"The same arrow used to kill the first CBer," Unsuspecting mutters.

"Of course," I reply. "This was a distraction. We need to be more careful."

With agreenment, we crawl our way out of the forest, but not the way we came from. We go deeper until we reach a lighter place with birds chirping and elvish music playing.

I jolt up. This is all too familiar.

Of course. It's my BaB thread for the LoTR RP that died and sunk so early on.

Leafmist~

I see Lucy, Killim, and Inktail, followed by a small crowd, running toward BaB.

"What's going on?" I yell. I saw the dead body stumble into the town hall, and heard CBers fussing over the note attached to the arrow he was shot with, but I never got to see what it said. "What's happening?"

"The CBers in BaB are about to be trapped! We have to warn them! Come on!" Nebula yells back. I run with her, all the way to the towering teal gates of BaB. The "Blab about Books" above it carved in crystal glitters in the sunlight. I push open the gates and follow the crowd of CBers inside, dreading what I might see. Some are running out of a building that says "The School for Good and Evil". Blood is spattered on the door. We're too late.

Lucy, Killim, Unsuspecting and Inktail are standing over the blood, discussing what to do.

"We should try to inspect the blood trail."

"Everyone have their weapons?"

"Good. Let's go."

"Hey!" I call. "What's happening?"

"We're about to go through the woods to find where this blood came from." Unsuspecting replies.

"May I come with you?"

"Of course," they say. "Strength in numbers."

I join the four of them, and we set off in the woods.

Suddenly, and arrow whips past Inktail's head, narrowly missing her.

"The same arrow used to kill the first CBer," Unsuspecting mutters.

"Of course," KIllim mutters. "This was a distraction. We need to be more careful." We continue deeper into the forest, until we reach a clearing with birds tweeting and elvish music playing in the distance.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"This is my LotR RP that died..." Killim replies.

~~~
Lucy, Killim, Unsuspecting and Inktail, I hope you don't mind that I joined your expedition in the forest.
"This is my LotR RP that died . . ."  Killm says.
"I think I might've seen it before, but I never really looked into it because I don't really like that stuff,"  I say, confused.  I had no idea wha would be going on in this thread because I never really read the boohks, and the only real part of the movies I saw was the end of the first one.  So apparently this is what Lord of the Rings looks like.
@RP--heh, we had the same idea! I thought that the different threads of the different parts of the CB would be buildings, too! And, by the way, the main villain isn't going to be an actual CBer. He/she'll be a mystery CBer. We can make up his/her identity when we come to meeting him. (If we get that far...mwahaha.)
And I'll post tomorrow! I can't wait to find out--or make up myself--what the mystery attackers will be.
BTW, sorry for the quality of my writing, too. I'm not revising it at all because I only have half an hour during the week, so I'm pressed for time.
@RP
Not cool. I haven't even READ SGE! Please don't make me go out on a full rant. That was not cool, and did not happen. I will write the same chapter from my point of veiw, and without you so RUDELY blackmailing me into a thread for a book I haven't even read!! later, though. My brother has a 2-3 ur long band competition soon, and I apparently HAVE to go.
I'm SO sorry! I didn't think it would be like that. I was thinking about a TOP a month from today. You don't HAVE to do it. Sorry Gen. Waffleson. I just thought you wanted to be introduced. Sorry everyone.
Finally, I can post!
~~
Icy stands in front of me, her hands outstretched as a shield forms around us. A split second before a green-fletched arrow reaches RP, Icy's protective barrier molds seamlessly around us. The arrow hits the ice and splinters.
I stand up, at least as far as I can while keeping a hand on my bleeding leg, and look around. The arrows are still coming, breaking into pieces when they hit the ice shield with small thuds. Danie looks worried.
The then another arrow--this one bigger than the rest--hits the ice, and with a small feeling of panic I notice the ice cracking. Little lines running all along the globe of ice--cracks no wider than a thread.
"ICY--" I yell, and she turns to me, her eyes widening when she sees the cracks. At the same moment, the bushes rustle and the mystery attackers step out of the forest.
Then the whole world falls down around us.
~
The first thing I notice when I wake up is the strong odor of pine needles. Now, in most cases, I like the scent of pine needles. It reminds me of Christmas. But this smell is overwhelming, sickening--it makes me want to throw up.
Then I fell the rope. Strong rope around my wrists and ankles, cutting into my skin. I try to sit up, thanking fate that I took gymnastics and can sit up without my hands--but the world is still hazy around me and I fall back, my mind spinning.
Where are we?
I turn my head slightly to the left, and then to the right, and through my blurred vision I see the others that were with me in the same predicament that I am--tied up, lying on the ground.
I breath in deeply, but then hurriedly breath out again because the pine-needle-scent is so strong.
Is this how we end? We've barely even begun our quest and we already failed.
I bite my lip. Hard. No. We haven't failed. There must be some way to escape from here--wherever here is.
~~
So, I'm thinking we've been captured by our attackers--the pine needles are part of an incense or something that they're burning to keep us unsteady and dizzy--and we need to escape somehow.
Inkypinkie(hehe)-
Something whizzed through the air. I instinctively ducked.
"An arrow."
"The same arrow-"
"-Used to kill the old CBer..."
"My old LOtR thread..." Killim whispered.
"What?" I said.
"Distraction," she said louder.
I rolled my eyes. "Great. Just what we need." I heard the stretch of something and flicked my ears towards it.
"Hush!" I said sharply. The group looked at me in suprize.
Twang! "Duck!" I screamed. A lot of people ducked down. Thwack! An arrow hit a tree. "RUN!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Bushes were pushed down as the stampede of CBers ran through the forest of BaB. Ping! I fell over, tripping a few CBers on the way.
"Leave-just go!" I called ahead. A few stopped, but I waved them on impatiently. The last few concerned CBers ran through the trees, and only then did I attempt to stand up. A severe pain in my knee stopped me in a crouch, and I glanced down. Ouch.
A green arrow was stuck in my knee. I knew I had to get it out, but how...? I went to pull it out, noticing it was barbed. Wincing, I pulled it out, covering my mouth and muffling a scream. Ruffles spread through the bushes.
"Oh..." But before any word could come out of my mouth, something stuck me in the tail. I screeched, whirling around to face my attackers. But nonen were there... I pulled out the barb quickly, but not before whatever grossness was on it took effect. My knee was fine, but my tail was bleeding hard. I pulled a huge leaf off a nearby tree and wrapped it around the cut as the world went blurry.
"No..." I whispered. A huge, blurry figure stood over me, but the world went black.
(Either CBer or NPC. You're choosing, CB!)
~Me, on the beat
"Leave -- just go!"  A voice cries from the back of the group.  Was that -- InkTail?  I turn back for an instant as she looks at the barbed arrow in her knee.
I can't just leave her -- I've never left someone to deal with their own problems, at least not anyone I knew.  So I branch off into the forest one either side of us.  The rest of them are all so busy running that most people don't notice me.  I curve back around to where InkTail is, where another person -- a CBer? -- is standing over her.  His face is covered by a hood on his black cape.
I open my bag, and pull out my book.  I'm reading a hardcover copy of Sophie Someone by Hayley Long.  The plastic cover MIGHT get a little dirty, but nothing a little water can't fix.
I hurl the book at him, and he turns a second too late, and gets a book in the nose.  "Oww!" He says.
Then I jump out of the woods and point one of the blades of my axe at him.  "Who are you?" I ask.  "And what did you want with InkTail?"
"N-nothing, I swear!  Hey, have I seen you somewhere?" He fumbles.
"Um, no, I don't think you have.  Who are you again?"  I say, moving one step closer.
"M-mysterioushood!" He says quickly.  In that instant, I recognize who this guy is.
"Y-you made the 'Last to post wins' thread in 2014.  Why are you here?" I say, lowering my weapon and picking up my book.  "And you know what?  You might just know me.  I've been posting on that thread almost every day for a couple weeks."
"Just go!" INktail shouts at us. She's hurt, and I can't leave her. I run away, but hide behind a near tree, ready to spring into action. A person, possibly a CBer, stands over her. He (or she) is wearing a big black cape, with a hood covering his face. Lucy darts out with no warning and whacks him in the nose with a book.
"Oww!" He shouts.
"Who are you? And what do you want with Inky?" She asks.
"Nothing, I swear! Hey, have I seen you before?"
"No, I don't think so. Who are you?"
"Mysterioushood." he takes off his hood, revealing his face.
"Mysterioushood?" I ask incredulously, stepping out from behind my tree. "What are you doing here?"
"I-I just heard noises coming from BaB, and wondered what was going on."
"You made the 'Last Post Wins' thread in 2014. It's still going, you know. I posted on it a few times last year." I replied.
"I did, but what does that have to do with the chaos in BaB?"
"It doesn't, I guess, I was just pointing that out." I say.
"We're not really sure what's going on in BaB." Lucy says. "We were in the town hall, when a Cbers stumbled in with an arrow in their back. Attached to the arrow was a note saying to 'trap them in BaB'. We all ran there, to find blood spattered everywhere. Inktail, unsuspecting, Leafmist, Killim and I were following the trail of the blood hen we ran into you."
Lucy and Mysterioushood continue talking while I crouch down to Inktail.
"Are you alright?" I ask.
"Yes," she nods. "The arrow just hit me knee. I pulled it out. It's fine."
"You're bleeding," I notice. "Here, let me help." I pull off my pack and open it up. Inside I keep a bandage and some antibacterial ointment, just for situations like this. Sometimes the CB gets dangerous, with all the fights during role plays and such. I squirt some of the ointment on the bandage and wrap it around Inky's knee. "There. Good as new."
"Thanks," she half smiles.
