Blackout RP

I know that this RP might a somewhat "hardcore" rp. It's going to have an abundance of action and peril.

Excited? I know I am.

It is the year 2043. The City of Freya is the largest city in the world: a metropolis, with an uptown of shimmering marble and a downtown of shacks and ruthless gangs. The uptown is ruled by incredibly rich families; the downtown is ruled by old rivals, the Irish and Italian mafia who have resurged in the past years.

Once a year, the city falls victim to a week-long blackout. The blackout was created to conserve energy in such a large city.

During the blackout, the word "crime" becomes meaningless. Looters pour out of the woodwork like termites, pillaging uptown stores and houses.

The blackout is so dangerous that there are no police on the streets; the lines are mysteriously disconnected.

It would be a shame if we happened to be locked out of our houses during the week.

The downtowners are ready. The uptowners are rushing to prepare.

Let the Blackout begin.

Name: Jenevieve O'Donnel

Appearance: Red hair (see backstory), green eyes, pale with scattered freckles. Looks like a stereotypical Irish waif. Wears a green shirt and dark blue jeans with an anchor embroidered on them.

Personality: A hardcore realist, uses fantasy novels to escape. Hostile to strangers, especially people from the Italian mafia (because, well, they probably want to kill her).

Uptowner or Downtowner: Downtowner

Backstory (PLEASE write a decent one!): Was born into the Irish mafia and is trying to get a scholarship and escape her family

It would be awesome if someone could make a guy from the Italian mafia and then they could fall in love I mean eventually become friends...
