Any comments or ideas relating to biomes and their inhabitants in our realm will be a reply to this main biome comment.
My ideas:
•Rainforest inhabited by indigenous people
•Island archipelago inhabited by horses with varying degrees of magical ability
•Wilderness inhabited by anything but humans

I'd say mountains! Ooh, have you heard of cloud forests? We could base it off of those!
Look up cloud forests!
How about there's this mountain that's an extinct volcano, and long ago (this is where the historians come in) it spewed green lava with magical properties? So any rock taken from the mountain can . . . have healing powers . . . or poison, or something of the sort! And the dirt is magical, so the plats that grow in its dirt also are magic and . . .

And how about there's a bird that only lives in cloud forests (There are such things in real life) that's gold? The Golden-Winged Crane! (Since I'm a dictionary nerd, I might reconsider the name.) It's sacred, and people pray to the bird and finding one of its feathers is a good omen! It can fly all the fly to the tops of the mountains!

Perhaps. I like the idea of a cloud forest; also, consider what you want the word Ariasol to mean, which may decide the wildlife and/or biome of the land.

Since you're leaving, I thought I'd take matters into my own hands. I was thinking no humans and only griffons. Ariasol is an island—cloud forest—with griffons on it. There are no humans because they couldn't find the island to infect it.

Oh, I must've missed that. Any ideas? I'm in over my head... I've made about two graphic organisers, three flow charts, and several to-do lists, but nothing seems to work. I need help.

That's a cool idea! But remember, this is a judged contest. The judge will be more likely to choose a world that they connect with, a more humanoid species like elves or fairies or sprites.

They also might be inspired by the astonishing humanity of inhuman species. Consider all outcomes.
So I was thinking that Ariasol would be an island. Maybe its inhabitants, griffons or not, divided themselves into districts. If so, we'll work that out. I'll be an acting Artist and Dictionary Nerd, seeing as the appointed ones seem to have vanished. Except you.
