CBer Scool RP!

CBer Scool RP!

LilyPad flipped through the pages of her schoolbook, not able to concentrate on anything at the time being. She flopped back on her bed, letting out a sigh as she landed on her messy pillow, listening to the poof sound it made when air was released. She tried to remind herself that everyone would be nervous, just not as nervous as her. First day in a new house, a new school. 7th grade can be harder than you think.

Lily was interrupted from her thoughs as her mum called her name from down stairs. "Hurry up, Lily!" Said Mum, impatiently opening the front door with a bang. LilyPad picked up her already packed school bag and headed down stairs, the butterflies in her stomach seeming to triple in weight.

So, pretty self explanatory, anyone can join, but we'll all start in 7th grade,  so we'll pretend everyone is the same age. CB Name: GreenMango(Mango for short)

Age: Um, well in this I guess I would be 11, since it is 7th grade and usually when school starts I turn the "right age" about three days afterwards.

Gender: Girl

Personality: Shy at first, but really energetic when you get to know me. Thinks a lot about life, the universe, and generally everything. I am reflective, I guess, and I stress out a lot about school-work and tests. Kind, cares about nature a lot...um, I don't really know how to describe myself well.

Appearance: Short, tan skin, extremley skinny. Chocolate eyes, dark, straight hair that is cut very short, but tends to curl around my ear. I have pierced ears, but I only ever really wear small studs. Gigantic backpack, gray shoes, loose jeans, bright T-shirts.

Grades? Always, really high As due to the amount of work and stress that goes into schoolwork. I find language arts and science boring because I don't learn anything new and it is the same repeated material.

Friends: I suppose you could say a decent amount of friends, with a few really close friends.

Other: I get up early to finish cooking my lunch, finish any school-work, read, drink tea, and think.

Getting up early despite not getting enough sleep due to worrying, Mango turned on the kettle, hoping her family wouldn't wake up at the noise and disturb the serenity of the sunrise. Putting together some oatmeal and cutting a grapefruit, she brought her food to a small, stone table next to a window. As she watched the sunrise, she couldn't help but worry yet again what the first day would be like. Mango finished her food quickly, as the butterflys in her stomach wouldn't alow her to enjoy it, or the sunrise.

"Mango, get ready!", said Mango's dad, who had apparently woken up.

"I'm already ready, dad! Where's mom?"

"Already left for work."

Mango sighed, and after a failed attempt to distract her from the worries of a new school, she chose a few more books to add to her already heavy backpack.On the way to the bus-stop, she picked up a bright yellow flower, and walked as slowly and quietly so as not to disturb the nervous squirles. But, yet again, she was the first one to the bus-stop, the first on the bus, and thankfully sitting in an empty seat.

Sorry it is long, and sort of awkward and clunky.

Sorry I haven't posted, I'm getting a liiiiitle too many Rps on myself.

As in 3000000000000

Sure.

ANYWAYS! HERE'S THE CHAPTER!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As
I close the door behind me, I feel energized. First day at another new
school! As I walk to the bus stop, I see a bunch of other CBers waiting
at the bus stop. I pick up the pace, and stop when I get to the bus
stop. I don't recognise anyone, but I still wave and say hello. As the
bus pulls in, I see one last CBer hurrying up to get to the stop. As she
comes into veiw I see that this is one I do recognise. I saw her
yesterday when I was walking my dog. I think her name is... Clouded
Leopard. She stops from her run, pauses, and then walks over next to me. She catches me staring, and glances at me sideways.
"Hi!"
She continues glancing sideways at me.
"hi..."
"Late for the bus?"
"Yeah, glad I got here on time." She says, panting slightly.
"Clouded Leopard, isn't it?" I ask.
"Correct. And you are?"
"General
Waffleson," I say, holding out my hand, "Leader of the Waffleson army."
She stares at my hand with a look of puzzlement. "You shake it." She nods,
shakes my hand, and then I hear the hiss of the bus door closing. Crap! I start to run
towards the door, but it's too late. I missed the bus. And I made Cloud
miss it too. I look at her sheepishly. "Sorry..."
Was this too controlling?
I personally think that's ok, nice, General Waffleson.
As I sit and chat with the two friends sitting opposite me, I notice a small, skinny, short, brown haired girl sitting, alone at the back of the bus. She looks a bit unsure what to do, so I summen all my courage and give her a small smile and a wave. She smiles back, uncertainly, then turns her gaze away to peer out the window. I shrug and turn back to my new friends. I tried my best.
I'm sorry if this sounds too controling, GreenMango, but you can always change your mind and do something else, if that's ok. Thanks!
That’s okay, I think there has to be a certain amount of controllingness (did I just make up a new word) for the story to work.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The butterflies inhabiting Mango’s stomach had refused to go
away. This is our permanent home now, it felt like they were telling her. It didn’t
help that she had just missed an opportunity to make a friend. On the bus,
someone had smiled and waived at her, and though Mango had smiled and waved
back, she was too surprised to do anything and had just gone back to staring out the window meditatively, and the girl
went back to chatting with her friends. So much for that. Breathing deeply, and
pushing the thought out of her mind, she looked down at her schedule and map,
trying to find out where she was.  Mãe
(mom in Portuguese) had been too impatient to let Mango explore the new campus
and find out where all of her classes were during open house. It didn’t help
her sense of direction that she was worried about whether or not she would have
any friends. Mango was shorter than almost everyone here, and apparently the
only one that had no clue where she was.

“Mango, you better go ask someone where your class is or
you’ll be late for Science class,” muttered Mango to herself, and then thought:
and stop muttering to yourself, people will think you’re weird.

Steeling her nerves,
she walked up to someone and said, “Excuse me, I’m sorry, but do you know where Science is?” Mango looked down and noticed she was still holding the yellow
flower.

“Yep, its over there, first classroom in the hallway.”

“Thanks!” Hastily dropping the flower, Mango started to fast
walk in the direction the person had pointed to, her sea-turtle key chains
bouncing on the strap of her giant blue backpack.

“Hang-on, I have Science now too, we could walk together,” called
out the stranger, who looked friendly enough and oddly a little familiar, causing Mango to stop with a
lurch due to her backpack.

This is a good opportunity to
make some friends thought Mango, it was also nerve-racking, but necessary. So
she nodded, turned around, and hesitantly said, “Sure, what’s your name?”

This can be anyone.

I kept listening to the music as I got off the bus, a G note played and I knew what the song was. Welcome to the black parade by MCR. I whispered the lyrics to myself as I walked into the science room and sat down. Looking around the room, still saying the lyrics.
