Fermata~

After a few minutes of deliberation, we agree on a plan of action for now. Aleia will go into the city to get help. Meanwhile, I would go out into the surrounding forest on foot and gather as much supplies as possible. Keen was going to get his res so he could heal, even if I have to tie his to the floor. I'm not worried though, because Callus seems to be having the same thoughts. I don't feel as though anyone in danger because the Ravenwing riders aren't waware of Aleia's existence, and I have Crescendo guarding the cave and watching the skies from the ground to make sure we're completely safe. Aleia is also going to get any supplies that we need that we can't find in the forest (such as medical stuff, something to carry everything in, food, water canteens, etc.).

"Good luck!" I call after Aleia as she takes off into the sky atop Breeze.

Then, I turn to Keen and tell him to go back in the cave and rest. And argument ensues (sorry I'm too tired right now to type out an agument. You can decide what they say, if you like), but the deciding factor is Callus. He eventually walks out of the cave, his eyes saying that he blames me for Keen not already resting. I growl at him, too riled up to respond with words, and stalk into the forest to search for the things we need.

I watch as the sun first rises higher, then sinks lower and lower in the sky as the day goes on. I make several trips through the woods, each time coming back with Crescendo's saddlebag, which I had taken off of her, full of foraged plants, berries, and nuts, strong ropes of vine, and other useful things that we may need. As I head out for one last trip before going to sleep, I notice a movement in the bushes to my left. I stop, standing stone still for a moment, before concluding that it was probably just a forest animal. As I slip further into the woods, moving like a shadow, I start to feel as if I'm being watched. Or followed. Finally, I've had enough. I stop in the centre of a rather large clearing in the woods. "Show yourself!" I call, annoyance creeping into my voice.

I twig snaps to my right. I remain facing the direction I already am. Softly, I call, "I don't plan on hurting you, but I won't have a choice if you try to jump me."

I hear a whisper of wind behind me. Slowly, carefully, I turn around, keeping my eyes lowered.

When nothing happens, I look up. There, floating a few feet above the ground is what seems to be the first creature we will need to convince...

A Forest Nymph. 

Oh, whoops. I didn't see your post before I posted mine. Well... I guess whatever happens next could be a cross between our two things. They seem to both sort of lead in similar directions. Ish.

Oh! Also, I was bored the other day so I made a picture of of Crescendo. Here it is:

Keen~

It is almost dusk when I wake up. Looking around for Fermata, I decide that she must be outside. Fluttering around the cave is a strangely colored bird—no, an overlarge moth! Its coloring is so light grey that it is almost purple. After making a few circlets around the room, it settles on my head. Laughing, I try to swat it off, but it does not seem to be afraid of me. Finally, it jumps up, twirls in the air, and lands on my bandaged shoulder. Suddenly I hear a loud ringing noise that seems to be coming from everwhere at once. Looking around for the source, I discover that the sound seems to be coming from the moth, which seems to be...doing something. I can literally feel the long, deep cut in my shoulder healing up as if the skin is stitched back together. It takes all my energy not to scratch at it. The moth leaps into the air and begins hovering at eye-level, looking at me expectantly. Tugging at the bandages, I tenatively run my hand along bare skin, craning my neck to see what on earth this strange moth did to me. It's gone. Not even a scratch or a mark. Glancing up at the moth, I smile.

"Hey, thanks!" I start to walk out of the cave to make sure Fermata is okay, but then something clicks in my head, "you're one of those magical creatures we need to find," I realize.

Oh man! I am so sorry guys! I've been gone WAY too long!mi hope I'm still welcome in this RP! I'll continue from your post, Little Reader! Again, so sorry! Haven't been on much lately!

I stand in shock, staring at Aleia for a few moments. Keen's absence had been bothering me for the few days I hadn't seen him, since he had disappeared. I had planned to follow him that day, but Nightstorm ran off after some unknown horror, and things got complicated and mixed up. I had come to town today to look for signs of Keen and the others, when I ran into Aleia. "Yes!" I said a little too loudly, immediately clamping a hand over my mouth. "I mean, uh, of course I'll help. What can I do?"

"I take it you're an experienced rider?"

i nod in reply. "Follow me." Aleia answers, with a kind smile. I feel a flutter deep inside me, for some reason, and am so shocked  in wonderment about what just happened, I almost forget about Aleia all together. "Coming?" She says from above. I scramble onto Stormy's back, and he immediately takes off. Aleia leads us through formations of rock, and past cliffs, sharp turns everywhere. We swoop down, then back up, and I have to swing my body weight to avoid hitting a tree. I dosage a few more trees, before Aleia's Pegasus stops. She then glides around a cliffside, and we land at a small cave. My body still trembling from the shock and exhilaration of my ride, I realize why Aleia questioned my skill level. I hear the low threatening whinny of an unsure Pegasus, and the gruff and slightly aggressive chuff of a disturbed gryphon. Realizing I'm the cause of the disturbance, I look at Aleia, concerned. Our eyes meet for a moment, then she takes that as a cue to reassure the animals. "It's all right," she says as we walk into the cave. I hear the shuffling of feet just outside the cave and whirl around, to see Keen. "I thought, your shoulder... Aren't you supposed to be resting?" Aleia stutters. "My shoulder's fine!" He smiles and reveals the bare and completely normal skin of his upper arm. I stand aside, feeling confused, and slightly out of place here. "Ryn!" Keen says, more excitedly than I would've thought, and my face lit up involuntarily. "Good to see ya again!" He says, patting me on the back. "I guess Aleia explained everything, and judging by that you're here, I guess you've agreed! Glad to have you on the team!" Just then, a pretty blonde girl struts in, a serious expression on her face.  "Keen, I have news." She says, slightly happy. "Wait, what are you doing out of bed?" She chides in an almost motherly way. "My shoulder, it's fine. A moth... Headed it. Sort of. It's a long and confusing story. We can talk later. This is Ryn! And he's agreed to join our team, too." Answered the ever-happy Keen. "Yes, I see. Hello Ryn, and welcome. Now, for my news. I've found the forest nymph."

ok, so, I realize now that I've written this, that Aleia was probably going to find everyone at once, not just me. I only did my 'very clever deductions' after writing all this, though. So I thought maybe the other riders could have followed me and Aleia back to the cave, after she found them. So you guys can RP the individual conversations, etc.  is that ok? :-/
