Jenni and Flamiriel
Jenni and Flamiriel are doing a Mystery/Fantasy story.
Rules:
1. No fighting.
2. No taking over the story. Work it out with your partner so you can both do the story equally.
3. Keep the story PG.
4. GloWorm says to always keep to your genre, but I disagree: if you really want to, change genres.
Thank you very much! :)

Okay!
Thanks BellaTrix!
Uh, Flamiriel?
Is your name Flamiriel or Famiriel, (because I'm not quite sure)?
What do you want to write about?
My Ideas are:
We could do Mystery and Fantasy at the same time, like someone important gets kidnapped and people are trying to find them and do other important stuff at the same time.........
And that's basically it so far, I've got a headache right now so sorry if my idea is lame.

Hi. I love Cricket! And my idea is a unicorn named Finn goes on a wild adventure and tries to follow in her parents' footsteps, but she doesn't know what job her parents had so it's a mystery... Until she meets this wizard that helps her with the mystery. And there is a another book after this book that tells about her true destiny and then continues on her quest for the secret of the parents' job...

Hi, Sophia! But, umm . . . This is a thread for Jenni and Flamiriel. They're doing a project together. Would you like to do one, too? If so, please click on this . . .The Author Pairs...

Hi. It's Falmiriel, F-A-Lmiriel. Maybe I should get a less complicated pseudonym.
Anyway, the fantasy-mystery idea sounds great, but I'm out of time right now. I'll think about ideas and get back to you.
(April 7, 2009 - 7:57 pm)
Okay, back. Didn't come up with anything really, but that's OK. I haven't done mystery much before, I guess that'll be your job.
So, fantasy. Do you like fantasy-in-our-world (E. Nesbit, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl) or fantasy-somewhere-else (LotR, Pern, Eragon)?
(April 8, 2009 - 8:37 am)
I like different worlds, maybe multiple worlds to have the story in, but you can decide. I'm just wondering, did you get your psuedonym from LoTR? I love that book. Nevermind about the how-do-you-spell-it question, I can remember it now. And I also know nothing about mystery, so I think we should stick to fantasy, if that sounds good to you. And, do you want a story with magic, or no magic? I like doing magic, but if you don't want to, that's okay too. btw, how old are you? just wondering.
(April 8, 2009 - 12:23 pm)
Magic's great. I'm 16, and it's not in LotR, but it's Elvish. Yeah, maybe we can stick a little bit of mystery in the fantasy, 'cuz mystery rocks, but I haven't tried that before, so no guarantees. Anyway, yeah. So, other world. Um, if we're doing a short story, we should probably not bother to build up a whole world. We could put two in, though. Maybe there are these mysterious (hey, mystery) things that turn out to be coming from a different world. Or, maybe we're just in one world, and we could explore one thing in that world, like how magic works there.
(April 8, 2009 - 5:40 pm)
And who said it had to be short? *winks* I've been brainstorming for plots. I have several, your choice which to use, or not at all. (Wow, that last sentence doesn't make sense. Oh, well.) My favorite is there's this tomboy girl, only girl in a huge family, and when her father is killed, she's the only one who can find the murderer. I have'nt decided whether her brothers come along or not, though. That, you can decide if you like the idea.

Flamiriel? Where are u!
(April 13, 2009 - 6:08 pm)
Eh, sorry. Haven't been able to get on recently.
Anyway, the idea of the tomboy girl who's going to find out who killed her father is a good one. What kind of world would it take place in? I'm thinking one with lots of complicated politics and intrigue-type stuff. Maybe an all-powerful Wizards' Guild with members who are always intriguing against each other, or maybe dad was a court official or something.
Ooo, ooo - idea. We want magic, right? And someone killed this guy, right? So why don't we say that someone killed him because he knew some magical secret that they didn't want getting out? Like he could have found out the secret of making people immune to poison or something else that would get in the way of the killers' accomplishing what they wanted.
(April 16, 2009 - 4:11 pm)
Sounds good!!!
(April 17, 2009 - 11:47 pm)
*Aaaa!* Really sorry for poofing AGAIN and staying off for weeks... I wish like anything Mom would make up her mind whether I'm supposed to be on the computer or not!... Anyway. So, let's see. Um, where were we?... I'm babbling. Brain flat-lining. Uh, so this guy finds out a secret that someone kills him because they don't want it to get out, and then his daughter solves the mystery. Great. But why? What kind of secret could he figure out? Ball's in your court.

Er . . . Jenni, Falmiriel's here. I can't exactly pair you up with Aliza if Falmiriel's still here. Although you and her could do a project on your own, if you want.
(May 10, 2009 - 8:01 am)
'k sorry, Falmiriel!
(May 10, 2009 - 11:58 am)
The secret of immortality, of course! But the bad guys want all the immortality to themselves, so they kill him to prevent other good guys from knowing. Hmm?
