Does anyone else
Does anyone else like writing plays? I am the author of Seaborn, (a play about mermaids) and a series of mini-plays that would work better as a TV show.

I've never written an actual play, but I have written movies for my friends to act, that I film.

i've been meaning to try writing a full-length play...I've written short plays for school, but that's it.

I don't attempt them nearly as often as I do novels, but I have dabbled. I wrote "The Courgette of Courage" (title courtesy GAPA RC) last April during Script Frenzy, and that's the only one I've managed to finish. Although technically it's a screenplay, not a stageplay, and my friend in CA is filming it as such.
Anyway it was a random story about the traditional "villains" of a superhero tale, and involved (among other things) two yellow men named Xop and Poiu, a Sacred Zucchini, a robot named Kangaroo, arson, and National Villain's Conventions. Not necessarily in that order, though. :)

Seaborn is a cool sounding name for a book!

Thanks. The girl was born on a boat, if you were wondering. I forgot to mention I also wrote a play called... .... ... did I forget to NAME IT??? Well, one of my friend's calls it "Blackbeard's Revenge." But the thing is, the main character is Mary Peirce. Unfortunately, the play's sole performance had a few minor problems. For one, we couldn't get blackbeard a beard, and he refused to let us draw one on, which is why to this day, his nickname is Nobeard. Well, whatever.
