Red Quee

Red Queen RP
--------------
Note: You do not have to read Red Queen to be a part of this, although it would be helpful.
**WARNING: There WILL be spoilers for Red Queen, but not Glass Sword. If you are planning to read Red Queen, I suggest you not participate in this RP. . .
--------------
Anyhow, I haven't made an RP in awhile, and I just read Red Queen (an amazing book, by the way), and wanted to make an RP for it. . .
This RP will be an alternate Red Queen: What if Mare Barrow never existed?
A preface- (please read before making your charrie; this important.)
The country of Norta is divided by blood. Silvers are powerful god-like beings, and Reds are normal humans who are practically slaves to the Silvers.
Norta is ruled by King Tiberias Calore the Seventh, Flame of the North, and Queen Evangeline Samos. Their firstborn, Prince Tiberias Calorethe Eighth is about to hold a Queenstrial to decide the next queen of Norta.
Meanwhile, the Scarlet Guard has been raising an army of newbloods, with the help of Julian Jacos, a Red sympathizer. The Scarlet Guard plans to strike hard at the royals of Norta during the Queenstrial.
For those of you who haven't read Red Queen:
Silvers all belong to a House, which are all sorted by power. When the prince comes of age, each house may enter a daughter into the Queenstrial (sort of like a paegent) to display the family's strength and power.
The Scarlet Guard is a rebel organization trying to make Reds and Silvers equal. They are led by Captain Farley.
Spoiler Alert!!!!!!!-------
Newbloods are Reds with Silver powers, and are stronger than both Reds and Silvers. Newblood powers are basically more extreme versions of Silver powers. For example a Newblood might have the power to create hurricanes (a more powerful version of a House Noelle) Newbloods have the power to create, while Silvers can only manipulate.
Sorry that this is so long guys! I promise, it's almost over.
------
For your charrie:
You can either be a Silver competing in the Queenstrial (girl charries only, sorry), a Silver not competing in Queenstrial (both genders) , a member of the Scarlet Guard, or a Newblood. Each person may have 2 charries, and 15 people may join. Please try to have an even number of each character.
Also, here's a list of Houses if you're going to be a Silver (1 person per house) :
House Viper (animos; controls animals)
House Titanos (oblivions; can cause explosions on contact)
House Noelle (storms; can manipulate the weather)
House Jacos (singers; think charmspeak)
House Samos (magnetrons; can bend and control metal)
House Welle ( greenwardens; can make plants grow)
House Iral (silks; perfect balance and agility)
House Arven (silencers; can take away a Silver's powers)
House Blonos (blood healers; can heal themselves)
House Eagrie (eyes; can see the immediate future)
House Gliacon (shivers; can manipulate ice)
House Haven (shadows; can bend light)
House Macanthos (stoneskins; can transform into stone)
House Osanos (nymphs; can manipulate water)
House Provos (telkies; have telekinesis)
House Rhambos (strongarms; superhuman strength)

@Impunity Jane,

I changed the plot the slightest bit. You won't be on a solo mission to stop Adelina, 'kay? You're going to help Marietta sneak the Scarlet Guard into the palace during Queenstrial instead.

Marietta~

“Captain, you asked to see me?” I poke my head in through Captain Farley’s office door.

“Ah, yes, Marietta. I have an assignment for you.” She winks. “We still need our regular undercover agents around here.” I immediately know what she’s talking about. Newbloods have been flooding in from all provinces, each one more powerful than the last. The newest, Serena List from the Lakelands can literally make stars. “You’ll be working with Amelinda Wisp in the Hall of the Sun until Queenstrial. From there, you’ll sneak us in to the event.” I gulp, knowing that this mission is the big break we’ve all been waiting for. One slip could destroy us all. “And you’ll have to be on your guard. Adelina Merandus will be there.” I shiver, thinking of Elara Merandus, the whisper who almost destroyed us once. “You leave immediately.”

Because I can't really do anything on the Scarlet Guard, can I come on this trip? If I can, I am going to post something below. If not, ignore it.

I go the office of Captain Farley.
"You want see me"
"Yes. You will go to the Hall of the Sun as the daughter of a Lakelander ambassador to go and see Queenstrial. You will be going with two girls who are undercover as maids, Marietta and Amelinda. Learn MORE in this envelope ."
She give me the envelope and I take it.
"Thank you."

Marietta~
The Hall of the Sun is teeming with people. Not just Red servants, but Silvers and Sentinels, making sure that every inch of the Spiral Garden is perfect for the High Houses and the royal family. My stomach clenches suddenly, thinking of the plan ahead.
Serena will attend the proceedings disguised as a Lakelander. She is one, after all. Amelinda will be the distraction. With her powers, she can blow a hole in the garden just as easily as I can snap my fingers. And me? Hopefully Serena and Amelinda will draw enough attention to the garden—away from the Hall, where I’ll sneak the Guard in.
Suddenly a silence falls over the Hall, and all of the Reds shrink back near the walls. They’re here. I peek down the hallway to see which Houses are arriving.
First comes the Gliacons, turning the ground to frost with each step. I shiver, despite the warm sunshine that breaks through the windows. The girl next to me gasps suddenly, and I see the next family. Merandus. The most dangerous house yet. Immediately, I blank my mind, thinking of nothing but work, work, work. I feel Adelina’s gaze pass over me, and at the same time, a chill in my head. She’s sifting through my thoughts. I can feel her, glancing at my chores, my hopes, my dreams. I can only stand, silent, only hoping that she won’t find what matters most.
Thankfully, she moves on, casting a disinterested glance at me. I let out a sigh of relief. Now I can only hope that Amelinda hides her thoughts as well as I do.

Adelina~
Before. . .
House Gliacon enters the Hall a split second before we do.
“Not to worry, dear Adelina,” Grandfather whispers in my mind. “The Gliacon girl will not win the throne by being early.” He chuckles at the thought.
I nod, and we enter the Hall of the Sun. The Gliacons have turned the floor to ice, a futile attempt at displaying their power. We walk through the Halls, with no need to show off. A hush immediately falls over the servants, and they know what we can do. I pass over minds, making sure they feel my cold touch, and stop at one in particular. The girl is unremarkable, with mousy brown hair and hazel eyes, but when I passed over her, she blanked her mind. What does she have to hide? I sift through her thoughts, finding nothing important, and eventually move on. I’ll deal with her later. We continue down the Hall, until we reach the Spiral Garden when a cloud of dust explodes beneath my feet. I stumble suddenly, regaining my poise, and turn to glare at the smirking servant girl. I’ll deal with her too.

September, it would have just felt like the ground under your foot jumped. I didn't put a lot of dust because it would have been seen. But calling me a "smirking servant girl" is the best description I've heard in a while. :)

I don't really know what to do anymore. September, can you please keep the mission going a bit more? Then, I'll probably get the feel and start writing.

Yeah...I don't want to mess up the Scarlet Guard side of things by writing Queenstrial and then having something big and catastrophic happen the wrong way. I'd rather have someone with a Guard charrie at least detail their plan first.
