I haven't really joined any RPs for a long time, and I can't find any to join, so I am starting one myself! This is based off one that I tried to make a long time ago, but I nobody joined it and it fell to the back pages.
Plot:
It's 2320. It's supposed to be the New Golden Age, and for most people, it is. Most of Europe, all of America, and some other bits are living in paradise. No poverty, no disease, perfect. Right? But the government is extremely corrupt.
You live in the Pacific Islands. That's where the government "recruits" children ages 11-18 and ships them off to a training camp in Japan for the army.
You'd think your family would just move, right? But emigration is strictly monitored by the government, and you're basically trapped on the island, living in a futuristic horror story.
Why are the children being "recruited" for the army?
In the northernmost part of Russia, a monster is waking. The result of a science experiment that went wrong, it is gigantic, potentially dangerous, and indestructable. The children are trained in the camp, then sent to Russia to join the resistance army.

Appearance: small with long brown hair and freckles
Personality: Fun and outgoing, can be friends with anyone if she try's hard enough
Special Skills: (optional) Is really good at martial arts.
Family: Orphan
Backstory: Lived at the orphanage for her whole life until she was recruited to joi the army

Gender: Male
Appearance: Tousled dark brown hair, brown eyes, tall and muscular. His eyebrows have a little twist in them, so he always looks kind of quizzical.
Personality: Tries to make te best of everything, but can get discouraged sometimes. He likes to tinker with things, and can fix stuff almost anytime.
Special Skills: (optional) He is handy with tools.
Family: Just his dad, who taught him how to use tools.
Backstory: He had a mother and older sister, but they died within months of each other when he was seven, and he's lived with his dad ever since.

Appearance: Fair skin. She has long black hair that shines blue in the sunlight. Her eyes are a strange shade of orange and her hair is almost always up in a ponytail.
Personality: Normally, she is very warm and open to others, but sometimes she just can't stand being around another human being. She is timid, surprisingly. She also is artistic and writes in her journal. Very intelligent for her age. Honestly, she's the sweetest person you can meet.
Special Skills: She is amazing with katanas and can actually speak Japanese.
Family: Her brother.
Backstory: Her parents were murdered when she was young. Her older brother had become her father and they are as close as they can get.
Other?: If shipping is allowed, she is willing but will be hesitant and timid.

Special Skills: He wants to become a Doctor when he grows up. He always carries a medkit, and knows how to treat minor injuries.

Backstory: His father died when he was 7, and his mom is a nurse at the understaffed local hospital.
