So I just had this great idea that I'm turning into a book for nano and then decided Why not make it an RP? So ya, :)
A war has been raging between the Royal's and the Rebels ever since king Scorching came to the throne, bringing his dragging thirst for revenge along with him.

Ya it's short, just ignore it. :) so the royal's are how you would normally describe gryphons, Eagle/hawk head-variable body.
The rebels however are pretty much every mishmash you can think of. From hummingbird head and lemming body, to owl head and snow leapord body. Be imaginative!
Rules & Info
~Royals~
The royals are the kings and queens of Fyrrlae, usually dressed in gold and lace and housing themselves in lavish palaces and castles. King scorching and his queen, queen Scarlett have lived in absolute luxury all their lives. Leaving the dirty work for their kyndom and slaves.
King scorching especially prides himself in his prisoners, either making them fight in his battle arena or displaying them in his throne room for all to see.
Rules for being a Royal~
1. If you didn't get the hint Royal's are snobby disloyal petty little brats who care about no one but themselves. Please fit this personality if you want to be a royal.
P.S. everyone who disagrees with King Scorching are at best tortured to their deaths, thats why most of the royal kyndom stay on his side.
2. Appearance MUST be the head of an eagle/hawk, no exceptions.
3. No hybrids outside of the arena. I said outside of the arena. If you would like to be a royal-rebel mix I'm totally OK with that, just remember you have to fight;)
4. Prince/princess slots are unlimited, but remember, be snobby.
~Rebels~
Queen cress of the rebels has never drawn back from a fight, especially when her kyndom is on the line. With most of the rebels villages and trading posts ransacked the kyndom has been forced further into the wilderness, anyone loyal to cress is threatened with persecution from the royals and to make things worse without a descent supply of prey rebel numbers are dwindling. The army is weak from lack of recourses and the royals aren't drawing back, no matter what the rebels try-
Rules for being a rebel~
1. I know a lot of you will want to be a rebel and I don't blame you so I'll allow everyone to make 2 charries if they so wish. BUT one of them HAS to be a royal.
2. As I said before, be imaginative with your appearence. Hummingbird,duck,swan whatever:)
note: if you make a gryphon with a hummingbird head and a lemming body then the gryphon wil be the size of a lemming, if it has the head of a seagull and the body of a tiger it will be the same size as a tiger.
Capiche? Capiche.
3. All able bodied rebel gryphon's are in the war, a few stay behind to take care of chicks and heal the wounded but that's it.
4. Queen cress accepts all the help she can get so royals fighting for the rebels is totally fine.
Some info~
Though most of Fyrrlae is participating in the war there is smabbering of gryphon's who have removed themselves from the fued, grouping together to form the talons of peace
(I couldn't think of anything better OK)
Theyre goal is to stop the war for good though some think they're only strengthening it...
Rule for everything~
1. For know no magic though I'll probably change my mind.
2. Fyrrlae is host to all sorts of magical creatures-dragons unicorns sprites you name it.
3. No being op. Pretty normal prosedgure.
4. Always have fun. Or else.....

Rebel/Royal: Rebel
Appearance: Short eared owl head and feathered chest, tattoos bleeding down neck and into wings, ocelot body and tail, about the size of a snow leapord.
Personality: Sarcastic and stubborn, loyal only to queen cress and her followers. Hates the royals with all her heart and soul.
Location: Was captured from battle by the royals, is now at the arena fighting for her life.
Strengths: incredibly agile and quick, a very fast learner

Appearance: Falcon head, jackal body
Personality: Reserved, quiet. Calculating. Very smart.
Location: Arena
Strengths: Very smart, keeps secrets well, excellent fighter

Appearance: Lion body/tail/legs, Cedar Waxwing head (it's a bird ;>)
Personality: Quiet, shy, loyal to Queen Cress, caring and kind, sister to Ocean(doesn't know it)
Location: Is about to be captured and fight in the arena. Can I have more info about the arena please?
Strengths: Excellent eyesight, slightly speedy, and very witty and smart.

Appearance: Lion body/tail/legs, Victoria Crowned Pigeon(w/ blue plumage-another bird, look it up, they are super pretty) head.
Personality: Sarcastic, loyal to the royal family, sister to Flower(doesn't know it), stubborn, hates the rebels and enjoys watching the arena fights.
Locattion: Normally in the Royal box at the a arena and if not there, in the castle.
Strengths: Smart, good eyesight and kinda fast.

Why do all the RPs have to look so tempting?! Alright, I can't not join this. I love these kinds of RPs!
Name: Veterra (the word means 'wind' in Russian, but I thought it made a pretty mysterious sounding name. I hope that's okay! :) If it's not, then I'll be called Tempest)
Rebel/Royal: Rebel
Appearance: Kestrel head/ wings with a Caracal body. Wings are mostly brown, rimmed with a couple of inches worth of white with black speckles. The rest of the wing is streaked with russet and navy blue feathers (natural). Head is just feathers of various shades of brownin them. Deep blue, almost onyx eyes with flecks of silver around the pupil. As for the body, it's a mixture of brown and goldish.
Personality: Loyal, caring, protective of those she cares for, observant, resourceful (good at using her surroundings to her advantage), intelligent/ clever, doesn't always think before she acts/ speaks, though. Defiant, can be somewhat mean, but only to those that she feels have earned it. Dislikes giving up.
Location: Currently at the army camp, trying to help hunt some food for everyone.
Strengths: Really good at improvising, has gotten really good at flying because she practices/ trains whenever she has free time,
Weakeness: Afraid to kill (but will if she has to)

If you've read WoF, book 1 the arena is like that. The stadium is ascended high in the sky with a series of towers encircling it. The prisoners are kept their with chains around their neck and talons. 4-5 per a landing.
I also meant to put another charrie sheet in but I forgot. As usual:)
Name: Raven
Appearence: Eagle head and panther body, despised because of his completely black plumage and malformed talons
Personality: Haughty and prideful, never shows his weak side, has learned to cope with the teasing.
Rebel/Royal: Royal
Strengths: right now none. He's pretty much ignored the war his entire life because it didn't have anything to do with him-until now.
(Thinking of shipping him with ocelot since their pretty much opposites) ;)
Note: he's a prince but his father doesn't act like it.

Name: Flixen
REBEL
Appearance: so father was a peragrin falcon/ white tiger mix, mother was a snow leopard white ptarmigan, and fathers parents were timber wolf and jaguar, the rest of the relatives are pretty much the same or don't affect her appearance.
She is mostly a ptarmigan snow slapped mix, with bright, green eyes. She has a small head and is very fluffy and white. Her beak is pail yellow tipped black, small but increadably Sharp. Her talons are increadably Sharp too. Her back talons are extremely long and sharp and a shimmy silver. They are retractable because her other half is a cat. She has two large ears and very large eyes. She has a scar across one eye. Her feathers are a white but turn slowly into a Gray and is a very dark Gray when connected to the other half. Wings are long and have the markings of paragrine feathers and tiger stripes. Her snow leopard half is a deep Gray that matches the end of the feathers. The spots very from white to black to pail Orange to pail yellow and are a mix of leapord spots and jaguar spots. Her tail has two stripes near the end, one black one white, and the tip of her tail is white. Her front talons are pail yellowish Orange. She also always where's a chain around her neck as a sign that means. "You can chain me but I will always be free."
Personality: Sarcastic and can make dry humer in the worst of situations. Caring and loyal beyond death.
Location: captured and in arena. );
Strengths: Some think she's weak and soft because she is part ptarmigan and looks cute. She is also a bit smaller then the usual half-cat animal. She takes this assumption and surprises her enemy's with her force, strength, determination, speed and wit. Judges all too carefully.

Okay. Maybe I could have been born with Royals for parents, but was disowned by them at a young age because of a small scar just under the fold of my wing, which they took as a deformity. I was then taken in by Cress and the Rebels, and have grown up as a strong supporter of them. Is that okay?

Name: Demarcus
Rebel/Royal: Rebel, but was a Royal
Appearance: Falcon head and lion body, chestnut colored feathers.
Personality: Quiet, calm, smart, but not a genius, kind.
Location: Currently in the arena.
Strengths: A very good flier, very strong.
Background: Demarcus was a Royal, but his family were Rebels. However, one day, his family was caught, brought to the Arena, and killed. This made Demarcus so angry that he went on a rampage, demolishing several mansions, and commencing in his shouting of an alleigance to Cress. Now, he's been in the Arena for 2 years, gaining him the nickname, "Unsinkable Demarcus".

Name: Grhocon (grr-who-con)
Royal
Appearance: A light grey gryfalcon ram mix. Has a sharp, dark grey beak with a black tip. Has yellow eyes with sideways puiples like a ram's. Has two small, feathery ears. Dark grey skin on front bird talons and very sharp and dagger-thin black claws. Has a muscular build, thick shoulders and thick wings, narrow like an arrow. Feathers slowly turn brown and fade to light brown fur. Thick legs and two, large glistening black hooves. Small tail but ends with long, gryfalcon patterned feathers tipped black, so seems a lot longer. Has two large horns curling from his head that are obsidain black. He comes from a line of pure-breed gryfalcon and ram/deer/moose (really any hooves animal, whatever that class of mammals is called). Wears a gold chain around his neck with a falcon at the end with large, dimond eyes.
Personality: well spotty and bratty like any royal. Loves mean sarcasm and teasing the prisoners. (He's a guard and one of the meny gryphons to force the prisoners into the arena) has no sympathy for any creature that isn't a royal. (Except Flixen, who he is gonna fall in love with)
Location: arena preparing the gryphons for battle.
Strengths: incredibly strong. Can move much more then any normal graphing with his shoulders. This makes him very powerful and can knock someone out with a knock from his solid head.
