So my mom really wants me to write a book for this year cuz we havnt really done that sort of thing for a while so yeah, that's what I'm doing.
Basically its a single write that I'm converting into a story. :-)
Fox and owl have lived in harmony for millenia, the two kings. Great fox and Great owl have made sure of this, sharing feasts and prey and passing trade to one another.
However each king remembers their past well, the time when war ran savage between the two tribes and their extinction was sure.
They have banned all magii from existing since then.

RULES & INFO:
Magii are foxes or owls who are cursed with magic. Foxes, telepathy whilst owls have the ability to turn invisible.
They are born with the curse and are usually put to death as soon as their powers are found out. Some however live and are hunted down, dying of a torturous execution.
Rules:
Seven people may join as MC, four owls three foxes. Ill only have MC but if you have any ideas for a side character that will be appreciated.
They HAVE to be a owl or a fox. Otherwise I'll take them as a side character >:(

Name: Twyla Berke
Fox/owl species: Barn owl, also known as Tyto Alba
Appearance: Um, look up barn owl. I am your average barn owl...just look them up, except for one thing: barn owl eyes are completely black. Mine has a hint of gold.
Personality: Extroverted, optimistic, creative, loves reading, caring although she doesn't always know what to say. When excited, can come across as a bit weird. She's hesitant when it comes to making big decisions, and prefers to plan things out. She likes to laugh and make people laugh.
Power strength: Hmm. 80? If you want more, then 85. If you want less, then 73.
Background: Lives with younger sibling (bro or sos, you can decide) her dad who is very devoted to the rules of the kingdom, and a mother...she can be in the picture or not, it doesn't matter. Her parents are out for hours at night on hunting, so she gets lots of free time where she goes out and hangs out with her friends. Her younger sibling keeps her secret and doesn't tell her parents as long as she goes and gets a caterpillar for him/her, because they're a treat to him/her; their parents never get him caterpillar.

Appearence: A pretty typical Arctic fox, but with sea green eyes.
Personality: Very smart, wise, and calm. Suave, a bit teasing. The ultimate "sly fox".
Power strength: 100/100

Part 1!!!!!!!
A soft breeze tugged at Amias' pelt, gently licking at his ears like a mother might.
A mother, or maybe a father. Maybe both.
Amias mused over these thoughts. Wishing he could imprint the images of his parents on his memory the same way he could jot down his thoughts for later remberence.
But the portrayal was fleeting. As if they had never existed.
And now they were lost from recollection. Like a dead tree, or a squashed bug.
Amias sighed. Resting his head between his paws.
Amias!
Amias clenched his jaw from yelling out. He turned his gaze toward a black fox, her eyes narrowed down to slits.
Amias felt his heart sink. It was kooni, leader of the magii fox and tormentor for him.
Kooni leapt on top of Amias, pinning him to the ground in forced submision.
You blared your thoughts for all to hear like the mindless beast that you are.
She snarled, forcing her claws deeper into Amias' legs.
Do you KNOW how many careless pups like you have led our kind to extinction? Do you KNOW how many of us are already dead?
She sunk her claws deeper.
Your parents are the only thing keeping me from sliting your throat right now.
Her grip softened as she stepped back. A growl reverberating at the back of her throat.
You will eat last tonight. AFTER kniloo.
Amias felt a snarl tickle at his lips but he held it back.
He bowed his head, careful to keep it blank while kooni strode past. He felt her gaze burn at the back of his neck but remained silent.
Finnaly she left, disappearing past the dense foliage.
Amias waited for a moment then let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding.
Thousands of thoughts split through his brain. The trees, the earth, the insects...
Amias groaned, slipping the emotions into the background of his mind.
He felt the weight of being a magii slip onto his shoulders once more. And every dark thought that came along with it.
He sighed carefully starting back toward the pack's den, in no rush.
There would be nothing but bones anyway.

Chapter 1 part 2
Kaana was trapped.
She felt the weight of their thoughts on her brain bearing down on her like stone.
"You can't escape magii scum." Hissed a silver fox.
His lips curled into a snarl, signaling the others to do the same. Kaana gripped her prey tighter, the sting of blood raw on her tongue.
Her tail brushed against the rock face, kaana felt her heart drop. There was no escape, nothing.
Suddenly a yelp of pain erupted from a bergundy fox, imperceptible talons raking across his side.
The silver one laid his ears flat against his skull, a deep growl emitting from his throat.
Kaana smiled smugly.
Another fox screeched, clawing at his neck deftly.
"What are you doing!" The silver fox seethed.
Nothing
A white fox wailed, a red slit slowly being drawn across her side.
I would suggest however that you start doing something before my friend comes along.
Silver fox tucked his tail between his legs, his eyes fidgeting from one fox to the next.
"y-you filth, stop this at once!"
The one at his side barked a pathetic squeal before he went limp, blood spilling from his leg.
Yes sir.
Kaana felt herself being lifted, concealed wings struggling with her extra weight.
"Nooo, you-no, AAAAARGH!!!"
Kaana couldn't help but smile at the disoriented expression that flooded his face the moment she was beyond reach.

They landed nearly half an hour later, the sun now dipping her first flares into the horizon.
Kaana imediately spit out her prey, cocking her head in the direction of her savior.
"Um..."
She could almost feel her hot glare.
"Let's go inside,"
Kaana perked her ears, gently shifting her paws around so she was facing her.
"Ferryl,"
Silence.
"I'm going in kaana." Hissed ferryl.
"Ferryl you cant-"
Kaana cursed under her breath, following ferryl's shadow into the cave.
A soft string of light spilled into the darkness, branching out through the caverns like a spider's web. The beams illuminating the crystal walls on either side of kaana. They turned into another cavern this one carpeted in silver moss. From ceiling to floor.
Ferryl whispered a few words and a blue flame ignited, spliting through the darkness.
Kaana sighed, letting the flame burn through her vision.
"Kaana," kaana shifted her gaze over to ferryl. Her brown feathers slowly fading back to their original density and contrast.
kaana gasped.
"You got-no-but when- how?" Ferryl glared at her for a moment then sighed.
She hooked her talons into the silver band that coiled around her throat and pulled. Her feathers faded till she was invisible again. A small spark clicked, ferryl winced as her feathers returned.
"I escaped, that's all that matters." She mumbled.
"No it isn't," kaana choked, already inky fingers were prodding up ferryl's neck like cracks in a wall.
"It'll kill you ferryl, you have to go back."
"I'd rather die then go back there," she spat.
"Ferryl for once in your life stop being so stubborn, if you go back there might be a chance you can escape again but without the lifesucking necklace."
Ferryl glared at her.
"And what if I do and they NEVER take it off kaana, what then?"
"Then we force them to take it off, wether they like it or not."
Ferryl sighed, her eyes prodding over kaana like one would examine a science paper.
"Kaana listen, you dont know what theyre do-"
"They're killing off innocent magii for the sake of one stupid war, I KNOW what's going on ferryl, stop acting like I dont."
Kaana glowered down at her.
"I wont stop stop kaana because you DONT know what's going on, they're not just killing them, they're..theyre."
She paused for a moment then sighed.
"Theyre controlling them kaana."
Kaana gasped, her ears flinching down to her skull.
"But thats-"
"It IS possible, theyve upgraded they're collars so they not only slowly kill magii but control them AND they're powers as well."
Kaana recoiled into a ball, images of her parents nearly murdering her that night...
"But....why?"
Ferryl flinched slightly a glaze falling over her eyes.
"Because great owl wants to start another war."
