True selves RP!
In this RP, everyone will roleplay as, well, themselves! Obviously, we're going to have to change our last name to fit the Admin's requirements, but other than that, your personality and everything will be the same! ~Hannah~ Everbody keeps throwing suggestions around as we slowly trickle into the hallway. Oh good grief. "Never mind, Emma." I say. "Never mind what?" She asks incredulously. "I can't join this group. You have my support, but I can't."

Chicken. A voice in my mind calls out. I roll my eyes and move forward in search of Grammar class. "Hannah!" Emma calls out, obviously exasperated. I turn around, walking backwards and salute her, a cocky grin on my face.

"Um, uh, hi?" A girl says nearby. I whip around. Oh. She isn't talking to me. "I'm Amelia," She mumbles.

"Is your next class grammer by any chance?" I raise an eyebrow, but keep moving. "What?" The other girl asks. "Nothing. Uh, I'm just gonna go." Amelia says. Keep moving. Someone smacks into me.

"Hey!" I call out indignantly. "Oh, sorry." Amelia says, blushing. "Nah, it's okay. You just surprised me." She smiles faintly, nodding. "I heard you were going to Grammar ...!" I say ackwardly as we walk through the hall.

"Oh! Yeah ..." I sigh. You aren't exactly attempting to make friends with me, eh? Do I just not appear to have the same intrests?

"Would, um, does it really take more than five minutes to name all your fandoms?" Amelia asks quietly. I grin.

"Probably," I admit. "Tolkenites, Star Wars, Disney, Legos, Drawing, Video games, MLP, Reading, The Inheritance Cycle, The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, Fanart, Roleplaying, Crafting, and I used to do Webkinz, but the website is awful now, um ... oh! Writing, Singing, Listening to music, WoF, Redwall, The Chronicles of Prydain, Warriors, The Hunger Games, Oz, Neverland, Harry Potter, and I would like to get into Cosplay, The Princess Bride, Marvel, and that's pretty much it." I glance down at my watch.

"Rats," I say, trying to contain a grin. "Only a minute." Amelia looks at me with a funny expression on her face.

"Here, I have to show you this." I say, pulling out my phone.

"See?!" I exclaim.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while!

Arabella~

Going out of the classroom, I hear snatches of whispered conversation. I strain my ears and try to make out what people are saying. A prank? On Mr. Blits? That guy is well and truly a pile of schist, but even with my smart-mouthedness, I try not to cause more trouble than necessary.

I look for Kate, but she's camouflaged in the sea of kids. That's OK. There's about ten minutes until the next period, so I go down a few corridors and, lo and behold, there's the library.

I suck in my breath. This place is the best. Shelves and shelves of books, twice my height, with armchairs here and there. I go to a remote corner and plop down in one, opening my comic book and plugging my earbuds in my ears.

One of my favorite songs starts playing. "Arabella's got some interstellar gator-skin boots...and a helter-skelter 'round her little finger and I ride it endlessly.."

I sing along out loud when it comes to my favorite part, my fingers tapping in rhythm on the armrest. "Just might have tapped into your mind and soul...you can't be sure." It's always fun to pretend the song is about me. Maybe an alternate me. A super-cool, not nerdy, not anxious, not clumsy me.

I look at my watch and jump. Ten minutes is up. I stuff my things in my bag and leave the library at a run. I skid down hallways until I find my locker, hastily switching my math things out and looking at my schedule. Next period? Grammar. Maybe I'll do better. Hopefully.

~

Well, there's the origin of my username. Anyone else a fan of the Arctic Monkeys, or am I that one weird indie-rock-loving chick in the back of the room? (Well, yeah, probably, ha.)

They are! 'Least I think they are. If you're into that kind of music, you should totally check them out. Plus they all have awesome British accents :P :)

Dang. Awesomesuace. I love British accents. Question. Do they swear in their songs? (pleasesayno, please say no ..!!!)

Ehhh... a bit. I suggest you avoid the first two albums. A few songs I like that don't curse: Brianstorm (more rock), Fireside, and Do I Wanna Know (more pop/rock), and Only Ones Who Know (slower; good to listen to when you have a lot of feels). They change their style about every album, and they've been together for 10 years with 5 albums, so there's lots to choose from.

It also depends on the curses ... Basically, all the ones the Admins will allow.

GO INDIE ROCK! I didn't know about the Arctic Monkeys until now, Arabella, but Indie-Pop/Rock and Alt-Pop/Rock are the best! Has anyone heard of the band The 1975 or Neutral Milk Hotel? (I found out about Neutral Milk Hotel by reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green. There is some cussing in it but it's a good book.)

Amelia~

Let's see. How many fandoms do we have in common? Star Wars, Disney, Drawing, Reading, Fanart, RPing, Crafting, Webkinz, which is crazy because I totally agree with her about the website being horrible now. It's not even fun anymore because you have to get a deluxe membership for everything! Writing, Singing but not in front of people, listening to music, especially those lesser known bands, Warriors, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Marvel.

"Here, I have to show you this," she says, taking her phone from her pocket. "See?!"

I laugh out loud, something I haven't done at school in a long time. "True that!" I exclaim, surprising myself. That was kind of loud, I think. Oh, gosh, Amelia, this is not a time to stress out over little things. Pull yourself together! I'm probably blushing like crazy. I swear, people probably think I have some kind of skin disorder, with me blushing so often. I stare at my shoes, unsure of what to say.

"So, we both like art." I finally mutter. Duh, Amelia! She literally just said she liked art. But, this is a good topic to start a conversation, at least for me. I could talk about art for hours. "What kind of art do you do?" I ask, adding, "I do a lot of shading. Faces are the hardest to draw for me, but I like to do them because it's a challenge. What about you?"

Woohoo! Yes they are! I heard a couple of The 1975's songs, but I don't know much about them. Maybe I'll listen to a few more. As for Neutral Milk Hotel, that is an awesome name, so I'll have to check them out :D

~Hannah~ "So, we both like art." Amelia says after laughing at my picture. I nod and tuck my phone into my pocket.

"What kind of art do you do?" Amelia asks. "I do a lot of shading. Faces are the hardest to draw for me, but I like to do them because it's a challenge. What about you?"  I grin. I'm finally making some headway. "I mostly do a manga based artwork with almost no shading, even though I know how to do it,"

"It sometimes takes me hours to get the body shape to my liking," I say, tossing my hair over my shoulder. "And, I can't draw guys. It's my fatal flaw." I say.

"I can draw some pretty good ponies, but I perfer to make group pictures of a roleplay I'm in, or a book I'm writing. I can draw some okay dragons. Only because my sister has an awesome book about it.

"It suggests putting hair on dragons, but personally, I find that a bit weird. Somehow the author manages to pull it off, though."

Amelia nods. "What are some fandoms we have in common?" I ask. "FYI, we need to wrap it up." I say, then realize what that sounded like. I smack my face. "Sorry, it's just I don't want to be late for class. I would absoloutely love to keep talking."

I'm sorry it's taken so long for me to do this-- am I too late?
And I'm going to skip the appearance slot, if that's permissable.
Name: Esthelle Tinuviel (obviously not my real name) ;)
Appearance: Myssssssteriesssssss, Prrrrrresssssssshousssssssss ;)
Things they are good at: Writing (I hope), reading, imagining, empathizing, piano-playing, walking, amusing people. For some reason, I seem to be able to tell other people's emotions and to feel those emotions differently from others.
Things they need work on: Math, typing, public speaking.I have a difficult time completing things on schedule. And I am incredibly slow. Once I took 2 hours just brushing my teeth--really! D: I also have a rather wry sense of humor--which I try to keep to myself most of the time.
Introvert or extrovert? Introverted. I love people and like just watching and listening to them. But I become easily exhausted and sometimes irritated by drawn-out social interaction and need time to myself to order my thoughts and recharge. (Being extroverted or introverted does not depend on whether or not you like people-- it's about where you draw your energy from. Extroverts draw it from other people--Introverts draw it from within.)
Optimist or pessimist? Neither. I like to go through life expecting that nothing will go exactly the way I have it planned out, that nothing will be perfect. I find that when you just let things happen, life is a lot happier. When an event doesn't turn out just so, I'm not disappointed-- in fact, I'm able to percieve the little bright things that change the whole picture, and can enjoy the moment. In those rare little instances when things turn out just right, I can be surprised and delighted. I think that's called being a "Realist" but I'm not sure.
Favorite color, song, book, movie, etc: My favorite color is a pure, azure blue. I don't know what my favorite song is. I like Cold Play, Enya, and Classical Music.  My favorite book might be either the entire Lord of the Rings novel or On Fairy-Stories. I also enjoy Jane Austen, Agatha Christie and Wilkie Collins. And "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel" by Susanna Clarke.  I don't know if I have a favorite movie, but I enjoy "The Princess Bride"--every line is a quote! :D
Best subject: Reading. Writing if I would complete the work on time. :/
Personality: I don't really know my own personality. I guess I'm kind, but I like arguing (not squabbling, arguing) and most people don't. I'm shy before I know you, and bolder after I do. I always see the fantastical and romantic (old-fashioned definition of romantic) in everything. I guess I'm an old-fashioned-kind-of-romantic person, myself. I can convince myself that I don't have a bad habit when I want to get out of that habit, and I believe in Fairies (in a Secondary-Belief sort of way, as Tolkien would say. ;) )
Other: I will inevitably try to make you read the books I like if I meet you, because I like to talk to people about literary works and hear their opinions (and possibly argue about them).
Well, that's all, I think! Could I begin with being buddies with Cho? Thank you all! :D

Could we maybe meet and be friends? Our charries are very similar, although there are some things I didn't put on my charrie sheet that we would have in common. I don't have any friends in the RP yet, and I don't know if I ever will unless I ask. :-(
