My First Solo

My First Solo Write!

OK, this is my first time doing a solo write! But I know I can do it!

You are a gryphon, a young gryphon. You live in a time of great peril, your homland is being invaded my evil birds called the Snides. (More on those latter). The world is full of fear, because where ever the Snides land, the trees rot and the flowers die.

Name: Nika Snikk 

Personality: loud, outspoken, fierce isn't afraid to speak her mind. 

Aperance: small gryphon, golden-brown head, big sharp amber eyes, feathers have flashes of black in them, honey-brown talons, and a golden body.

Other: Training to be a Defender.

IMPORTANT! THERE ARE ONLY GOING TO BE FIVE MAIN CHARTERS INCLUDING ME! FIRST COME FIRST SERVEd! IF YOU AREN'T ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE COMING THEN YOU WILL GET A MINOR PART! 

No bad guys, sorry but you all will have to be the good guys. Also I need TWO gryphons to be in an outpost defending against the Snides. Like before, only the first two people who's post I read will get to be the Defenders.  

Also! The first post when we start will be the PROLOG. In the next post you will all be mentioned. Hopfully I will be able to post every other day.

Personality:  Brave, gullible, silly, takes, like NOTHING seriously unless they slap her in the face or something, Smart, Creative, outspoken amongst friends, but not amongst people she doesn't know very well. . . like me, I guess.

You were outspoken with me, but I guess that that's because you IRL buddy made me.

Appearance:  Turquoise eyes, orange-yellow talons, golden feathers, dim orange body, always has a prankster-like spark in her eyes and a smirk on her face.

Other: We found a CAPTCHA like two weeks ago and we still don't know what to name it!  Lucy already made a thread that's a contest to get her a name.  SHE'S A LYNX IF THAT HELPS!!

Name : Healcast

Personality : kind, shy, wise in little ways, a pushover but cares deeply for all the Gryphons under her careful care.

Appearance : a white Gryphon with an snowy owl's head, a jet black beak, and wide light blue eyes. Small for a Gryphon. Her claws are dipped in an array of colorful paint, and she has a pouch of healing items around her neck. 

Other: training to be a Healer in an outpost.

Icy, your character will have a minor part and I'm sorry to say will need to have an eagle head. Annabeth C once again you need to change your human to a gryphon. If you don't do it soon you will not be in the story. Micearenice still waiting on your charrie post. Hopefully we can start some this week.

Sure! You can post your appearance anytime you want, I've got big plans! And a good ending!! Micearenice still waiting for your charrie. I'm going to post the first post tomorrow, it's going to be a prologue so only one character will be there. In the next post I'll do more! Don't be sad if your character doesn't appear in the first or second post! I will make sure everyone is in there!

Fisrt Post!
Prologue  
When the moon is dark, with no stars showing, with a clear night, a colony of squishy black eggs were hatching A beak breaks threw the shell, followed by a black head. Its beak was long, sharp and jagged.The dull eyes sparkled with unquestionable intellect. Its long neck lead down to a body that was long and thin, covered in greasy, ragged, black feathers. The wings are one and a half feet long, and will get bigger as they grow. Their legs are long and gangly ending in sharp talons, made for ripping and tearing into the flesh of their prey.
The Snike Queen raised her ugly head and called her scouting troops, the land that they had stolen was blackened by the thirst and hunger from their race. Like a dark cloud they flew to find new land, covering the moon and stars as they flew.
Soon the troops came to a fresh green land. Trees covered the land as far as they could see, but in the distance they saw huge mountains. Unknown to the Snikes they had found the land of the gryphons.
The gryphons would of never known of this threat had a family not gone to visit the mother's parents. They were traveling though the night when the father was struck by a Snike. Their just fledged daughter watched as her father fell to earth, crashing through trees, his eyes turning dull and blood pouring from his neck. The mother let out a screech of pain and dove after her husband, carrying her unnamed daughter and unhatched egg. They landed in the mud at the bottom of the forest. She stuffed her daughter in a rotting tree just before the Snikes landed to finish the job. The child watched her mother fight the strange birds, until she too was killed. The Snikes took the egg and flew away, leaving the corpse to rot. The child ran out to her mother.
"Be brave my Nika Snikk" the mother croaked. Which translates to 'Little Fighter' from Gryphon.
