Brooke E. did this once. I was searching the back pages and I found this. I am going to simplafy the story a little bit. So there are the humans and the mermaids. The Humans don't know about the mermaids but the Mermaids know about the humans. You can either be a normal mermaid or a Golden tail. There was a prophecy a long time ago in the mermaid kingdom. It was that evil would rise again and __insert number of mermaids here___ Golden tails would stop it. Golden tails are special meramaids that have a power and a golden tail. The powers you can have are air fire water and earth. One power per person and two people can have that same power.

Name: Perl Wave
Age( between 10 and 18 please) 13
Element: fire Can throw fire balls at people and make a fire ligth.
Apperance: Black hair sea green eyes,
When Human: Green dress and black leggings
When mermaid : Golden tail
Personality: strange, diffrent, feirce, kind, not very friendly sometimes.
Other: her mother was a mermaid and her father was a siren. She doesn't know where either of them are now.
In the story the mermaids( and mermen) are fighting the Sirens

This looks fun. And welcome back Brookeira. We haven't heard from you in awhile.
Name: Sea Breeze
Age: 14
Element: wind. Can use air to fly and make mini tornadoes.
Appearance: long blonde hair with purple streaks, pale, sky blue eyes, usually has a strand of hair in not her face.
When human: wears a purple and blue tunic with a rope belt, grey leggings, and flats.
When mermaid: purple top with blue swirls, a faded golden tail, and a blue flow skirt over her tail.
Personality: quiet, but not shy. Loves music.
Other: can play the harp and sing.

Element: Water. This includes, ice, snow, mist, and water itself.
Appearance: Long brunette hair, one purple eye, one turquoise eye, very pale.
When human: Wears purple corduroy shorts, a shirt with a blue fish on it, and short boots.
When mermaid: Gold-and-purple tail, shirt with inlaid amethysts.
Personality: Very smart. Focused on her studies. Nerdy. Generally friendly.
Other: VERY good at water magic.

Name- Aqua Anemone
Age- 11
Element- Water, if that is a choice. And if by the time this is posted someone else hasn't already taken it. If I can't do water then electricity. She can change salt water to fresh water and make the waves move at any speed she likes. Also make tiny ('bout an inch tall) absoulutely useless whirlpools! (SHE IS NOT OP. The whirlpools are useless and don't really count and using her power takes a lot of energy so she doesn't use it often)
Appearance- light blond almost white wavy whispy hair with sky blue highlights. Blue/gray eyes.
When Human- sky blue dress that ends just above her knees with one of those brown woven belt-y thingys.. hard to explain.. straps.. yeah, very hard to explain.
When mermaid- sky blue tail
Personality- Quiet, shy, curious, thinks differently, more of a follower than a leader, organized, and defensive. Only likes to fight if there's a good reason.
Other- Lives alone besides her many.. many many... many pets. Both parents were sirens, but she wasn't. Got separated from them at age 2. Very independent.
Bubbles says gtgk. He's talking in texting language! Translation- got to go, okay? Bubbles, where are you going?

Appearance: just below the shoulder brown hair, green eyes
When Human: Wears aqua colored jeans and a flowy coral colored top
When Mermaid: can she be a Golen Tail?
Personality: Loyal, brave, spunky, sarcastic
Other: has a sister, she is still alive, but got lost in the human world and can't find her way back to the ocean.

Age: 13
Element: Earth. Can control earth and rocks to some extent.
Appearance: Longish, orange-red hair, freckles, green eyes, pale skin.
When Human: Has braces. Usually wears normal t-shirts with a pun on them (Her favorite one, which she wears ALL THE TIME, says 'I'm so punny!') She also wears skinny jeans and sneakers.
When Mermaid: Green tube top made out of sea weed, golden tail with beautiful green swirls on it.
Personality: LOVES to make people laugh. A total comedian. Cracks jokes and puns all the time. Pretty lighthearted and not that serious. Usually a very happy person (or should I say mermaid,) and an optimist.
Other: DO NOT ask her about her past. NEVAAAAR...
P.S Cappy says eroc. Yes, she has earth powers, she can lift rocks.
