Calling all Chatterbox poets! The American Library of Poetry's due date for their ongoing poetry contest is April 30. There are no requirments except you have to be between grades 3-12, your poem has to be less than 20 lines, and it basically has to be appropriate. Their website is www.libraryofpoetry.com. I'm probably going to do it, but there's another poetry contest going on at my local library, so I don't know if I'll do both. It would be cool if a Cricket reader entered and won, though!
P.S. 1st prize is a $500 savings bond.
