Okay, so this may seem a little bit corny or something, but if you're a big fan of Marvel (YAY! I am) or D.C. (Eh. Not so much), you probably like the different character's powers. Well, in this RP, you are a normal teen but you are taken away to this training camp to become a super-hero to fight, um, let's say something along the lines of HYDRA or the jolly on the road evil company created by Lex Luthor.
This Academy helps you to strengthen your powers and will prepare you for a battle against um, let's call it Neo-HYDRA for now. You will meet many people with powers there, but at first you'll think you're at a normal boarding school in a cold, cloudy place. Then you discover werid things starting to happen....
Here are the list of powers:
Invisibility/Force feilds (those two seem to always go together, so why not?)
Components (water, fire ice, wind, earth, all that)
Super strength (literally can lift a builiding off of the ground)
Super speed (think the Flash)
Cyborg (Teen Titans? If not, you're a robot and person with weapons inside and attached to you)
Light/Dark (can bend light and can make darkness)
Shapeshifting (quite explanetory. You can't shapeshift into a lizard or ox for some reason, though)
Mind reading/telepathy (but you don't do mind-reading around friends because of privacy issues)
Healing (you can heal any wound)
Unexplainably smart (Literally, like scary smart, and slightly physcopathic)
Regeneration (you can regenerate from a flesh wound but not from old age. A weirder power, but the enemies won't know about it)
Electricity (All I can say is...whoever gets on your bad side...OUCH!)

Power: She can create illusions out of thin air (she can sometimes be an illusion, i.e. walk through walls), fly, and through protective shards of kinda glass as a defence (the shards are not her strong suit, though, and she's working on it).
Weaknesses: Sometimes she can't focus and will zone out, and that can be a weakness because one time she passed out over a long period.
Appearance: She has a little shorter curly blonde hair that are wavy curls that have light brown and lighter blonde streaks in them. She'll usually wear it down or pull the sides back. She has very pale skin and lots of freckles that can be seen on her arms, face, etc. She's slim, and she did very recently turn 18 (I'll start RPing on her birthday). She has big hazel eyes and likes to smile. She will wear a dark outfit that all seems to melt together (illusion) because of the cloak and hood that covers it when she thinks in her room. When she is outside of her room and in her school, she will usually wear a black hoodie, crimson pants, and short socks that have cats on them or completely black Converse. However, when she goes out and tries to act like a normal person, she'll wear a scarf, beret, a shirt with a cardigan, jeans, and laced boots or Brogues.
Personality: She's literal, smart, and is very observant. It takes a particular type of person to like her, because she can be arrogant. However, like I mentioned earlier, she will be in her own world at times. Like in Sherlock, sometimes when she is thinking about one problem and one problem only, she will cover the walls of her dorm room with what she is thinking about. What helps her is her music. She won't be seen without her earbuds.
Background: She was adopted into a wealthy family that owned a tech and innovation company, and she was sent to a boarding school, or this Academy. That's pretty much it, and I'll develop more later.
Other: Like I mentioned, she loves music. Her character is also open to shipping/relationship.

Here. I would create my own power, but I haven't gotten an answer yet.
Real Name: Penny Jamis
Superhero Name: Pixels
Age: 18
Gender: F
Power: Normally, she would be a gamer girl (creates things relating to gaming using various magical game controllers), but since I can't choose, she's a cyborg.
Weakness: She can short-circut if she gets water inside her system, and if too much gets in, it can drown her from the inside.
Appearance: Half her head is machine. Her living eye (let's call the non-robotic parts of her body living, and the roboticparts robotic) is green with a tinge of brown at the edge. her robotic eye is a camera that is wired directly to her mind. Her small nose is living, and so is her mouth. The living half of her head has golden-brown hair, and the robotic part is copper-colored and wiry. Her left arm is all robotic, and it's sorta messed up from her toying with it in her spare time. She always wears a blue shirt on her living side with the left armhole cut out. The shirt has a cube on it with the letter P inside it.
Personality: Hates her hair. Literal and analyical (The left side of her brain is robotic) and is usually nice to most people. Can sometimes use her cyborg powers to her advantage -- she can do difficult math problems without a calculator or any difficulty. She does relax and shut down her left brain every evening, and draw for a while. She finds her drawings very good, and hangs them on her walls.
Background: Before she was a cyborg, she was an orphan in an overfilled orphanage in which she had lived for as long as she remebered. On an annual doctor's visit, she was found to have a brain tumor and a cancer in her arm. Soon after they were discovered, she had surgery to get her infected parts removed and replaced with her robotic parts. She got bored in the hospital, so she started toying with her arm, and used her left brain's newfound power to add weaponry and tools into empty, unused compartments.
Other: She can also solve STEM and STEAM (STEM is science, technology, engineering, and math, and STEAM is science, technology, engineering, art, and math) problems with her mind powers.

Power: electricity or whatever
Weakness: IF any water gets into her body through her nose (yes, it happens, and yes, it hurts. It happens to me a LOT) or is she is doused in water completely, she will -- well, what do you think will happen? -- the electrocutes herself.
Not fixing the appearance because it'll be just the same but the roboticd parts are human.

Yes, I has to be from the list, and I'm sorry, cyborg is already taken. Since you already took time in making your charrie, I think the second best option might be electricity? Your choice.

Superhero Name: Wildfire (She just likes the sound of it.)

Female
Power: Mind Reading/Telepathy, so she can also talk to other people inside her head.
Weaknesses: If she didn't try so hard not to, she would hear almost everybody's thoughts from a mile away. She tries to stay closed off, however it takes a lot of her energy and sometimes she can become so stressed she lets go, sending a huge sound shock/boom that will hurt. After this happens she is usually to exhausted to continue.
Appearance: Long Ash brown hair dyed pale red at the tips(To fit in with the theme of Wildfire), usually tyed into a braid or one of those bun braid thingymajigs. She's usually wearing something bright and colorful and rather fashionable, like a cropped t-shirt with a neon band name on it and some jean shorts.
Personality: She tries to stay happy most of the time. Adventerous, friendly, and very blunt. Can be rather insensitive but usually doesn't mean to. Vain, sensitive, and can be become stressed quite easily. She usually bubbles in all her emotions inside of her, which can sometimes lead her to explode. She's usually pretty nice but rather stupid and can jump into things too quickly. I'll develop this better, its a bit hard to explain.
Background: She did pretty bad in school due to her weakness and her parents were pretty surprised when she was invited to the academy.
Other: Likes neon colors, which explains the clothing.

I lie, bored out of my mind, on my bed where I bounce a bounce a ball back and forth on the ceiling. Eventually I implode the ball, and Katherine comes in.
"What was that?!" she exclaims.
I look down at the yellow rubber shards left of the ball on the dark wood floor. "I'm bored."
"Obviously! Anyway, come down, it's time for dinner."
I leap up and strut out of the door when she stops me.
"Wait, your arm is bleeding. Must have been the explosion."
I shrug. "Who cares? I'm hungry. Let's go."
She rolls her eyes and heals it within seconds.
I take my hand back from her as we walk through the halls.
As we arrive at the cafe, I realise that we're early for once. All of the other students are acting strangly, like Syllia who is catching trays on fire, Tyler who's making some light bulbs flicker, Alina who's messing with one of the ceiling lights by turning it on and off, Aidan's shifting to a cheetah and running into things, Penny who is causing lightning to shock on Sadie, and Mellie who is sitting, staring at one of the professors, probably reading their minds again. I'll ask her if we have a test.
Another normal day, and another normal lunch until the daily fight where one person insults the other somehow. Last week it was Tyler and Aidan. I wonder who it'll be today.

The mess is usually pretty crowded, but today seemed to be an exeption. Nothing was really happening, so I decided to just mess with the lightbulbs. Nothing big, just a simple electric discharge to the mainframe. Suddenly a fireball whizzes pats my head. Sylla is taking a pick a fight with me again. I turn around and look her in the eyes. "Cut it out." I say. She prepares another fireball in her hand. I don't want another fight, the one with Aidan yesterday was bad enough, But I stand up anyway. "Are you sure you want to do this?" I ask.
