Science Fiction.

Science Fiction.

I recently went on a trip to New York City and brought two collections of science fiction (one from 1940-1960, one from 2015) with me. Science fiction is so cool! Anyone else like writing or reading it? One of my favorite new ones I found is called "Cat Pictures Please", one of my favorites old ones is "It's A Good Life".

I even tried my own hand at writing something called "Reasons I Love the Rain", and if anyone would like to read it I could post it. :D

Anyways, this is somewhere we can talk about what the collections referred to as SF/F (science fiction/fantasy)!

I am writing sci fi right now.

There is this old radio drama, X Minus One, that has some good stories.

I tried to write a Sci-Fi story when I was in second grade, and it failed miserably.  It was in a diary format, and it was in the point of view of a girl named Ana.  She had a friend named Melody and they were supposed to go on an expedition away from an extremely overpopulated Earth.  The two, amongst many others, left on a star ship, but after that, the story never really got anywhere and it was just basically the Ana blabbering on about how excited she was to explore a new candidate for another Earth.

I could try my hand at Sci-Fi now, but I'm not sure it would come out well.
