Caroline is eleven
Caroline is eleven years old and believes in magic. Violet, her older sister, at age fifteen, knows that the world is hard, cold, and fiercely real, and that the things Caroline dreams about will never be. Living in the household of their stern, sharp, unaffectionate, mother, who tries to knock the notion of magic out of Caroline's head, it's up to Violet to look after her sister and herself.
Andrei doesn't remember ever being in a real house—His home, as long as he can recall, is a roofless one, of forests, secrecy, and magic. He gets dreams that tell the future, but he's been known to mix up what's a "night-prophecy" (as he and the Crew calls them) and what's just a dream. Loyal, calm, and levelheaded, Andrei lives for his friends and will take down anything that threatens them, no matter the cost.
Jay is Andrei's best friend and part of the Crew, a tall, lanky, teenager with an easy smile and a love for the unknown. Unlike Andrei, he remembers what came before his joining, but doesn't like to talk about it. Able to teleport short distances, he discovered his power by trying to run away, but has learned you can't run from memories.
O is the leader of the Crew, headstrong and fierce. She wants to do what will help them survive, but sometimes the line between what works and what's right confuses her. The Crew, a band of average-looking people with powers, lives to protect themselves—Humans don't like what they can't understand, and magic is not easily comprehendable. They recruit people who can do what they can in order to shield them from the scrutiny of the world and to teach them in the ways of the Crew.
Andrei has a night-prophecy revealing a possible new addition to the Crew— who is Violet, not yet blossomed but immensely powerful. Their paths cross, sparks, fly, and suddenly, Violet, Caroline, Jay, O, and Andrei, all find themselves with ties to a world different from their own, and knowing they can never go back.

So, I'm writing a book. (Above.) And I'd like some background characters for members of the Crew. Inspired by Cho's Charrie Sheet! thread, fill out this form and I may add you into the story! Your charries won't be main and may just have cameos. I'd like about 7-10. I know y'all love getting super-creative with your charries, but if they're too inconsistent with the tone of the book or get into larger subplots, I may not be able to use them.

Personality: Curious and playful, but quick temper. Hates unfairness, unkindness, spite and sore losers.
Appearance: Long black hair, usually in crooked braids. Curious, sparkling violet eyes. Small, but strong, flexible and very quick. Light and nimble, but short (which she hates).
Power: Manipulation of weather/skies (esp. wind and light, good at rain, too)

Hmm... This is interesting...
Name: Harlow Paine (She's a charrie I made a while ago that never got put in a story.)
Age: 17-18?
Personality: Cold, but will always give you a chance. All of her actions must be for a good cause/have a reason, and she is very wise. Sometimes, people think she's depressed, but she just doesn't show her feelings.
Appearance: Long, jet black hair that is always in a ponytail, piercing blue eyes, fairly pale skin, tall, athletic figure, wears a lot of neutral colors or black, very sharp cheekbones, and has an awesome death stare. She has bold features and often seems unfriendly.
Power: Summoning/talking to the dead(Is that okay) Something to do with the dead, at least.
Summarized Background: Her father left after her younger sister, Blair, was born, and she was left with her mother, ZsaZsa. (Her sister also has powers involving the dead/underworld.)

Age: 8
Personality: Confident, stubborn, feisty and fiercely loyal.
Appearance: Dark brown eyes, shoulder length dirty blonde hair and thin eyebrows that are usually pointed downward as if she is thinking hard.
Power: She can summon fire to do as she wishes. (Is that to powerful? I can change it if it is.)
Summarized background: Her dad died in a fire when she was two. Felicity doesn't like to talk about it because she was the one who accidentally caused the fire. After that her mom was so sad she stopped caring about anything and didn't take care of Felicity.

Summarized Background: Scarlett once had a normal life, but that was before her mother died in a car accident. The day she lost her voice. She ran away soon after her father remarried, and that was when O found her.

Name: Almira Jaraan
Age: 13
Personality: Short tempered and ferocious, Almira is often impatient and easily frustrated with people that don't understand things as quick as she does. She is extremely stubborn and has very strong beliefs that she is quick to defend and slow to let go of. She doesn't like to admit that she's wrong but is perfectly fine when others are wrong. She is quick and agile from living in the forest. Constantly angry and arguementative.
Appearance: Short, skinny, and quick, she is good at getting around the forest (usually up in trees.) She has black hair pulled into a braid, and calculating green eyes. Usually wears loose clothes, and NEVER a dress. Ever.
Power: Well, I was going to do fire, but that seems to be taken, so I'll go with controlling plants.
Summarized Background: She grew up in a poor, but loving family, but when she was 7, her family was killed by an evil group of humans (I don't feel like thinking up a name for them.) She should have been killed as well, but something that she couldn't quite explain back then happened. The trees protected her. They swooped down suddenly and stopped the gunshots from hitting her, and helped her escape into the forest. She has never been the same, and this is why her personality is the way it is.

Personality: Shy ad a bit intimidating at first, but really nice when you get to know her. Easily offended.
Appearance: Tall for her age, straight black hair and brown ski with striking brown eyes
Power: Flash-Back - can look into the past and tell what happened in a place or with people
Summarized Background: Orphaned at a young age and taken in by some neighbors that made he work for them. She realized that she had flash-back when she had a few episodes where she passed out and "remembered" things that didn't happen to her. She ran away at age 10

Age: 11
Personality: Shy, doesn't know how to make friends. Independent and doesn't always get in the action.
Appearence: Gold wings, Gold hair, gold eyes, gold skin.
Power: Can fly super fast and super high, can breathe in space, and is good at martial arts (that isn't really a power, but I'd like to include it).
Backround: She was born to two fairies, but she ended up human-sized. Her parents didn't know what to do with her. So, when the fairy colony moved on, they left her behind.
This seems like a great story! I know Flit doesn't have very good powers, but can you please include her anyways?

Name: Celestial Worldsmith.
Age: 14.
Personality: Celestial is very shy and reserved, but empathizes deeply with everyone and gets along well with most people. She is fascinated by human nature, and people in general, but is also somewhat afraid and avoiding of them because of her unique abilities, listed below under "Power".
Appearance: Celestial has shimmering, silvery-golden hair the color of starlight, and large, soft, deep-violet eyes, like the evening sky, that fill with twinkling lights like stars whenever she laughs. She is very small and slender, and wears a short, pure-white gown with soft silver boots and an evening-grey cloak.
Power: Empathy. Really. But not the sort you'd expect. Celestial is so deeply in tune with everyone and the whole world that she can communicate with the stars and planets, and pretty much every aspect of the universe. She has recently discovered that this allows her to control the greater powers of the world, and she has also found that she can control and manipulate the way other people use their powers. This scares her immensely, and she is afraid to use her abilities, but they will sometimes burst out beyond her control. That's a lot of power for a 14-year-old to have, and it is too much for her-- she is not strong enough to safely use her own powers. She is very frightened, and her powers make her very dangerous, and she is afraid to tell anyone about it all. But they are beginning to figure it out.
Summarized Background: Celestial's parents were selfish and corrupted, and she fled them when she was only seven years old. She lived a dark life full of fear and danger until she was taken in by a caravan of wandering gypsies, who discovered her abilities. They promptly turned her out, and Celestial was left with more broken memories and a new terror of herself to be added to her fear of everything else. When she was twelve years old, she was found by the Crew, who could tell that she was different, and knew she was in danger from the rest of the world, just as they were. At first they could not guess what her Power was-- they kept her for two whole years out of pity. But now, with the whisper of approaching, unseen danger, Celestial has begun to feel the turmoil and disturbance of the universe and can't help but show it. She is becoming more and more dangerous, and the Crew is not sure whether they should send her away, which would be the death of her, or keep her on, which threatens the lives and safety of them all.
So yes, Celestial is pretty messed up just now.
I'm sorry if she's too powerful-- you don't have to use her.
