Fantasy Picturings!
For anyone who participated in the LtE on Inkwell, you'll know that towards the end, we started doing something called "Fantasy Picturings". I just checked and I saw that Booksy and Alexandra asked for one... and I never responded... sorry, guys! ><
So here, anyone who wants for me to do one can ask for it! It may be a bit infrequent, due to my having SO much to do, and a CB Story (I hope people are still reading it), and life in general. But I'll try to do as many as I can!
(If you want an example of one, go to the LtE and there'll be lots.)

Windswift
~~
“Are you sure it’s around here, Dad?” Randall asked, unsure. His father wiped his nose and nodded at his son, the rope in his hand dragging the ground.
“I got a tip-off from my buddy Smithson that it’s around here somewhere,” he said, keeping his voice and his tread light. “We’re gonna catch that pegasus today, son.” Randall nodded, though personally he’d much rather be at home, reading a book than stalking through this forest. All of a sudden his father whipped out his hand and stopped him short, focusing on a clearing up ahead. And there, grazing on a clover patch, was a pure-white horse with large, feathery silver wings. Randall’s father dropped into a crouch, moving slowly and intently. He gestured sharply, and reluctantly Randall dropped down beside him. Together father and son moved towards the pegasus as it ate its fill. Randall’s dad paused, cocking the trigger of his tranquilizing gun with a click, aimed it for the pegasus’s middle, and fired. The dart struck it right in its side, and the pegasus whinnied loudly. It tried to spread its wings and fly away, but it stumbled as the toxins took their effect. Finally, the beautiful creature collapsed on the ground, out cold. Randall felt sick as he watched his father loop the rough rope around the pegasus’s neck and haul it over to the truck he had brought.
“...Dad?” Randall hesitantly asked. “What’s going to happen to it?” His dad chuckled to himself as he revved the engine.
“There are plenty of people who’ll pay good money for this critter,” he replied as the truck bounced along the road. “We can finally afford that computer you’ve been wanting.” Randall looked down at his knees. Sure, it would great to have a computer so he could code and write and research, but… what would be the real price?
That night, Randall made up his mind.
Treading so quietly nothing would have been able to hear him, Randall snuck out to the pegasus’s cage, the key in his hand. The pegasus nickered loudly when he neared it, but Randall managed to indicate enough panic that it quieted. It watched him with bright, intelligent eyes as he unlocked the door and led it out. It touched him softly with its nose, its breath warm on his cheek. Then it spread it silvery wings, gave a final nod of gratitude, and soared into the sky, flying as swift as the wind.
Tuxedo Kitten
~~
A small, skinny brown cat darted down an alleyway, its amber eyes wide and its fur puffed out. Behind it, paws thrummed on the stone street as its pursuers chased after it, yowling loudly. The cat spun around as it reached a dead end, screeching to a halt. It slammed its eyes shut, waiting for the tear of fur, but a loud meow from above made it open them again. “HEY!” A large, dark shape crashed down in front of the kitten’s pursuers, stopping them in their tracks. The small cat peered out from behind it as it moved away, though still shielding him from his attackers, a burly brown tabby with scars snaking all over him and a black tabby with hollow yellow eyes. “You messin’ with this kid?”
The black tabby sneered, flexing his muscles. “Maybe, maybe not. What about it? Who are you anyways?”
“They call me Tux,” said the cat, her green eyes flashing. “And you’re in my territory, chasing my cats.” The brown tabby rolled his eyes, smirking.
“Oh, please,” he purred. “You’re just some scrawny alley cat who fancies herself a leader. I’d even say you’re all on your own.” Tux said nothing to this, only flicked her tail. The next second, countless cats of sizes and colors poured from the rooftop, tails twitching and claws sharp.
“Say that to my pack,” hissed Tux. The tabbies now looked terrified, their tails puffing out behind them. The scarred one slowly backed away, hissing, and vanished around a corner, the black tabby close on his heels. The kitten was watching with wide, amazed eyes as Tux turned to him.
“Oh, thank you! Thank you, thank you! I thought I was done for!” he mewed. Tux smiled, taking lead in front of the rest of her pack, and let the little cat trot alongside her.
“It’s fine, kid,” she said. “In these parts, no one gets bullied.”
