13 years ago the world was struck with a surge of tatanic earthquakes.
Japan was swallowed beneath the ocean's surface----taking two thirds of China along with it.
That was just one of the many casualties.
No one knew what had caused the tectonic playes to shift with such force. Till Months later- after a FedEx delivery plane crashlanded on a volcanic island on the pacific ocean.
An island that wasn't there before.
Germany was the first to send troops there-
They didn't come back.
Russia followed, but with the same conclusion.
America sent a team of the best scientists as well as a fleet of emergency back-up.
All that returned was a slip spattered with blood.

So this is sorta my B-day thread, *toots horn* I'm 13!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!!!
Anyway, I hereby oath, on my Guinea pig's life I will NOT let this thread die until it gets 300 comments.

There is NO limit on how many people may join though please only one charrie per person. Gracias.
Before I state the ship list heres a few rules.
1. No magic. This is the future so some techy stuff is allowed but no transfiguration or invisibility etc.
2. If you do not post for two weeks without explanation your charrie WILL get eaten or something.
3. No kid charries. sorry. All characters must be 17 or older.
4. All races are allowed!!!! Indian, African, greenlandian whatever :-)

Sure! At this point, we've made it to the island. While we were on the boat, a virus started infecting lots of people. Many of them died. We found a chemical that can help slow down the virus while we look for the cure. We're pretty sure the parts of the cure are on the island. While looking for parts of the cure, Pierre was bitten by a snake. He was dying, but we think we've found a cure for the bite as well. That's about it. I hope this was clear.

Hi, this is Alexandra, and I think I might stay on this thread after all- it's my favorite RP! And elementgirl18917, welcome! We certainly need writers! And I really hope this lives. I'll post a little, but I won't be on that often, but I really miss this thing!!! Aileen is in the room with Pierre and Rose right now, I'm pretty sure. And Pierre's asleep, right? Or is he awake? I'll just go with asleep. I know I technically left, but I can't help staying on this thread!

"Rose?" I ask, looking at her, forcing a small smile, "Come in."
She nods and enters the room, sitting on a chair opposite me, next to Pierre. Pierre turns over in his sleep, and mutters something in French under his breath.
Rose gulps, "How is he?"
I shake my head, feeling helpless, "I don't know." I lean over him, watching him. Then, carefully, gingerly, I reach over and take his arm out from under the blankets, examining the wound without much hope.
It's even more swollen and red than before, and I can't help slipping my hand into his, "If only he would at least wake up!"
As if he could hear me, his eyes blink at me, gazed over like someone spread a layer of gel over his eyes.
"Ai-leen," He croaks.
I lean forward, holding his hand in both of mine, "You're awake! Pierre!"
He coughs, and Rose grabs a glass of water from the bedside table. I help him up, but he cries out in pain, wincing. It looks like the venom has spread to other parts of his body. He sips a bit of water before laying down again with a gasp.
His eyes close again, and he's asleep. Rose and I look at each other.
"We've had such ill luck on this voyage, Rose."
She nods, "I know. But I was thinking... remember the last expedition here? All that returned was a slip of blood. But who returned that? Where did everybody go?"
"Someone has to be on this island, then! Or else who would be able to return that slip? And all connections were cut off, too. It's like the voyagers radios and everything were smashed, or broken."
"But who could have done it?"
To that, I have no answer.

Do you guys think there should be someone else on the island? A group of people, perhaps, or maybe even a monster! And the four of us still here could go try to defeat it/her/him/them? We could find a thing that slows Pierre's snake venom down enough for him to walk, talk, and stuff like that. And we could leave Dr. Dereads with the sick people (all the people who left). Maybe the evil person on the island could be the one to make them sick! And cause the virus! The snake could be it's pet to defeat the ones that haven't been conquered by the virus... What do you thinK?

I'm not sure how to post right now, since Pierre seems to be pretty much delirious and in critical condition. Some venom-slowing thing would definitely be good.
