I am writing
I am writing a book. Does anybuggy want to read it?
P.S. I would like to find the perfect illustrator too.
P.S.S. It is about flying animals; the first few books are about flying deer/fawn.
Fig says "XBWT." Do you mean Xylophone Bugs Write Timidly?

I would love to read it! I know there are people here who are much, much better than I at art, but I really like drawing wings and would be glad to illustrate for you!

What's it called?
(April 20, 2016 - 2:17 pm)
The very first book is called "Dawn of the Fawn."
The main character is Vine; she is fawn/deer with bird wings.
The main evil charicter is Python; he is a python with dragon wings.

I would love to draw for it! Also, since Scylla and I both like to illustrate, maybe you could do a thing where each artist switches off for chapters or such. If we do do it, that is.

Oooh! That sounds like fun! Can I draw with you guys too?

I can illustrate as well, if you like.

I could illustrate. I'm illustrating my own books.

I would love to read it. I am a TERRIBLE artist so I can't illustrate it. I am writing a book as well and probably need an illustrator too. Anyway happy writing!
Fred says WPEV. Does he mean Water Ponies Eat Valiantly?

Sounds cool.
I hope you manage to finish this...sadly, I guss that about only 40% who post on the CB that they are writing a book actually end up finishng it.
If you are pretty serious about this novel, then I strongly advise you to read Marissa Meyer's "My Writing Process: 9 Steps From Idea to Finished." It is extremely helpful.
To find it, Goggle "marissa meyer writing tips my writing process from idea to finish" and it should be the first option.
Within Marissa Meyer's Steps, she recommends the "Story Structure" video series by Dan Wells. It's divided into five different videos. Google "story structure dan wells" which is a lecture by an author (who kind of reminds me of John Greene in his Crash Course videos). Also very good and helpful. But I would definitely recommend the Marissa Meyer thing.
Good luck, Vikki! :)

Oh! Sounds cool! I can't draw 3-D things well, so I probably can't illustrate for you, but the plot sounds great! (I like animals, so yeah).
