Fun free-verse poetry time!
This is the spot for fun poetry! Nothing romantic or ponderous. Sorta like Shel Silverstien!

*runs into room* *pulls open drawer thingie* *grabs old, red poem book* *flips through it to find the poems that don't really make sense* *finds them*
Okay, here are some nonsensical poems.
Bob has a bob cut,
Bob has a bob sled,
Bob rides the bob sled,
as he gets a bob cut,
and eats a (vegeterian) shishca-bob.
I know, that's one of my Dr. Seussish poems.
It just so happened that Sara Lee Woe,
she didn't have a big toe,
and the bridge of her foot was a litlle to low,
so she walked a little to slow,
when she fell, her little brother, Sam pee Woe,
said oh, no, your toe,
and the bridge of your foot that's a little to low.
Okay, that's all I'm gonna do now. Getting a little long. And I am starting to get a song in my head that I heard when I was in yoga this morning.
These poems are to be continued...

Plant Poem
planted it in dirt
looked at it everyday
for progress
because
up
up
up
as the plant goes
up
goes my pride with it
(May 26, 2009 - 9:47 pm)
AHHHHHHHHH it did not come out right: As the plant goes up up up , up goes my pride with it! Eesh!

Apology poem: This is a project for English class, though it needs editing:
I'm sorry that I shunned you, turned my face away when you walked by,
you never did anything wrong, and looking at your innocent face crumpled, makes me want to cry,
Laughing with our other friends, making nasty comments, laughing to hard at their degrading observations
See you looking at me with a hatred that needs no clarification
Feel your eyes boring into my back, begging "talk to me, look at me", I turn back and make a face, and walk off laughing
But now the heat and friction in our glances are hurting my heart, smashing
What happened to those lovely days of joking, lying back in the grass together?
Forgive me, please, the fault is mine for breaking a friendship the would have lasted forever.
Friendship has it's ups and downs, but I have stooped lower than ever before, to snicker with those who are phony
Having been cast aside by the ones that I deserted you for, I ask for one thing, and one thing only:
Forgive me.
I had a fight with Kake recently, so I'm going to put this in her locker tomorrow. Thoughts? I know that it's not the best, but I don't really have a talent for writing poetry...

Wow! That was fast! HI ADMINS! (if I am on at the same time as you...)
(June 1, 2009 - 8:42 pm)
Whoa, that was good! I can totally relate to it.
(June 2, 2009 - 4:28 pm)
Do you think so? I think it's missing something...not quite what it could be. Oh well.

I love what it's about, Koffee! (Or, er, Kofi!) There's a book about that called Speak. It's a relatively good book about a girl named Melinda. It's like your poem, a bit :)

Here's another one: (Once again for English class) it's called "if"
If you can always have a shoulder to cry on, whenever I start feeling sad,
If you will laugh at my jokes, even when they’re really, really bad,
When you can weather the ups and downs, learn how to hold on longer,
Learn that what doesn’t kill us can only make us stronger
If you can stand up for me when others laugh and point
If you can say no when a “cool” kid offers you a joint
If you will stand by me when fights amongst us start
If you will keep a place for me in your heart
If you are loving, caring, tried and true
If you comfort me when I’m feeling blue
If you’ll stick with it till the very end
Then I might let you be my friend.
Please no copying! I worked hard on this one...you can copy the other one, I don't care about it :D:D:D Copyrighted by Koffee Kup on June 3 (???), 2009 :D:D:D
(June 3, 2009 - 7:37 pm)
That one is excellent too. I hope everything clears up between you and Kake if you're still fighting. :)
