Hi Kraken! I am somewhat new too so I don't know that much but I know that in RPs you make a character that fits to the theme of the RP and then you tell a story from your character's point of view. I am probably going to start an RP soon so feel free to join!

When people comment 'Top', it means they want the thread to go to the top of the page.

AEs are Alter Egos, and they are creatures that travel with CBers (Chatter Boxers or Cybers) and they typically have crazy or weird personalities. They can be anything from people to dragons to a pile of blankets.... For example, my AE is Gwen. She's one of the calmer AE's, and she's also kind of sane. Hey! I'm not sane! When people write things from their AE's perspective, they usually use bold or italics. Anyways, Gwen is a huge pessimist. She's really depressed and also kind of rude.

CAPTCHAS are the code before you submit your post. CBers can make up their own CAPTCHA. CAPTCHAS are normally animal-like creatures. They can only say the code at the bottom of the post. CBers try to interpret what their CAPTCHAs say. For example, my CAPTCHA, Cappy, is kind of like a cat. He says wgnv. We're going now vat?? We go now vigor? Cappy, be more clear in what you say next time.

RPs are Roleplays, where each person has a character and they write the story from their characters perspective.

Round Robin is where one person puts in an entry for a character and then another person puts in an entry for the same character.

SI is where people go with a false name and everyone has to guess who put what name.

I'm kinda new here too. Well, I've been here a few months. The inkwell is the place where you and others can write stories together. An RP is a role play in which each person is given a character and they choose what happens in the story. I never tried it before. Maybe we can be in one together! They sort of hold auditions of some sort. The Down to Earth section is where you can talk about nothing in particular, just everyday topics. Blab about Books is where you talk about books, and Pudding's Place is for the artists. I'm not exactly sure what Chirp at Cricket is; I think it's where you introduce newbies or something.

Also, the AE (Alter Ego) thread that you find in the Down to Earth section is awesome! It's a place where you can say anything, even if it's kinda rude or mean. My AE is just called "The Wolf," since I'm knida like a werewolf. I bite when I'm angry. Although maybe I'll call it Rema or Romula, after the 2 kids in a Roman story where Remus and Romulus are 2 children raised by wolves, and in the end, Romulus kills Remus or something. Also, Remus Lupin is my favorite character in the Harry Potter series. He's a werewolf too! Spoiler Alert. But he's really nice, and people judge him because of what he is. He can never find work that lasts more than a few months, since his coworkers will realise that he disappears every full moon.
