More Fantasy Picturings!

Now, I don't want any competition with CL, but I noticed that she's kind of getting swamped there, and I think she might like some help getting everyone's picturings. So I decided to do some, too! Just post a request on here, and I'll do some for you!

~Clouded Leopard

The girl crouched on the branch of the tree, her eyes searching the forest below her. No one. She smiled, then leapt down with surprising agility, running farther into the forest. She didn't know that at that moment, a man was following her silently, an evil smile on his face. He fingered his gun by his side, and crept after her again.

She ran wildly, freely, letting out animal-like cries that frightened the man slightly. But he had orders to capture this strange creature, and he would follow them, word for word.

As night fell, the girl curled up high on a tree branch and went to sleep, her senses still alert. The man smiled, and took his gun, aiming for her carefully. He pulled the trigger, then...

BOOM! The branch snapped and the girl felt herself falling, falling... then... she transformed. Fur sprouted out of her bare skin and her fingernails turned into claws, her cries becoming more and more wild. And she landed on the ground, staring at the man, unharmed. Because a cat always lands on all fours.

The man stared right back, but with terror, not defiance, as he murmured, "A shapeshifter..."

The leopard laughed at his foolishness, pouncing on top of him, screaming and tearing at his skin. His cries echoed around the forest, and the humans in the village at the edge of the forest clung to each other desperately, knowing that he had again failed.

And the clouded leopard prowled away from the body, blood on it's paws. Sooner or later they would realize that they would never capture her. She glanced back toward the man, and sighed. Probably later.

I'm sorry if it's not very original. I'm not too good at these.

~Daisy

Her hair hung over her shoulder like melted gold, and her ocean blue eyes were mesmerizing. Her appearance alone would attract so many boys if only they could see her, or know about her. She was locked in a tower, and the key had been thrown away. Her food was sent by a messenger pigeon, a messenger of her evil stepmother, who had locked her away from the world in a lone stone tower in the middle of a field of wildflowers and blowing grass.

Her name was Daisy, the rightful princess of Alrinare, but instead her stepmother was sitting on that throne, pretending to mourne her 'death', and her father's, too. So Daisy stayed in the tower, day by day, as she grew from a toddler to a child to a young lady.

Now she was fifteen years old, ready to explore the outside world she hadn't even thought about as a little kid. Every day, she looked outside, at the sunshine, the grass, the flowers, with more and more yearning in her eyes.

"Oh, will I even be able to escape?" she wondered, tears pooling in her eyes, making them seem all the more like an ocean.

She sighed, leaning out, brushing her hand against the warm stone of the tower. There were some stones jutting out against her hand, all hard and sharp. She worked her fingernails into the moss and ripped it apart, trying to get to those stones and pull them out so the surface would be smooth again. The moss and vines fell from her hands onto the grass far below, and she wished she could just follow it down and run away from this life, forever... and ever... and ever...

She sighed, taking one stone up to examine it, frowning at it's odd, key-like shape. She washed it out, gasping as it began to shine and shimmer. It was... a key! It was the key to the door! She caressed it gently, her heart fluttering with joy, "It's the key..." she murmured, turning resolutely toward the door.

Holding her breath, she stuck the key in, hoping against hope that it would turn. It fit in... then, click! It turned and she swung the door wide open, looking at the damp stairs leading down, hardly daring to believe it.

She stepped down gingerly, closing the door behind her. Step by step, she made her way to the bottom, where there was a wooden door that could be pushed open easily. She looked at the outside world, reaching her bare foot out to feel the grass. Was it sharp and spiky like her stepmother had said? Would it cut her foot? Only one way to find out.

She took a deep breath, then plunged forward, surprised to feel the silk like grass under her feet. She cried out with the joy of a captive set free, and ran forward, her long hair flying out behind her. She spread her arms out wide, and felt the sun shine on her face. She was finally free.

~BumbleBuddy

The little girl in the princess costume rushed from house to house, calling out, "Trick-or-Treat!"

Her bag full of candy bumped against her leg, and she shrieked with laughter, when a shadow fell over her. She stopped, turning around, "Hello!" She beamed at the strange woman with black hair and dark lipstick.

The woman nodded at her, silent. The little girl said, "Happy Halloween! Are you a witch? Ooh, I love witches! I want to be one next year!" She began to run off to the next house, when the woman grabbed her arm, "Hey! Let go of me!" She began to get a bit scared.

"Come... with me." The woman spoke, her voice deep and raspy, "Come with... me!"

The girl's lip began to tremble, and she began to cry, "Mommy! Mommy!" But her mother wasn't there. She had wanted to trick or treat alone that year, and her mom had agreed after a long while of arguing.

"Sssstop... crying!" Her voice contained such force that the girl was scared into silence, mutely following the strange woman to a dark alleyway. She began to tremble all over, her breath coming out shakily.

The woman let go of her, and she tried to bolt, but was caught by the woman, "Sssstay... right here!"

The little girl nodded, scrunching her face up, trying not to cry. The woman began to shrink, and transform before the girl's eyes, and she screamed as a giant snake appeared before her, "Aaaah! Mommy!" She began to cry even louder, as a flash of orange light appeared before her, and another woman stepped out, with braided orange hair and golden eyes, "Niaqi, why are you here again?"

She asked in a calm, fierce voice. The snake began to writhe, transforming back into a human, "Oh, BumbleBuddy, it's you? Trying to save the world again, huh? Well, this little girl is mine to control!"

"Not for long!" And before the little girl's eyes, the two began to duel, leaving only her savior standing. BumbleBuddy turned to the girl, who was looking up at her with an expression of pure admiration.

"Miss BumbleBee!" She cried, pouncing into her arms, as BumbleBuddy smiled, "Don't follow stranger around, alright, honey?"

The little girl nodded, having learned her lesson, "Next year I won't be a witch! I'll be a bumblebee!"

BumbleBuddy nodded, smiling, glad to have saved another innocent's life.

The baby owl hopped from branch to branch, pecking at them, then hopped off and began to fly unsteadily, but proudly. After a while, she felt a wind begin to pick up, and she was blown off track. She hooted loudly, and tried to go home, but little drops of rain began to settle on her feathers, soaking her. The wind roared louder and louder... until she couldn't stay on track anymore. She was swept up into the hurricane, her cries for help going by unnoticed.

With one more painful flap of her wings, she stopped, unconcious, the hurricane sweeping it along, deeper and deeper into it... Branches snapped past her, bruising her, but she didn't notice. Her eyes remained closed as she floated closer and closer to the middle, the loud roaring like that of a mountain lion in her ears... then...

Magic. That was the only way she could describe it when she woke up again. It felt so calm, so still, so silent, so... magical. She moved her wing, and winced, but didn't care. She flapped it, and it grew less stiff. She soared around and around in that middle, seeing craziness swirl all around her, but not touching her, as if there were some secret barrier between her and the rest of the world. She rather liked that feeling.

She chirrupped happily, flying along, up and down, in her own little space. But after a while, she realized that she couldn't stay there forever. There was her mother, waiting for her baby in the warm little nest with fresh worms, probably worried to death. There were her siblings, probably worried too, and her father. He might even brave the storm to get to her! She needed to get back! He might not find the little white space she was in!

Worry for him filled her, and she took a deep breath, looking at the black and grey storm around her, faintly howling, trying to get at her, and gave herself in to it.

Take me out. Take me back to my family.

And it did.

@Everyone who requested. Tell me if you want me to make yours sad, and I will. But I won't if you don't ask me to!

September~

The oceanside was still, the beach sand grainy and rocky, not smooth and silky like some sand. It was really a desolate, lonely beach, seemingly abandoned. The sky was dark and gloomy, with signs of an oncoming storm. The water was not just cold, but freezing cold, frigid cold, icy cold.

But on that beach that many people would consider wasteland, there sat a girl with flowing brown hair, a long-sleeved dress, and bare feet. She shivered in the cold, and rubbed her arms together to rid them of their numbness.

She sighed as the waves rolled in and made her toes even more cold. She curled them up and breathed on her hands, sighing as the wind blew her harshly. She watched the storm clouds gather above her, and grimaced as it began to drizzle lightly. The ocean began to churn, and the ocean began to bubble. The girl looked up, her sad eyes lighting up slightly.

The water by the shore, up to the girls ankles only seconds before, rose up, higher and higher, until it was the hight of the girl herself, and out of it stepped another girl, the first girl's age, but with a happier face and brighter eyes.

"Who-who are you?" The first girl asked, her eyes wide with fear and wonder.

The second girl smiled, "I am September, the spirit, and I'm here to take you away from here."

The first girl's eyes lit up, and she stood, whispering, "R-really? Could you really take me away?" Her voice contained a mixture of hope and fear, and she looked both wary and eager.

September nodded, "I'll take you into the ocean, where you'll be able to escape this place, once... and for all..."

The first girl involuntarily took a step forward, and September reached out her arms with their watery blue cloak, folding her inside. The both slowly descended into the ocean... never to be heard of... again.
