Kooni the prophet slept.

In Kooni's dreams, she stood in the Hakamok Forest, ghostly wolves surrounding her. "Wh-why am I here?" she stammered, trembling in fear. A silvery wolf spoke. "We have brought you here to speak to you." he thundered. "In the time of darkness, a wolf from each pack will bring the light." "Huh?" Kooni wondered aloud.

Suddenly, the wolves dissappeared in a puff of glimmering smoke. Kooni was alone the woods. A distant howl sounded in the distance, and a twig cracked somewhere around her. Growling came from all around her, but before she could run, shadowy monsters appeared. Their menacing red eyes flashed in malice, and their long, spiked tails swished in unison. Then they leapt.

Kooni awoke, shaking all over. Her grassy nest was kicked up and mutilated, while outside, the full moon shone like a white eye. "In the time of darkness, a wolf from each pack will bring the light." Kooni shuddered, remembering her encounter with the ghost-wolves. That dream seemed so vivid. She stretched, got out of her nest, and headed off towards the Alpha's den.

I roared angrily and put on a  burst of speed but the Candor wolf that had trespassed on MY territory and had stolen MY prey still stayed ahead. Either the Candor wolf succeeded or he succeeded and Yas was not going to let the other wolf win or there were going to be serious consequences. Up ahead was the slight rocky cliff(about ten meters tall) that marked the edge of Yas's territory. The wolf bounced feet-first off the cliff's sides and a bit clumsily ended up on the top. The wolf turned and exaggerated me running, before trotting away to his territory. He's taking away my prey and winning!I thought angrily. The terrible anger and hate I felt powered me the distance to the cliff and up it too in several seconds. I leapt on him, snarling and with lightning speed, slitted his throat. The wolf let out a gurgle and fell limp. He was dead. I felt a tiny bit of regret but it caused Yas to get even angrier. He scowled at the wolf. Why didn't he kill him in a more painful way? Slitting the throat resulted in a painless and quick death. He should of thrown him into the gorge or something else. Yas tore the rabbit out of the wolfs jaws before starting to trot away. "Hey you"said an aggressive voice. Yas pretended he didn't hear and kept going. "You there stop"said the same voice. This time Yas stopped, pretended to listen and kept going. "I SAID STOP!!!!!"screamed the unknown creature. Now Yas had to definitely stop now. Even a deaf animal could have heard that four miles away. Yas slowly turned around. "What are you doing so close to Candor wolf territory"said a grizzled cream wolf. "Uummmm..."  Yas stammered."Hey what's that near you?" Before Yas could react the strange wolf was examining the dead Candor wolf. "YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"sreamed the wolf and with a massive paw smacked Yas across the face, but that was the only thing Yas remembered before he blacked out.

OK confession:Yas is going to be an evil character

Okay, just to clear things up, Lykos is in the Ferocious Pack. Could someone please post listing who is in what Pack?

So, I'm gonnna post now...... Hope I did it right!

Lykos~

I sigh as Skaal hops off the Ice Podium and heads back to her den. At sunrise? A million hours from now. I love moving. I geuss I'm just restless. Wars? Fine. Hunts? Love them. But other wolves dying? Not much. But hopefully their won't be bloodshed, as both packs don't want to lose anyone, especially when so little cubs have been born this year. Anyways, blood attracts bears and other predators. I slowly pad into the forest. This'll be a good place to spot prey and-what?

No. I see a Mystery Wolf, a Fox, and the Mystery wolf Pack. I don't like to tangle with the Mystery Wolves, but this is our land. Anger sharply rises out of me and I growl to the wolves; "Your in Ferocious Pack Territory. Get out or I might fight you." What I just said is an empty threat, and they knew it. Wolves don't kill. The loser usually just slinks off. But they notice my bigger-than-normal paws and the claws on them. One of them steps forward. "I know, we will clear out of your territory soon, but this is Pack business. We are dealing with one of our clan. Please, let us stay for a few moments to talk with out clanmate." I slowly nod and back away. The wolves continue to talk to the she-wolf with ice scars. LOTS of ice scars. The fox is slowly slinking away.... doesn't look like she has too much meat on her, but enough.

I slowly walk away from her and I hear the promising crunch of paws on snow as she tries to get past me. I wirl and pounce. "One wrong move and your dead meat wolf. If you don't fight me, or struggle, I might let you go, and you can trust my word I won't go after you, but only if you help my pack with something...."

Hmm... I might take the pack listing into consideration...

~Reval~

Reval watched as the other wolves chowed down on the caribou the hunters had caught. Her stomach rumbled hungrily. She lay her head on her paws and sighed. I'll be lucky if I get something to eat tonight. she thought.

After being demoted to an omega for being 'dangerous', Reval never got enough to eat. It seemed that her pack ate everything before she got a bite. Even her own mother scarfed down more that enough just so she would starve. Everywolf hated Reval now. She was a shape-shifter, and shape-shifters were considered 'harmful', especially if they kept their powers secret.

The other omega, Oo, got up. It was his turn to eat. Reval watched as he gobbled up the remains of the carcass, barely leaving anything for her. He trotted back to the omega's spot, and gave Reval a cruel smirk. He leaned down and whispered meanly, "Have a nice meal."

Reval sighed again. She looked down at the reindeer skeleton. It was mostly bone with a few scraps of meat. Reval stuck her snout into the bone and dug in.

@Chinchilla: did Lykos just pounce on Uukarnit (the fox)? I'll pretend he did.

"What do you want?" I hiss at this wolf. I've been through enough today, what with stealing food and having my den ripped to shreds.

He answers...

Yep Brookeira, Lykos DID just pounce on Uukarnit! (By the way, she has a cool name! Mine is just the Greek word for wolf.....)

Lykos~

"What do you want?" The fox hisses at me. I smile. "You're a fox. Foxes like being clever. One of the Candor Clan has been seen in our territory. Help me find a way to scare them away without bloodshed. And also, if you know any good hunting grounds, tell me where they are." The fox scowls and replies; "What? And leave all the good hunting for your filthy pack? Never. And if you want to ask me any favours, I'll only do one of them. Not both." I growl and bare my teeth, the fox flinches, but doesn't say anything. Well, the fox does need a way to survive. I'll make an exception about being horrible to foxes just this once. I say; "Okay, fine, just show me two good hunting spots for my pack and I'll let you go." The vixen shakes her head. "I won't make bargains like that, you'll just follow me back to my den and make me show you the other spots." I press harder onto her chest.

"For that rudeness you have to also find out the Candor Clan's plans."

"How about I show you their plans and you let me go?" She says, wincing as I dig my claws into her.

"You're in no position to make bargains."

She smiles. "That's what you think."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, sorry for controlling Uukarnit, Brookeira, hope that wasn't too bad. Who will come across a fox and a wolf ijn the forest? Maybe a shape-shifter, hungry after a nothing-meal...... MWHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA
"That's what you think."
Snow flies up and hits the wolf's face. I scramble up and out. The effort of using my power this much today is tiring, but I won't let it show.
"Look, wolf," I say calmly, "I can make your pack seem like everyone in it has some sort of godlike power over snow. All I require is food."
"Why would that help?" the wolf says, growling, ready to pounce. I smile.
"The Candor Clan may be letting wolves in to fight for territory. If you ever find some while on border patrol, I can hide in the bushes and make it look like you guys are attacking them with ice and snow."
The wolf thinks.
"Alright," the wolf says, "I think-"
Suddenly something crashes through the trees-
Sukaar~
Nephele and I had started out by hunting, but I soon realized our supply of marigold was dwindling. I kept gathering it before Nephele, exsasperated, said "Why don't you just go look for marigold?!" I nodded, slightly hurt, but continued ahead. In the winter though, there wasn't much, and i soon realized, if I didn't find marigold, I would have to ask a different pack for help. Since I was a medicine wolf, I knew I would not be attacked. So I headed to the nearest territory. I was so caught up in thinking about my dream, that I wasn't trying to be quiet. But I heard something as I neared the Ferocious Pack territory line.
"Help me rid us of the Candor Pack."
"How about you get your paws off me?"
"Your in no position to make deals right now."
"That's what you think."
"Look, I can make it so that-" The voice quieted, and I strained to hear it.
"Alright, I think that-"
As I got closer, I stepped on a twig and the voices cut short. I heard paw steps coming towards me, and I got back on my side of the border, pretending to be nosing for herbs, and trying to calm my fear scent.
"Oh. What do you want, Sukaar?" The wolf growled. I looked up, suprised.
"Oh, hello Invagor.(I know I misspelled that...I  sorry) I am just looking for some marigold. I didn't mean to bother you." My fear scent threatened to come out, and I pushed it back.
This is the revised edition of part one.
Yas pumped his muscles faster, but they wouldn't go."Stop!"he screeched. The wolf went faster, kicking up a large flurry of snow. He tried one last time."Stop!you are tresspassing on mountain territory and stealing mountain prey!Drop the rabbit and flee right now!" He yelled. "I'll flee with the rabbit"snickered the wolf.
Suddenly a cliff appeared looming on the horizon. That ought to stop him, Yas thought angrily. But no, the wolf raced raced right up it. At the top the wolf tore off the rabbits tail and threw it off the cliff, before trotting away.
Only a Candor wolf would do that! That word "Candor" sent terrible hate and anger through him. Tremendous energy soared through his muscles. He covered the distance to the cliff in several seconds and in one bound was at the top.
He leapt on the wolf and in one quick movement slitted his throat. He Hmmphed at the dead wolf and took the rabbit from his jaws. Then all of a sudden someone leapt on him and Yas blacked out.
continuation: part two
I drowsily opened my eyes and saw two Candor wolves standing over me. My automatic reflex sent them sprawling on the ground. Seeing that I was in the Candor wolf camp, I darted toward the entrance, but then a massive paw slammed me to the ground. I tried writhing my way out of his paw-hold, but he grabbed my scruff with his teeth and shook me. I couldn't move, I couldn't react, and I was helpless. The unknown wolf was biting my scruff so hard, that blood was trickling down my neck. He carried me to the two wolves.
"Taking it easy boys?"said the wolf holding my scruff in a muffled voice. "Oh, no sir"answered the two wolves at the same time and both whacked me. Hard." You have to be careful with this fox, it murdered Obi, said the wolf holding me, now put him in the tree roots!" With a rush of terror I remembered the wolf I'd killed. The wolf holding me  threw me into a tangle of roots and stepped back. The two wolves stepped forward and with remarkable speed weaved the entrance back up. "Enjoy"said all three wolves at the same time, before trotting away. I already knew before looking around to see that I was helplessly and utterly trapped.
Also........Why is every body ignoring me just because I'm new?
Sorry for not replying to your question earlier, Kristy. I couldn't get to you at the time. Also, you think people are ignoring you? Hm... Well I guess the other characters haven't interacted with you. I'm sorry about that.
~Reval~
Run. Reval's mind screamed. Run.
Reval lumbered through the forest, crashing through the trees. An angry pack of wolves were hot on her tail, and fear pulsed through her body, adding strength to her legs.
Suddenly, Reval crashed into a snowy clearing. Her polar bear eyes spotted a rocky outcrop, and underneath was a little den. Reval noticed it smelled familiar, but she didn't care. She morphed into a wolf and dove into it.
Inside the den, she smelled an incredibly familiar scent. It's the vixen who stole my hare! she realized. Another wolf was inside the cave as well, and he was covered in snow. "Er... Did I-" Before Reval could finish her scentence, a furious howl ripped through the air.
~Scaal
It was morning. Scaal streached, opener her large muzzle in a yawn,  and ended it in a snarle. Battle time.
She slank from her cave, licking her canines. She looked around the camp, finding it empty.
And she howled, long and high pitched.
The battle cry.
There was a moment of silents, before her howl was echoed by many from the dens dotting the clearing. Some even answered from deep in the forest.
She lept onto the ice rock, and waited as drowsy wolves exites from their dens, yawning and licking their muzzles. The rocks trembled and the hunting party returned with jaw-fulls of prey. Their secret battle stash. Which never went to waist. Always burried in the snow that never melted year round, for special ocations. Like war.
"Eat up. Feast while you can. For some it may be your last meal. If we are lucky. And this battle is fun and not a pitiful surrender right away."
The pray was thrown in the clearing and all the wolves dug in. There was no rank rules when it came to feasts.
The beta hopped on the rock beside Scaal, and dropped a half of deer at her feet before jumping back off and savagly tarring into the other half.
It was tradition for the beta and alpha to split a deer before battle. The alpha aways got the front while the beta got the back. If they win the battle, the alpha leaves the antlers in the enemy wolf's camp.
When they were done, Scaal picked up the antlars and yelled, "TOO BATTLE!"
The wolves howled back in union, "TO BATTLE!"
The howl echoed around the small camp, an Scaal bounded out into the forest, followed by the beta and the Furious pack.
Candor pack will pay.
The battle has begun.
