Okay:so.
You are one of the lucky preformers/stage crew members/composers/coreographers who has been invited to lend your talents to the Locter International Theatre, the famous vaudiville theater, known for it's sensational acts, spectacular performances, and unusual talents. But the "Last true Variety Show on earth" has a few dark secrets.
Why is the left backstage door always found open the next day, even after being locked with the most advanced security? Who is the dark figure who always sits in seat 7A on Wednesday? Why do preformers get strange tics that prevent them from preforming their act? And where are all the dance shoes going? You're charries must band together to figure out these strange happenings, while trying to put on the biggest show of their lives...
You can be a) a preformer b) stage crew c) a coreographer d) a ticketholder, with ability to travel bacstage.

Job:Stage Manager
Appearance: Rather short, but when angry, can appear twice her size (figuratively), with long, red hair that is always in a ponytail, two different colored eyes (blue and brown), and always wears black (because duh.) she also always has her headset with her, and a coffee mug (she is seriously addicted to caffene)
Personality:Is very calm normally, but needs everything to be done just right, otherwise her firey sie comes out. She will help people get on and offstage easily.
Other:She is basically in charge of entrances and exits, and set progress. Don't mess with her.
Name:Esther Brown
Age:13
Job: She is a hoofer, which basically means shes a comedy go-to:dances, sings, acts, does comedy well. Like Cosmo Brown (a.k.a Donald O'Connor) in Singin' in the Rain.
Acts: Does the midtime show called "Lab Time" (a sketch centered around a science lab), any song and dance act, and will help "host" on the "Interview Time!" sketch, witch is really acting, and for people's enjoyment.
Appearance: Has mid-length, curly brown hair, and twinkling brown eyes. Shehas a dusting of freckles on her nose, and when not in a specific costume, she wears a T-shirt, jeans, converse, and a Brooklyn Dodgers baseball cap.
So, that's it! Will come up with a list of acts later. You can also suggest songs from real musicals we can preform!

Age: 17
Job: She is a musician- a violinist.
Act: She is the star of a string orchestra act called 'The Rosins'. She stands on her head, dances, and does flips while playing classical, bluegrass, movie, and pop songs.
Appearance: Long, straight, silky black hair. Pale skin. Green eyes. Wears a fancy, flowy dress and wedges.

Age:13
Job: A jack-of-all-trades actress; has been doing theater since she was two.
If performer, act: Does "Lab Time" with her best friend Esther (is that OK?), also does Shakespeare plays.
Appearance: Constantly messy brown hair, an "absent-mided professor" look about her when she doesn't have her "dashing adevnturer" look on. Has green eyes.
Personality: A gerd or neek (geek/nerd), but has multiple personalities; she can act like an absentmided scholar or Indiana Jones. She often loses herself in theatrical roles.
Other: Secretly writes excellent plays.

Aw, man! I wanted to call SM! Oh, well. Question, though. The way you described the SM's job, she's backstage. Usualy, though, what you said she does is the ASM's job; the SM is at the tech booth, calling all the cues for the tech crew which are later carried out. Sorry, if I'm being picky, but I was a stage manager for a show at our school (It was SO MUCH fun).
Name/Nicknames: Bridget Crawford
Age: 20
Job: Assistant stage manager
If preformer, act:
Appearance: She's average height, and has dark brown hair that is usualy pulled back in a braid. She has soft, hazel eyes thaat show all her emotions like a mirror. She has a small nose, and a smile that blossoms slowly and earnestly. She always carries a toolkit, consisting of a notebook, a pen, duct tape, and safety pins.
Personality: She is usualy quiet, but she has an angry side of her that most people never get to see. She kind of bottes up her emotions intill she bursts, and ends up either screaming or in tears (doesn't happen often). She is always doing something, most of which she doesn't get credit for, but often is blamed when something doesn't go right. She is incredibly active, and, in her own, quiet way, really helpful in a crisis.
Other: ASM is a kind of under-appreciated position, but they do a lot of work to keet the show going. People often disregard her instructions, as she looks soft-tempered, and she ends up doing things for them. However, when things really need to get done, she has the grit to make sure they do, as well as get them done herself. She's a great multi-tasker.
Hey, Leafpool, I was thinking it would be cool if Lissity and Bridget had a secret dislike for each other. It would add some cool tension. Would you mind? I think it would be fun :).

That's interesting. At my theater that I preform at, the SM is the one backstage who gets the props ready...and yells at us to be quiet. XD. How 'bout this: your charrie is in the tech box, because that seems to be what you feel comfy writing about, and I'll stay backstage.

And, by the way, I would love if they had a rivalry! They think it's secret, but really, everyone knows about it, and it creates some awkward tension on the show.
