Pets RP

Ok, so I had this great idea for an RP! So we are going to RP as our pets! You can make as many charries as you have pets, and if you don't have any pets (:-( which would be really sad :-( you can still make a charrie of a pet you would like to have. Here's the sheet.

NAME:

SPECIES:

AGE:

GENDER:

LOOKS:

PERSONALITY:

RANK: (inside dog, outside dog, part of the family, treated like trash [not that anyone treats their pets like trash. That one was kinda unessasary, but I couldn't think of anything else.] etc. this includes rules. What they are allowed to do, sleep on the bed, eat table scraps, etc.)

HOME: (house, doghouse, cage, tank, etc.)

ROOMATES/SIBLINGS/FRIENDS: (don't have to really be related. Just other animals they live with or are friends with)

BACKGROUND:

FUNNY THINGS THEY DO:

NICKNAMES:

OWNER/MAIN CARETAKER:

OTHER:

PICTURE: (optional. Feel free to post pics or drawings of your pet/s)

here's mine. I won't throw them all at you at once. These are only two of them.

NAME: Abi

SPECIES: dog, Labrador Retriever (yellow)

AGE: 12-13 AKA, old

GENDER: female

LOOKS: light yellow/buff colored fur, dark ears, brown eyes, skinny hips, a little overweight, very white face (from old age) and white specks all over her body

PERSONALITY: calm, sweet, gentle, smart, usually obedient (keyword, usually) tired, lazy, old

RANK: part of the family. Like a sister to me.

HOME: house/my room

ROOMATES/SIBLINGS/FRIENDS: Bell, Hammie, Choco, Butterball, Peep, Maple, Lady, Finris (I will make choco, butterball, peep, maple, lady, and Finris later.)

BACKGROUND: we got Abi when I was three. She came from a family with lots of kids, who were about to have another baby, and already had animals. They needed to get rid of Abi, and may have had to give her to the pound if it weren't for us.

FUNNY THINGS THEY DO: fart. Literally. It's disgusting, but also quite hilarious. XD also, steals food, (don't we all ;-)) ate an entire loaf of bread once, figures out the people that are push-overs and begs from them, is good with small animals (hamsters, mice, toads, etc.) plays with bell until she gets annoying, tries to play with me even though she's old.

NICKNAMES: Dibby, Dibs, Jeeves, Abi Jeeves, Abi gees, Abi Dibby, and many more. My pets have strange nicknames that make no sense. Don't judge me.

OWNER/MAIN CARETAKER: me

OTHER: got hit by a car once and lived (obviously) loves Grandmommy and Grandaddy, and has hip arthritis. She is doing very well for her age. She also hates baths, loves Lake Michigan and the beach, and loves snow.

PICTURE: will post later.

NAME: Snowball, but goes by Hammie, or Queen Hammie, as she is more widely known. ;-)

SPECIES: Winter White Dwarf Hamster

AGE: two and a 1/2, pretty old for a hamster

GENDER: female

LOOKS: small, tiny, cute, adorable, white with grey on her back and grey/blue eyes

PERSONALITY: smart, happy, very social, loves people, loves to be held

RANK: part of the family.

HOME: her pink cage in the bathroom.

ROOMATES/SIBLINGS/FRIENDS: see Abi above. It's the same for Hammie, just add Abi to the list and take Hammie off. And add Finney, a hamster friend of hers that passed a few years ago.

BACKGROUND: I got Hammie at petsmart. She grew up in a cage of crabby hamsters. She had a few friends who weren't so rude as the others, though. When the lady who worked there opened the cage and lifted up the hamster's hiding place, the leader of the crabby group screamed and bared it's teeth, while the rest cowered behind it. A few hamsters came out to greet us. It was Hammie and her friends. They hadn't been hiding with the rest. And that's how I got Hammie. (Btw, this is what really happened in real life! XD)

FUNNY THINGS THEY DO: climbs her cage, tries to bust out, loves cheese/cheese puffs/cheese balls and will fill her cheeks up with food so much that she squeaks in frustration (or pain, I'm not really sure :-D) because she can't fit anymore. Loves to climb up sleeves.

NICKNAMES: hams, shams, chukums, sweetness

OWNER/MAIN CARETAKER: me

OTHER: my brother stepped on her when she escaped her mansion* once, and heard a crack. Blood poured out of her mouth, and we called the vet, who said she wouldn't mae it through the night. I still had hope, though, and sure enough the next morning she was alive. Sadly, she was in pain and still injured. Or so it seemed. We planned to take her to the vet that night, but when I got her out she crawled up my sleeve, and ran around like always! After that she ate some cheese and was fine! We've called her the miracle hams ever since, and wonder if she's secretly invincible. She has also fallen on the ground, been tossed on the air, dropped, and rolled down the stairs in her ball countless times and was fine. She has actually had a book written about her (I haven't published it yet) and her two comrades, Robo, and Gertie, who passed on a year or so ago for unknown reasons. *She got a mansion made of cardboard boxes that was huge and had furniture inside for her first birthday, and was named queen.

(this is all true.)

PICTURE: I'll post later.

Now, please join! This will be great fun, I promise! And if you reserve a spot and don't make your charrie in five days, we will start without you, but you can still jump in, and it's never too late to join! You don't have to ask to join! Anyone can join at any time! Have fun, and let's get this thing going!

Name: Bluebell

Species: Dog, Husky mix

Age: 2

Gender: Female

Looks: She's got a Husky head for sure, with white fur with spots of brown. Her eyes are light blue, with a dark blue collar. She's a medium-sized dog on the larger side, with shorter hair on the body (we're thinking she may be part Lab).

Personality: Calm. She's a very calm and quiet dog. She loves being with people and hates being alone; as long as there's someone nearby, she's happy, but she goes crazy when we leave her alone (or, really, when we let her out). That, when she wakes up, and when someone passes through the front (we have upstairs neighbors) are pretty much the only times she barks, and she's got a very loud, deep one. She's also very mischievious-- leave her alone for five minutes and she's stolen the bread.

Rank: Part of the family, really. A lot of rules we agreed on had to be trashed; she can sit on a lot of the furniture (but only downstairs), my parents sometimes feed her stuff when cooking, etc.

Home: Inside.

Roommates/Siblings/Friends: Not applicable, but she goes crazy around small dogs.

Backround: We adopted her only a few months ago. She'd only been in the shelter a few days before then, and same the kill shelter they rescued her from. Before that, she lived under a tractor for three weeks in a state down South.

Funny things they do: She really, really, really likes small dogs. Whenever she sees one, she goes absolutely nuts: she does the whole jump-back-and-approach thing, her tail goes like crazy, she sniffs-- it's so hilarious.

Nicknames: Blue, mostly, but sometimes I call her my belle of blue.

Owner/Main Caretaker: Technically, she's my brother's and my dog. But she recognizes my mom as the alpha.

Other: Not applicable

Picture: The only picture I have is one when we first got her. I have a bunch on my phone, but I can't figure out to transfer files. Maybe when I figure it out I'll post some.

Name: Dex

Species: Catahoula Leopard Hound

Age: 2 1/2

Gender: Male

Looks: A black raccoon mask on his eyes, black speckles all over his coat with gray-silver underlining it. A tan muzzle and paw. A thin, short, speckled tail. About 2.5 feet tall, muscular. Soft fur and very soft ears.

Personality: Silly, excitable, sometimes crazy and rambunctious. He tends to calm down at night, and then he'll roll over and you can scritch him. When he meets a new, big male dog, he can be very scary, as he's big, athletic, and strong. Tends to get extremely protective of his family. Goes insane over squirrels.

Rank: A member of family, but he can't boss us around.

Home: His kennel in the living room. It had a blanket draped over it and pillows on the inside.

Roomates/Siblings/Friends: None. We used to have two black cats and a corgi, but one cat died, the other ran away, and Talley died last year. :(

Background: Dex had just arrived at the GPSPCA from Oklamhoma where he had lived for the past year of his life. He was in a back kennel in a room, but no one went near him because he would bark his head off. Oddly enough, my dad decided that was exactly that dog he wanted, so we took him out and got to know him. At first, he was named Ruckus (because he made a ruckus, haha...), but we knew he was a southern dog breed, so we came up with a very southern name, Dex, and adopted him in July.

Funny things they do: Freezes suddenly for no reason just stands there. Whenever you look out a window and he's outside, he'll just be there. Staring at you. Unblinkingly. Staring. Also, when he scratches his neck, he'll have this smirk on his face. And he smiles a lot, just stares at you and smiles with his big pink tongue hanging out of his mouth.

Nicknames: Wup, Sir Pups-In-Law (my sister came up with that gem), Dexy-Doo

Owner: Me, my sister, my mom and dad

Other: Dex has a blue collar. He ran away a few times. I even had to chase him once and missed my bus. He's okay now, though. He always comes back.

Picture: See below.

Can I join?

Name: Hermes

Species: No clue. He has the coloring of a German Shepherd but the build of a Border Collie. With a slightly shorter muzzle than most Border Collies.

Age: 3-4. He's a shelter dog, so we don't know. But he's somewhere around that age.

Gender: Male

Looks: See Species.

Personality: Sweet, happy, funny, cute, LOVES new people, and very submissive. Plus I can snuggle with him. And he's very energetic.

Rank: Kinda the Omega, but everybody loves him.

Home: The living room and outside and the entryway and the kitchen and dining room. But when we go somewhere we put him in his c-r-a-t-e. (He'd prefer not to be in there)

Roommates/Siblings/Friends: Um, he's not neutered, so... Us?

Background: So, we were thinking about getting a dog. And we visited a shelter, because there were two dogs that we were looking at, from the same litter. One would've been great, he was a family dog, and the other was an aggressiveish guard dog. But if we got one we had to get the other, so we didn't. We looked at all the dogs in the cages, and Hermes was one out of two of the ones not jumping on the walls. And he looked at me pleadingly with his chocolatey brown melty eyes, and I reached in and pet him. He had just run away from his owner, and the shelter found him. The people at the shelter called him Blitzen, but he hadn't been there long and didn't respond to the name. We had to wait two more days to see if his previous owners would come retrieve him, but they didn't. We later found out he can climb fences like they're ladders, but he hasn't done that in a while. All of this is true, no kidding.

Funny things they do: Well, there's a certain way he yawns which makes a sound like MAURP. It's really funny.

Nicknames: Hermes Puppy, Buddy, Bud.

Owner/Main Caretaker: Cho and our Dad.

Other: He only barks if he thinks something's wrong* (handy, I know) and one time our Dad took him to a friend's house who had an AKITA. The Akita (named Dakota) put a hole in his side. Hermes was holding Dakota by the scruff of his neck. But Dakota probably would've won,'cause Hermes couldn't penetrate Dakota's skin. So Papa (our Dad) and his friend pulled them apart.

Picture: I'll post it later.

Bluebell and Dex look great! I'm sure they're wonderful dogs. I will now make another of my pets.

NAME: her full name is Isabell Elenor (I will not put her last name because it is our last name and the Admins don't allow that.) but we call her Bell for short.

SPECIES: Labrador Retreiver, Black (fun fact, black labs were the original lab color, later on, the AKC recognized yellow and chocolate colors as variations.)

AGE: 3 1/3

GENDER: female

LOOKS: she is a slender, black dog with a smooth, shiny coat. Her ears are very soft, but she is smaller than the average lab. We think she was the runt of her litter, which would have contributed to some of her nervous energy. (Below) she has beautiful soulful brown eyes. She is average weight.

PERSONALITY: very, very, very, hyper. When she was younger, some people would have called her aggresive, although that was not true. She is less hyper now, although is still very vivacious. She LOVES people, and all she wants to do is to be around them. She also loves to play. She will play with any living thing, human or animal, or toy. She will also play with things that she isn't supposed to. Like stuffies. This is sometimes bad, because even though she doesn't mean to, she could injure or kill smaller animals such as hamsters or chickens, when trying to just play. She can be very sweet and calm, though, and after her training (see background) she has been much better. She also is afraid of thunder and loud noises, and gets scared of the vet sometimes, but mostly wants the vet to pet her. XD she is also very smart, and can catch on to a new trick in one day.

RANK: she used to have a lower rank in some people's minds, and was usually outside or in her kennell due to being hard to control in the house, but now she is definitely a part of the family and can be inside a lot more. She isn't allowed to jump on beds or couches unless told to, and is allowed to eat scraps, but not steal them. And then about her shock collar. It may seem cruel, but my dad tested it on himself, and said the shock didn't hurt. We use it when she doesn't obey, and it has worked very well. She used to run away at first, but niw she doesn't have to have an invisible fence and can be in the house more. She used to yelp when shocked, and then other times not help even if it was on the same setting. We think she must have gotten startled.

HOME: mostly in the house, in her Kennel when we are gone, but she sleeps in the floor at night now.

ROOMATES/SIBLINGS/FRIENDS: Abi is like a mother to her, and when we first got her, she indeed thought it was true. She still tries to play with Abi, and Abi sometimes will go along with it even if she is sore and tired. She submits to all dogs, and desperately wants to be friends with everyone, human or animal alike. She also likes Lady, my grandparents dog. Abi and Bell both loved my other gramma's dog, Abigail (she coincidentally had the same name as Abi when they got her) but she got cancer and had to be put down. They were both upset and confused when Gramma came to our house without their beloved playmate. X(

BACKGROUND: We got Abi when I was three years old, and I had wanted a puppy my entire life. I didn't want to trade Abi, I just wanted both. Many years later, for my nineth birthday, I got Bell. I knew I was getting her, and helped pick her out, but my dad made the drive to pick her up. He said she was crying in the back seat, and it was so pitiful that he let her sit up front with him.  She was sweet at first, and always has been, but as she got bigger, she got more and more energy.she was house trained easily. But I didn't care that she had energy, and loved her the same for it. After all, I wanted a dog that would play with me, as Abi was always too lazy. XD everyone thought I didn't like her, though that wasn't true. My grandparents thought I should have a little puppy that I could play with and hold, but I didn't want a new puppy. I wanted Bell. Once, she grabbed hold of my jacket and dragged me around the yard. Luckily, my friend and brother were there. My brother distracted her, while my friend and I worked together trying to unzip the jacket. We finally got it undone, but I was bruised and dirty, and Bell kept the jacket. My dad, oblivious to all going on outside, was found playing video games inside. When my Mom heard the news, it was the last straw. I didn't care, though. I had forgiven Bell, and I knew she was only trying to play. But my mom started talking about if I would want a nice, calm, lap dog. She said Bell would be happier on a farm where she could run around. But I wouldn't have it. I wanted Bell and Bell alone would I have. My dad wanted to keep her too. He had a black lab as a kid, and loved labs. We finally found somewhere that would train dogs with good methods. It was a bit expensive, but it was worth it. I went to almost every class with Bell, and learned how to train her better and how to correct her if need be. She also learned to walk on the treadmill. XD though it seems hilarious, and is, it helped a lot. It not only helped with her energy, but with her mental energy as well, since she had to focus to not fall off. She is now happy and obiedient. We moved recently to Kentucky, where she met Lady, Peep, and Maple. She now loves swimming in the pond and running free.

FUNNY THINGS THEY DO: one of the commands Bell was taught at training was 'place', meaning she would get onto a surface raised off the ground, (dog bed, treadmill[ this is part of the treadmill training] etc.) and stay there until given the release command, 'free'. If she wants to be pet or get a toy out of reach, she will creep slowly out of 'place' as if no one will notice. Of course, we do notice, but we usually let it go. She will also try to play with Abi, which is hilarious, and will stick her butt in the air when farting. XD

NICKNAMES: beads, bellerina, bead-do-dodda-lace, and so on.

OWNER/MAIN CARETAKER: me.

OTHER: she has run away before, once to a very rude neighbors house, but has always come back. Also, I think her mothers name was Lucy or something, and her fathers name was Son of a Gun. XD

PICTURE: below

Oh my goodness your guy's dogs are so cute! Um so I might not post that often but I must join! I am only going to do one of my dogs.

Name: Chick

Speacies: Mastador, half mastiff half Labrador.

Age: 9, old for a big dog

Gender: Male

Looks: Very large, all black, brown eyes, soooo cute!

Personality: He sleeps a LOT, but can sometimes be very playful.

Rank: part of the family.

Home: He can go wherever he wants But he sleeps inside.

Roommates/siblings/friends: Toonces our cat, (roommate) Athena the dog (friend), Napoleon the fish (roommate), and a little blue fish who's name is constantly being changed, right now his name is bob (roommate).

Backround: um, I was one year old when we got him so I don't really remember but from what I have been told he was born on a farm with one sibling. His sibling was more hyper than him so my parents got him because they wanted a mellow dog. And uh, my sister wanted to name him fritz because at that time she was obsessed with the ballet the nutcracker. And Chick and I bonded really well after that.

Funny things he does: when you are just standing there  he will walk through your legs and almost knock you over. He also goes crazy for popcorn and (surprisingly) broccoli.

Nicknames: He has WAY to many. I can't list them all.  One of them is Chickleberry.

Main caretaker: Chick and I bonded the most so I guess MEEEE!

Other: He is so fabulous!

Picture: How do you post those?

I use my Mom's Android phone to take a picture, then pull up google photos on the computer. Than I click which picture I want, then press : (it has an extra dot on the bottom) and click download. Then, once the picture is done downloading, I drag it from the bottom of the screen to the "choose file" botton on the add comment page.

Hope this helps!
