HUNGER GAMES FANFICTION!!

HUNGER GAMES FANFICTION!!!

This story will take place during the Fifty-fourth Hunger Games. I will make the charrie who will win to avoid confusion.

Here are the Rules (I'm sorry that there are so many):

-Don't make a character that is very similar to a victor or player in the games. Ex: Don't make a version of Rue from District 3 named Lauren, etc. This also includes: try not to recreate events/places/people from the book. Ex: If you are a District 12 charrie, don't illegally hunt and trade with Greasy Sae at the Hob. The Hob can still exist, but try not to use it or use it in the same way.

-The only mentors/victors that are alive before the start of the Seventy-fifth Hunger Games, in Catching Fire, that (I think) are alive during this time are Haymitch, Mags, Wiress, Beetee, and maybe someone else that I can't think of. Tell me if you can think of one. So, those are mentors from: Districts 12, 4, and 3 (in the order said before). After that, you can make up more mentors from your district.

-Your charrie is a tribute in The Hunger Games. There are only one boy and one girl from each of twelve districts.

-If someone reserves a spot as the boy/girl from a district, and someone else makes the same gender charrie from the same district, the person who makes the charrie first gets it. Also, if one person makes a boy/girl charrie from one district, and another person makes the same gender charrie from the same district, the first person gets to stay as their charrie and the second person has to make a different charrie. I'm sorry if you have to change your charrie.

-Everyone can make one charrie, so there will be 24, including mine. I might allow people two make a second charrie of the other gender, if not many people join.

Basic Idea:

We will start off the story at the reapings in each district.

The arena will look like this: In the center, there is a large, rectangular pit of burning coals. In the center of the coals, there is a rectangular lake. On the short side of the lake, there is a pole with a hook facing up, There, a zipline or a rope with a hole formed by tying a knot can be attached. Most people don't know that the pole is a zipline pole. There is a thin, rectangular path around the pit. After that, until the dome's end, there is a forest full of tall trees that are great for climbing- and attaching a zipline to. The tributes will all be on one long side of the path, and the Cornucopia is on the other long side of the path. It is very hot there, all day and night. It rains a lot, which makes the ground damp, but it only makes the coals sizzle. In the Cornucopia, there are weapons (bows and arrows, spears, swords, knives, etc.-but no tridents: that would have to be a gift); packs full of sleeping bags, pillows, food, ropes, etc.; one zipline; a first aid kit; and maybe something else if someone thinks of it. The only two water sources are the large lake, and a small pond in the woods that tributes will have to find. Only the people in possesion of the zipline and the ropes can get to the lake. It also has to be someone who can swim.

So, here is my charrie (follow the guidlines):

Name: Apple Woods

Gender: Female

Age: 12

District they are from and what that district does (look it up online or in a book if necessary): District 11; Farming; Orchards

Appearance: Thin, to her shoulders, dark brown hair in cute pigtails; brown eyes; dark brown skin; appears harmless.

Personality: Friendly; makes friends easily; being in District 11 has, strangely, not brought her down.

Skills: Climbing trees (of course), martial arts (she was secretly training in it with her strong dad, and she is very strong as well).

Are they a volunteer (yes or no): No

Their strategy (in the games/interviews): She acts and appears harmless, weak, scared, and timid. Then, she attacks back viciously.

Please join!

Aww... I really want to join, but my mom didn't let me read the books or watch the movies. I read about the whole thing on Wikipedia, but it was very brief because there's so much. I would need to still look up a lot, which would make it inconvenient, and I might just be in the way. So...

You actually don't have to have read the series! This takes places 20 years before the series starts. Here is a quick summary of what you need to know:

The Hunger Games were founded because of the Dark Days where the districts rebelled and District 13 was destroyed (actually, they weren't. But, that's not important). The Hunger Games are meant to keep the people in the districts from rebelling.

How the Hunger Games works:

There are 12 districts. One boy and one girl are chosen from each district when their name is picked from a ball. You can also volounteer. In Districts 1, 2, and 4, kids have been illegally training to fight in the games, but no one cares. Those kids volounteer. Some people call them the 'Careers.' The kids that are picked are 12-18 years old and called tributes.

Before the games, all of the tributes go down a line thing-y in chariots in costumes that represent their district. Later on, they go to training where they practice and learn skills. The Gamemakes control the games. Everyone gets a private session with the Gamemakers where they show off their skills. They can get a rating from 0-12, but no one has ever gotton a 0 or a 12 (except in the 75th Hunger Games two people got a 12, but don't count that). There will also be an interview. Their mentors will help them come up with strategies for the games, the training, and the interviews.

In the games, the tributes are raised on platforms, and after 60 seconds (when announced) they go off their platforms into the arena. If they go before that they will be blown up. There will be a Cornucopia full of suplies. The farther away from the Cornucopia you get, the worse the supplies are, until they are gone.

So, in the arena, everyone will kill each other until one person is left. Sometimes the Gamemakers will send dangerous things at tributes to kill them off. Every time someone dies, a cannon is shot. At the end of the day, you can see the faces of the dead of that day. Their mentors can get sponsers who will send gifts. The families and friends of the tributes will get interviewed on day 2. All of this is filmed.

At the Cornucopia, a lot of people are usually killed.

The winner gets to go home and get lots of money and food. They live in the Victors' Village. Their district also gets lots of food.

Halfway in between two Hunger Games, there is a victory tour for the most recent winners. they go to all of the districts and have parties.

Now, the victors are mentors for the new tributes.

I hope that you understand this and will join!

Also, if you have an idea for a mentor, please share it.

For District 11 (follow these guidlines):

Name: Tilly Mose

Age: 17

Appearance: Green eyes; light blonde hair that goes to the bottom of her back; pale, freckled skin.

Personality: Easily angered; has great reflexes; great at fighting; not merciful; took only one ally that someone else killed.

What Hunger Games they won and at what age: 53rd; at age 16

Skills: Using Knives; is very strong from picking cotton all day

Their District and what that District does: District 11; Farming; Picking Cotton

If you see another charrie that you like, you can ask them to be your ally. All of the Careers (From Districts 1, 2, and 4) are allies. They usually don't take anyone else, unless they can be useful in someway.

The skills mean what they are good at, what can come in handy in the Hunger Games, and what weapons they use.
