On the fateful day of September 11, 2001, at 3:21 p. m., a loop was created in New York, NY in the United States of America. Miss Red-Tail was a young ymbrine who could turn into a Red-Tailed Hawk. She was also the ymbrine who created the September 11 loop.
You open the door one day, and you see a young woman with bright red hair and deep brown eyes. She tells you, "Come, peculiar, to the New York loop. There you will find those like you. Though many may call you a misfit, there is no one quite like you."
Confused, you follow her, you parents having gone to work (or wherever else they may have gone) You think, "It couldn't possibly take that long. Surely I will be back home before my parents." She leads you to an abandoned storefront, and you suddenly feel a sense of dread. The woman ahead of you opens the door, and steps inside.
"Come along, now. The others are waiting!" she says excitedly, and you, not wanting to disappoint her, follow.
You suddenly feel something different about you, and you look around the store, and it is no longer abandoned. You follow her to a room in the back of the store, and you watch as she opens an almost invisible door. You feel that surely she wouldn't want you to go in, but after she says, "Come along now," you think that it couldn't possibly be much trouble.

Yep, we're doing a Peculiar RP! If you don't know anything about the "Miss Penegrine's Home For Peculiar Children" series, it's basically about a group of children who have peculiar powers and talents (i. e. Fiona can grow plants at will, Enoch can bring dolls to life by giving them living hearts, Hugh has bees living inside him, etc.) that give them advantages and disadvantages. They do NOT look like they age when they are inside their loop, but they actuallly do age.

Personality: Mature for her "age," cautious, worries a lot, scared of her old self, trusting, weak-willed, smart, introverted, melancholy
Appearance: Blonde, brown lowlights, large, pale-blue eyes, pale, about 5' 1", sad-looking, wears a white shirt with red stains on the collar surrounded by light pink, has scars above her eyes where they were fixed

Crush/relationships with other peculiars: I want her to have one, but I'll post them later
Backstory: She was previously a wight, but was nearly killed in a fight between she and some other Hallowgast and wights in which the hallowgast wound up eating her eyeballs. She didn't die as peculiars usually do without their eyes, but instead was given new eyes from Enoch and continued as a "good" peculiar. Left Miss Penegrine's group so she wouldn't endanger the group.
Other: as a wight, her hair was brown with bloody streaks and a collor stained with red

Name: Richard Sagan, goes by Rick.
Year when entered loop: 2003
Age when entered loop: 15
Current Age: 29
Power/Talent: Can teleport to any place that he can see.
Personality: Kind, light-hearted, values the needs of others over acheivment. Generous, but often stressed. Will teleport somewhat sparodically if too nervous. Very curious, which sometimes makes him a bit nosy.
Appearance: Black hair that he is blowing out of his eyes constantly, brown eyes the color of melted chocolate, likes to wear black, jeans. Has a scar on his left cheeck from a car accident that killed his mother.
Any Special item?: Nope.
Crush/relationships with other peculiars: uhhh... I dunno!
Backstory: His mother (who was pecculiar, by the way) died in a car accident when he was 9, which left him to live a life alone with his father, who soon became angry and broody. He would sometimes teleport to a small cave for days at a time, and it soon became his second home. His father would not care about his disapearances, prefering to mope in his 'study' than care about his son.

Power/Talent: Her drawings come to life
Personality: creative, silly, MAJOR art historian, intellectual, athletic, loves the 2001 loop, even though she's only been there for a year, hates snobs, can dance like a beast
Appearance: Medium-length ginger hair, has amber eyes, about 5'6", tanned, always wears a pencil necklace, looks really angeic but draws a lot of people who like to mess with others.

Backstory: Basically me, except she has no friends and doesn't go on Chatterbox. (a. k. a. has been drawing forever and all the AEs that she draws hang out with her and everyone thinks she's weird because she talks to her drawings)
Other: She has a main AE drawn in a cartoon style named June. She's obnoxious and annoying and crazy. You can include her. She's about 5 inches tall.

Power/Talent: She can heal or hurt any person she wants
Personality: Scarlet is scared of herself, of her amazing ability to cause pain on anyone she wants. Learning to control herself after wreaking harm on people, she's become tough, determined, and not very sensitive at all (meaning she doesn't get caught up in sad events). She's also brave, bold and selfless. However, everyone has a breaking point and when Scarlett realizes all the people she's harmed, she's going to have a very difficult time making sense of it.
Appearence: Black hair. She's noticable, and she has rosy cheeks. Her hair is up to her shoulders, with side bands on one side of her face, and curls at the tips. She's tall height, but not really tall....so just a little taller than average. She has brown eyes, and wears tight jeans, mid-height boots, a tight pink sweater or shirt, and with a pretty short (but not right on her neck, a little below) necklace

Crushes: I want her to have one
Backstory: Her parents are not peculiar, but her little sister, Aubrey, is. Aubrey can become smaller or bigger at different times. Like really small or big. They're distant from their parents because their parents don't know anything of their pecuilarness. Because of this, they often stick together and are very close.
Other: Can Aubrey be a secondary character in this, and also be in the loop with Scarlett?

Well, commonly, loop peculiars are children, besides the ymbrine, but the wights' loop (Library of Souls - book 3) is mostly adults, obviously.
