Hey can anyone give me an idea about a story?  I'm stuck and all I have is this;

John woke to the patter of his sisters feet on the linoleum.

There are innumerable possibilities; it all depends on what and how you want to write.

Personally, though, my suggestion would be to add an apostrophe to "sisters."
