Vampire/Werewolves RP

Vampire/Werewolves RP
Vampire/Werewolves RP
Note: This is not in any way based on Twilight, may it rest in tiny charred pieces. On the bottom of shoes. In landfills.
In this roleplay, we will be kids of today who are at the Schimbantor/Viteze family reunion, when they discover that their relatives/close friends are in fact werewolves or vampires.
This is the only time which the werewolves and vampires call a truce: Every fifty years, at a full moon. After that, they disperse into packs, hiding, or pretending to be human in civilazation.
All our charries will be sixteen: the "best age" to be initiated. (If youwant, you can ask to have a different age) But at the reunion ... trouble will break out.
Types of werewolves:
Street Packs are homeless gangs wandering the streets, usually using extortion and threats to get what they want. They are hard, tough, and not afraid to use their abilities.
Societal Packs are werewolves who secretly meet at places like country clubs (they have a code to get into a secret room). They are very civilized and pretty good at controlling their instinct. They have a code not to kill.
Heritage Packs are the smallest, usually just a family. They have a very tight bond as both pack members and family members.
Of the three, Street Packs are the most protective of their "territory." Societal Packs' territory usually consists of their club and lands under a five-mile radius. Other than vampires or werewolves of a different pack, Societal Packs don't care about humans on "their" territory. Heritage Packs usually only consider their home and property to be theirs, but guard it almost as viciously as street packs.
Societal Packs tend to have a "you ignore us, we ignore you" policy on vampires.
Heritage Packs are distrustful but not outright enemies to vampires.
Street Packs love to hear vampires' screams.
Werewolves have heightened speed, strength, hearing, and smell. They can also turn into wolves.
Vampires types: Chiropteran, Nosferatan, and Modern.
Vampires usually live alone. Chiropterans have bat wings (even in non-bat form) and Nosferatans have elongated fangs and very large eyes. Nosferatans live underground more often than not. Moderns look like humans with no canine teeth; this is because their fangs stay in their jaw until ejected.
Moderns have the same policy on werewolves as Societal Packs.
Nosferatans are distrustful but not outright enemies to vampires.
Chiropterans love hauling werewolves into the sky and dropping them.
They have increased hearing and can pass through some (but not all) solid objects. Fangs and bat-transformation.
So! Now that we're done with all that boring information ...

"Aunt" Matilda comes back in, bringing several more people into the room.
"As you know, this is the Viteze and Schimbantor family reunion. And children, for those of you who are ignorant of your heritage, you are a family of vampires and werewolves, as humans would call us. Left, Viteze, vampire. Right, Schimbantor, werewolf. The banquet will begin shortly, and you will be initiated into the family secrets." This last causes a lot of whispering and muttering, and she waited for it to die down before continuing. "Please follow me to the dining hall now."
My eyes probably just fell out of my head. I can't tell if this is a joke or what, but OHMIGOSH IT WOULD BE SO GOOD IF IT WAS TRUE!!! Aly turns to me. "So we'd be vampires! Together!"
I nod emphatically, following the other vampires to the dining hall. Matilda gives me an odd look as we file out. As we enter the dining hall, a scene from Harry Potter seems to greet our eyes. But with black stone. And no teacher's table. And sadly no enchanted ceiling.
Apparently we don't get magic like that. I am seated next to my Mother, Uncle, and cousin. Mother is on my right, and Uncle on her right, and Aly sits on my left. But what I really want to know is: how the heck are we all related?
Aunt Matilda steps up onto a raised platform, calling for attention. "Now, future initiates, I have told you this once, but I must tell you again. Schimbantors, you will no doubtly be claimed as werewolves. Viteze," at this she puffs up and looks far too pleased with herself.
"You will be claimed as vampires." she says this so seriously I know she can't be lying. I'm a vampire. Still a vampire. WEll, I'm going to be claimed as one, whatever that means.

Oooooooh, this looks sooooooooooooooo cool. I was in one of these once. It was amazing until it died mid-way in the story. It was very depressing.
AAAAAAAAAANyways, this looks amazing. Could I join now? I mean, it's a tentative question because, you know, this has already started. Buuuuuuuuut......... cooooouuuuuld I? IF it's okay with everyone. =)
(September 19, 2016 - 2:35 pm)
Alright. But could ya pleaaasseee be a vampire?
(September 21, 2016 - 7:07 pm)
I don't want to be presumchous, but, uh, if I was to join, then could I maybe............ post up a little of the were-wolf backstory thing? It's just I think I have a bit of talent for backstories. And probably descriptions, too. Plus I love to do that kind of thing. It's probably obvious by my Myths&Legends posts. Heh.
Well....... as I said I don't want to assume too much but.......... I'm going to post my character.
Name: Jack.
Knowledge of family transformation: Some, but he hasn't been fully accepted yet.
Family or close friend: Family
Side of family, if any: Schimbantor.
Age (vampires are immortal, werewolves stay young but aren't): 15
Werewolf or Vampire: Were-Wolf.
Pack or Type (if you're in a pack, make a name for it): Uninitiated.
Appearance: He has light-brown curly hair, and icy-blue eyes. He's lightly freckled.
Appearance as a bat/wolf: Undetermined...... But once it IS determined, he's a
Personality: He's a decent guy and has a kind nature. He likes to think things through a lot. Like, if he was to make an errant wish, he'd start to think about the problems with the wish, and how to modify it. And if he starts to think about were-wolves and vampires then he'd think about what the packs would be called, how they would react to vampires, visa-versa. He's a talented artist. He's actually a scaredy-cat, really. He's not that brave but for someone he really likes (ei. family, friends ect.) he'd do a lot. He has impeccable grammar. He's very shy too, but once he knows you he can open up a lot. I'll figure out more of his personality once he's hopefully in the story.
Opinion on Werewolves/Vampires: Oh gosh, their so cool! I loooove were-wolves. It'd be sooo cool if they existed...... but then again, I mean, how would they affect society? Like, how would they survive.. ect.
One last thing.
The Worlds RP was I think the greatest RP that I have ever participated in. Someone should go back to the RP, read it, and make a book out of it. Then get published. I think it would be a great home-made book. A short book, to be sure, but a simple one to make. Just add chapters. And maybe change a bit of the storyline. But I think it was an amazing idea. It should be considered a book in it's own right.
That's all. =,)

Never mind. I remember Captain Jack, so I'll let you by. ;)

I arrive at the gate of a rather medieval looking castle, where a tall, severe looking women greets us."Hello. My name is Aunt Matilda, but I'm probably not actually your aunt," she emphasizes the 'your' and sniffs a bit at the end of the sentence. Well, then. I think. She's number one on my list of relatives that I don't like so far. I shudder. When I'm led into the entrance hall, I see that I'm one of the first here. Internally, I shrug. As of right now, this reunion is meh. Although I am curious about the Vitese side of the family. I take a step towards the left side of the room, but "aunt" Matilda directs me and a couple of others to the right side of the room. "Vitese to the left wall, Schimbantor to the right. Don't intermingle, please."
"Well, that's easy enough. I don't know anyone here..." I mutter, then sigh, wishing I did know my relatives. Well, not much I can do about it. I walk over to a corner where another girl is reading a book. I sit down near her and plugin my earbuds to my iPad. Then, I put on Hamilton in the background and pull up my book. I'm crrently reading The White Rose and delve deep into the world of Princess Elizabeth, directly after the Cousins' War in England, when she is forced to marry and have the child of the very man who killed her lover for the throne. I am annoyed to be interrupted by "aunt" Matilda telling us boring stuff about the proceedings this evening. Blah blah blah, banquet hall, blah blah blah. Initiation? Interesting. I pay attention to the rest. When Matilda is finished speaking, everyone gets up to go to the banquet hall and the girl who was reading beside me turns to me." What do you suppose is the family secret she was talking about?" she asks.
I smile. I could be friends with this girl "No idea," I admit, "but we'll find out after dinner, I guess."
"Yeah, I guess." she turns away, as Matilda led us out the door and through several hallways. Annnnd there goes my chance to socialize. I'm too shy to talk to anyone else for a while. When I've decide that the group of people I'm with seems welcoming enough, I join the conversation. The topic, it seems, is our heritage. After all, the group of us will likely be werewolves. We may as well learn to act as a pack should we each other. Right?
Okay. So, hopefully, this is a good enough introductory thing for myself. I'm eager for when someone gives me an opportunity for drama, or starts drama themselves. Don't let this RP die, everyone! :)

Can I by any chance raid the ceremony with my pack of rogue wolves? Maybe before or after. Cause we Street pack wolves aren't really involved in any way in this...

Ooh, l really like that idea. l. for one, am completely in favor of that. at is
(September 20, 2016 - 10:54 am)
"Oh! Hello, Clement," I sit on the Schimbantor side, smiling at Clement. He smiles back. "Hey. How are you?"
"Well. What's happening?"
(Seriously, can someone give me a summary of what's happening ? I'm confused...)

After dinner is over, Aunt Matilda walks back into the room, stepping onto a raised, wooden platform, barely big enough to serve as a stage.
She clears her throat, and begins, "Now, dinner is over. The Initiation has begun." Her words hang in the air, causing me, and Tati next to me, to shiver. The Initiation has begun... scary words, those are.
Aunt Matilda continues, "The order does matter, although to you who are ignorant of your heritage, it will seem random. As we explain more to you, you will learn that some positions are most important, two numbers. For example, the very first is important, as is the thirteenth, for different reasons. Now, you probably will not understand me, so let me begin with the Initiation. And the first one on the list is..."
She reaches her hand deep inside a dark, coal-black bowl and pulls out a single slip of paper, "Now, this is not random. Remember that. The spirits are deciding which slip goes in which order. Now, the first person to be initiated is..."
She clears her throat, unfolding the paper, as the tension builds. I wish she would just go ahead and say it, "Alycianna Viteze, daughter of John Viteze, Human, Alive, and Rosemary Viteze, Vampire... Deceased."
Rosemary Viteze. So that was mother's name. Huh, all my life, and I never even knew my own mother's name. Rosemary sounded nice, not like the vampires I've seen so far...
"Alycianna Viteze, please come and follow me," Aunt Matilda says, and I rise, feeling the stares on me. Aunt Matilda leaves the room with me, and leads me to a door. She opens it, showing a flight of stairs, winding up and up forever, "Up." She says, and leaves me there.
I look up, unsure, then start climbing for what seems like forever up the dreary, stone steps.
~~~
I was thinking that the 'special' numbers could be the first vampire, the first werewolf, the third of both, and the thirteenth of both? And Tati could be thirteenth Vampire? Rilla says cbdu. CB Duel? Do you want to have a duel?
(September 21, 2016 - 2:34 pm)
Ooo! Interesting, but not what I had planned. I think I'll combine the two ideas ...
~Tati~
Soon after they leave, Aunt Tilda comes back, Aly next to her, looking proud and yet defient. "Alycianna is now a vampire, of type Stil.*" Much applauding comes from the vampires, along with hisses and boos from the werewolves.
Then she prances back to the stage thing and draws another slip out. "Tatiana Viteze, daughter of Izaak Viteze, human, and Alyss Viteze, Vampire."
Oh, shoot. I am sooo not ready. I stand up, and walk towards her, longing for a book to hide behind. She leads me to a door, and past it, is a flight of stairs.
"Go." She hisses, pointing a crooked finger at the stairs. And of course, I oblige. It seems hours before we reach the top. Auntie Tilda opens the door at the top, and gives me a little push. "Don't be a dissapointment any longer, or Mother may just send you to live with me. I run a lovely establishment, something of a boarding school."
She bares her teeth at me, then slams the door in my face. Yeah. Nice relatives.
In the center of the circular room is a round table, with a round ball on top of it. The room is completely dark except for where a shaft of moonlight falls on the glowing ball.
Well, I'm probably going to be doing something with the orb. I step forward, and try to peer into the ball. Nothing. What if I shake it?
Something seems to swirl around inside. I peer in again. A curving number starts to materialize within the ball. A curving nine. I swirl it again to see if anything else will appear.
Inside the ball, it seems to catch fire, and the glass grows hotter and hotter, so hot, I almost can't stand it. Soon it grows cool again, the fire burning away, leaving a burnt seventeen.
What all this means, I don't know. I shake the orb again, but nothing happens. I set the ball back down on the table, and open the door. "What numbers did you get?" Aunt Tilda hisses.
"Er, a nine and a seventeen. It was odd, when the seventeen appeared, because it started burning inside and-"
Auntie now seems very unsettled. "What happened when the seventeen appeared?" she asks, her voice dangerously low.
"It was like a fire was lit on the inside, and it was so hot, I almost dropped it -- but I didn't, I held onto it. Then it started growing cooler again, and then there was just a seventeen. It looked like it was burnt into the glass."
Auntie sucks in her breath with a loud shoosh noise, seeming almost to shake. With anger or fear, I don't know.
"Come." she commands. I follow her down, down, down: To the dungeon. She grabs my arm, and although I try, I can't twist away from her. Her grip is like iron. She opens up a cell door and thrusts me in. Locking the door, she says, "Stay here. I'll be back with the elders."
